At this time, Memphis PD is not linking these men with the killing of Young Dolph. A short statement on the Memphis PD’s Twitter post read, “There is no evidence that this shooting is related to the previous shooting”.
During the attack, one man was shot in the leg. According to the Memphis PD, the man’s condition is “non-critical”. Following the shooting, police pursued a gray Nissan Versa, thought to be the get-away vehicle for the shooters. The chase eventually ended when the Versa crashed. From there, the three men in question took off on foot. The affidavit claims that the three men threw their handguns away following the crash. Four handguns were found by police. Two were found on the road, while the others were found in a field and trash can.
As far as Dolph’s killing is concerned, no suspects have been been named, and no arrests made.
