- Kodak Black had words for Boosie Badazz after being left off the invite list for Boosie’s “adult prom”. Recently, the Baton Rouge rapper has been teasing an adult prom to make up for missing out in high school.
“I never been to prom, I always thought that was weak sh*t frfr,” Boosie explained on Instagram. “Now I’m like da*n almost everybody been to prom except me now I wanna go. I think I’m about to do a Adult Prom that sh*t a be fly.”
Earlier this week, Boosie posted a video to Instagram extending an invitation to his prom. Among the names invited were Drake, Cardi B, Kanye West, Snoop Dogg and Rick Ross. Even former president Barack Obama and his wife Michelle were invited.
Kodak Black goes live
However, it appears that Kodak Black isn’t too happy about not making Boosie’s list. On Thursday, the Pompano Beach artist went live on Instagram to call out Boosie, saying his private messages regarding an invite were ignored.
“Ayo, Boosie. You know you my dirty, ya heard? That ain’t gangsta, homie, if you don’t throw that prom sh*t with me, homie,” Kodak said. “Since you’ve been talking about it, I’ve been letting yo a** [k]now in private, and you ain’t saying nothing about it.”
Kodak went on to explain that he meant no hostility towards Boosie, stating that he wanted clarification regarding an invite. “I ain’t saying you ain’t gangsta; I’m saying that ain’t gangsta, fam,” he said.
Boosie Badazz then announced on Friday that the adult prom is set to be thrown at Clark Atlanta University gym in Atlanta, Georgia on July 9. Jagged Edge and Bow Wow will host, while Lil Duval, Trouble and Peewee Longway are among those who will be in attendance.
The bash is part of Boosie’s ATL Weekend celebration, which also includes a skate party at Atlanta’s Metro Fun Center on July 8, along with a topless pool party hosted by Love & Hip Hop: Miami star Sukihana at his house on July 10.
