XXXTENTACION Surpasses Drake’s Most Streamed Record On Spotify
Even after XXXTENTACION’s untimely passing over three years ago, his albums continue to make history. A previous announcement by the mother of XXXTentacion indicated that more music from her son is forthcoming and a documentary.
XXXTENTACION’s Album Tops Drake’s
Chart Data reported that the Florida-raised rapper’s album “?” has now become Spotify’s most-streamed Hip Hop album. The record followed Drake’s massive “Scorpion” achievement. With 7.5 billion streams as of November 2021, Scorpion was comfortably ahead of “?” with 6.9 billion streams. Though, as shown by Chart Masters, “?” has since increased its play-throughs to 7.884 billion, making it the most played album across all platforms. It eventually surpassed Scorpion (7.883 billion) by fewer than a billion spins.

X’s Beef With Drake
The move by XXXTENTACION’s album marks a coming full circle for the controversial SoundCloud rap icon. XXXTENTACION also called the Toronto megastar a “pussy n-gga” in 2017 after he allegedly bit his “Look At Me!” flow on “KMT.”
More Number One Hits
Furthermore, there is still a lot of catching up to be done for the XXXTENTACION’s album “?” to become the most-streamed album on Spotify. However, the distinction currently belongs to Ed Sheeran’s “÷,” which has accumulated 11.5 billion streams to date.
XXXTENTACION’s final album, “?” came out in March 2018. In June of that year, he was shot and killed during a robbery outside a motorsports dealership in Pompano Beach, Florida.
Featuring the hits “Sad! “, “Moonlight,” and “Changes,” the also project debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 after accumulating 131,000 equivalent album units. As a result, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has also certified the album triple platinum.
