ZelooperZ finally released his long-anticipated new album, Van Gogh’s Left Ear
The new ZelooperZ album, Van Gogh’s Left Ear, is now available on all streaming platforms. The album is the first from the Detroit artist this year, after dropping 3 studio albums in 2020. Van Gogh’s Left Ear includes special appearances from Danny Brown, Jade Fox, and more. Fans were especially appreciative, however, of the cover art for the album. In the style of Van Gogh, the cover art features a self-portrait with the essence of Starry Night included. Fans were overall impressed by the album cover, and the excitement over that and the new ZelooperZ seemed almost equal.
The release of this album comes a few weeks after the song and music video of “Van Gogh’s Left Ear” was released. The video featured him painting the same artwork used as his album cover, and halfway through we see it switch to him with his ear cut off. It appeared in the same fashion as Van Gogh, who notoriously cut off his own ear. This song gave ZelooperZ’s audience a glimpse at what fans could expect from the upcoming album of the same name. It is safe to say Bruiser Brigade’s resident polymath lived up to his hype, maintaining his pattern of unique rhythms and an innumerable number of flow switches. We can’t wait to see what he does next!
