Wale and Gunna are two of the rappers most often seen chilling courtside during sporting events. Later in November, they’ll take their music to arenas as well. Wale, a DMV local, will play the Black empowerment 2019 anthem “Sue Me” as part of the halftime show when the Washington Football Team takes on the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football on November 29.

“I am honored to perform for my home team on such an important night–Monday Night Football and Inspire Change–with such a needed message about supporting the Black community,” Wale said. “I am dedicating this performance to the Black community of the DMV, and to show my appreciation and give flowers to those who supported me from the very beginning of my career.”

Wale’s “Folarin II” album sequel dropped in October and debuted at No. 22 on the Billboard 200. Despite features from J. Cole and Maxo Cream, it was the lowest-charting album debut of his career.

Gunna’s Atlanta Halftime Show

Gunna will be back at State Farm Arena later tonight as the Atlanta Hawks take on the Boston Celtics in an Eastern Conference matchup at 7:30 p.m. ET. The native Georgia rapper will perform at halftime. Earlier this year, Gunna sparked dating rumors with songstress Chloe Bailey after the pair sat together courtside at a Hawks game. Gunna teamed up with the Hawks to put together a special ticket package for the game that starts at $27. The package includes a custom shirt made by Gunna, an entry ticket, and a $10 beverage and food credit.
