Latto Serves Looks and Flavor in New “Chicken Grease” Video with Apple Bottom Partnership

Latto Serves Looks and Flavor in New “Chicken Grease” Video with Apple Bottom Partnership

Latto Serves Looks and Flavor in New “Chicken Grease” Video with Apple Bottom Partnership

Latto just dropped her latest video for “Chicken Grease” and it’s a whole vibe. From the very first scene, she’s giving fans a taste of her Southern roots while locking in a nostalgic fashion moment. The video doubles as a debut for her new partnership with Apple Bottoms, the iconic brand that rapper Nelly made a household name in the early 2000s.

The opening scene is pure country-girl glam. Latto is inside, frying chicken in the kitchen with her girls. The girls are wearing Apple Bottom jeans and branded merch, creating a fun throwback for fans who grew up on the trend. It’s dope how Latto continues to put her Georgia upbringing front and center in her work.

Fashion plays a huge role in “Chicken Grease” music video. Latto spends the most of the video in Apple Bottom looks, showing off the brand’s signature curves-hugging style. The partnership feels natural for Latto’s brand—bold, confident, and unapologetically sexy.

Of course, Latto doesn’t shy away from her usual flexes. Lyrically, she stays true to her stance of never dealing with a broke man. It’s not just a line—it’s a mindset. Latto reminds us that she has her own money and will only entertain someone who brings the same energy.

Latto also uses “Chicken Grease” video to show off her natural beauty. Between high-energy twerkin’ shots and kitchen scenes, Latto slips in fresh-faced moments. Her skin is literally skinning! It’s clear, smooth, and glowing without a single blemish.

Chicken Grease, More Than The Title Suggest

“Chicken Grease” is another example of how Latto merges music, lifestyle, and branding in a way that feels authentic. By mixing a throwback fashion partnership with her signature lyrical attitude, she’s giving fans more than just a song—she’s serving a whole cultural moment.

With Nelly’s Apple Bottom legacy behind her and her own rising star power, this collab feels like a full-circle moment for urban fashion. Latto proves that the right artist can make a classic brand fresh again—and still make you hungry for some real Southern fried chicken while she’s at it.

Soulja Boy’s Melrose Avenue SODMG Store Robbed and Vandalized, Losing Thousands In Merch

Soulja Boy in SODMG store

Soulja Boy’s run as an entrepreneur hit a tough chapter this week at his new SODMG store. Soulja’s Melrose Avenue store was vandalized and robbed, with intruders causing significant damages. The thieves also took thousands worth of merchandise, including limited-edition apparel, Soulja’s personal PlayStation and much more.

For those who have been watching Soulja Boy’s moves beyond the headlines, this isn’t his first attempt to diversify his brand. He’s been in the tech game with his own gaming system, dropped clothing lines, and consistently looked for ways to expand as a young Black entrepreneur outside of streaming hits and viral social moments.

It’s easy to overlook Soulja’s grind when the internet focuses on his controversies, but the reality is, he’s trying. Soulja’s SODMG brand was another lane for him to expand as a business man. Seeing SODMG become a target before it even hit its one-year anniversary is a setback not just for him but for the entire culture of young Black creators building businesses in real spaces.

Soulja Boy SODMG store

Soulja Boy is already taking steps to beef up security to protect the store moving forward. This is a reminder that being a young Black entrepreneur comes with challenges that test your resilience.

Lish 2X New Spicy Single “So, WhatsUp”

Lish 2x So, WhatsUp coverart

Lish 2X just dropped new neo-soul, spicy single So, WhatsUp”. If you’ve been waiting for the inspiration to let go of dead relationships, this one’s it. Produced by Ali The Greatest, “So, WhatsUp” is a smooth but bold record about a woman realizing the man she’s been with doesn’t deserve her.  Not only does he not deserve her energy, but he’s blocking the blessings waiting in line behind him. It’s a storyline that hits home for anyone who’s ever had to level up and walk away.

The energy switches up in verse two when Lish 2X introduces her new love interest—a multilingual French man of African descent who comes correct and brings the vibes, the peace, and the adventure that comes when you let go of what’s draining you and step into what’s meant for you.

Ali The Greatest laces the track with a warm, vibey production that lets Lish 2X’s storytelling shine. If the words apply, you’ll know why it’s so  replayable. It’s perfect for your “boss up” playlists, late-night drives when you’re making decisions about your next chapter, or that moment when you finally block his number and don’t look back.

Lish 2X proves once again she’s not afraid to say what needs to be said. LI$H reminds listeners that sometimes the biggest flex is choosing yourself.

“So, WhatsUp” is streaming on all platforms now. Don’t sleep on it.

Central Cee & Sexyy Red Heat Up the Summer with “Guilt Trippin” Visuals

Central Cee & Sexyy Red Heat Up the Summer with “Guilt Trippin” Visuals

Central Cee and Sexyy Red just pulled up with a summer anthem that’s about to live rent-free on your playlists. Their new collab, “Guilt Trippin,” just dropped with visuals that blend reggae’s breezy bounce with that raw St. Louis rap energy Sexyy Red is known for.

The track is everything we expect from these two: catchy, controversial, and honest about the ups and downs of love in 2025. It’s that ghetto love story many live but don’t post, unpacking guilt, power plays, and the messy lines we cross when feelings are too deep to walk away.

The video? Straight vibes. Beach shots, block parties, and neon-lit rooftops. Lots of flirtatious back-and-forth moments bring their fiery dynamic to life. Central Cee’s cool delivery plays off Sexyy Red’s unfiltered bars, creating the kind of collab we didn’t know we needed but glad to have.

Yes, the lyrics are raw, and yes, people will talk. But that’s why it’s working. “Guilt Trippin” doesn’t pretend — Sexyy Red & Central Cee tells the truth about love’s messy side while giving you a beat that makes you want to dance through the drama.

Catch the “Guilt Trippin” video and let us know if you’re vibing or if you’ve been there, done that. Either way, Central Cee and Sexyy Red is officially stamped for your summer rotation.

Remy Ma Airs Out Papoose in Divorce Drama—& Clarissa Shields Is Catching Strays She Ain’t Ready For

Remy Ma and Papoose

Whew, chile… not Remy Ma vs. Papoose: The Final Season already trending harder than their new music drops.

Once upon a time, Remy Ma and Papoose were hip-hop’s ride-or-die poster couple. Goals. Period. But baby, 2025 said plot twist, and now the marriage is dead, the blogs are in shambles, and Clarissa Shields—yes, the boxing champ—is catching a public fade with no gloves.

Let’s get into the tea, respectfully.

🧾 From Black Love to Big Yikes

Rap queen Remy Ma hopped on live and didn’t just spill the tea—she boiled the whole pot. Sis aired out the real dynamics behind the scenes of her 16-year marriage, and let’s just say it’s not giving partnership, it’s giving dependent. 👀

According to Rem, Papoose has been moving like a kept man—on her health insurance, being financially held down by her, and basically living like she’s the one wearing all the pants, belts, and boxers in the household.

Back in 2008, he was the loyal husband who waited through her prison sentence. Fast forward to now, and Remy’s painting a picture of a man who’s lost the plot… and the paycheck.

👀 Meanwhile, Clarissa Shields Is Just Vibin’ In The Firestorm

Let’s talk about the heavyweight champion of the world turned heavyweight topic in the group chat: Clarissa Shields. The undefeated boxer has been seen boo’d up with Papoose more than a few times — despite the very public fact that he’s still legally tied to Remy.

Make it make sense.

Clarissa out here acting like she’s the main character, but sis… this ain’t the rom-com you think it is. The timeline is giving messy situationship. The blogs are eating her alive, and fans are side-eyeing like, “Is this what we’re doing now?”

We know love is blind, but c’mon — the marriage license is in 20/20 HD.

🔁 Both Been Steppin’?

Allegedly… everybody been outside. Word on the blogs is that Remy may’ve stepped out first, but Papoose isn’t exactly innocent either. While fans argue over who fumbled the bag harder, receipts are being posted, deleted, and reposted like it’s an Instagram civil war.

One thing’s clear: this divorce isn’t cute. It’s giving TikTok drama with grown-folk consequences. The more they talk, the more the illusion of that perfect hip-hop marriage crumbles like stale Bodega bread.

🧃 The Streets Are Tired of Remy & Pap, But We’re Still Tuning In

Let’s be real. We wanted to believe in their love. Remy and Papoose had a whole fanbase rooting for them. But now? It’s giving “Who is this man, and why is he on your benefits package?”

This whole saga is a reminder that vibes and loyalty isn’t enough without effort, respect, and some grown-up communication. Remy Ma & Papoose’s marriage turned into a business arrangement, then into a tabloid novella.

And Clarissa? She might be winning in the ring, but she just walked into a PR beatdown. Unprovoked.

🎤 TL;DR:

  • Remy Ma said she’s been carrying the whole marriage — bills, insurance, the works.

  • Papoose allegedly got caught slipping and simping.

  • Clarissa Shields is being too loud with a man who still isn’t divorced.

  • Twitter/X, TikTok, and the shade blogs are watching like it’s Season 3 of Love & Hip-Hop: Federal Tax Edition.

Remy Ma & Papoose story isn’t just gossip — it’s a case study, codependency, and what happens when private Ls go hella public. 💅🏾

Timbaland Presents “Maestro and The Machine” Immersive Art at Mercer Labs with Roy Nachum

Timbaland's arrival at Mercer Labs for Maestro and the MachineTimbaland Presents “Maestro and The Machine” Immersive Art at Mercer Labs with Roy Nachum: A Night of Sonic Innovation, Art, and Star Power

New York, NY – A groundbreaking evening unfolded at Mercer Labs as legendary producer Timbaland presents immersive art “Maestro and The Machine”. Timbaland’s immersive artistic collaboration was with celebrated visual artist Roy Nachum. The event blurred the lines between music, technology, and contemporary art, drawing a star-studded crowd. Mercer Labs igniting a media frenzy that proved this was not just an art show — it was a cultural reset.

Held at the futuristic Mercer Labs Museum of Art and Technology, the venue was transformed into a sensory playground where sound and sight collided. Known for pushing boundaries in music production, Timbaland‘s latest venture paired his innovative sound design with Nachum’s emotionally resonant, often tactile, visual storytelling. Together, they built an experience that explored the essence of human connection in a digital world.

Maestro and the Machine at Mercer Labs

A Tech-Driven Performance Art Installation

“Maestro and The Machine” was not your typical gallery night. The central installation featured an AI-driven soundscape controlled in real-time by Timbaland himself — part conductor, part coder. Nachum’s beautiful visual works complemented the music with dynamic projections, textured canvases, and braille-integrated pieces that engaged all senses.

The exhibit invited attendees to interact with both the visual and audio elements, reinforcing the theme of man versus machine — or rather, man with machine.

The guest list read like a who’s who of music, fashion, and art culture. Notable attendees included Swizz Beatz, Pharrell Williams, La La Anthony, Teyana Taylor, ASAP Ferg, Justine Skye, Flau’Jae Johnson, Lish 2X and fashion icon Law Roach. All of whom came to witness Roy & Timbaland’s genre-defying brilliance firsthand.

Roy Nachum: The Artistic Soul of the Night

Nachum, known for his past collaborations with celebrities such as Rihanna and Jay-Z, brought a deeply philosophical touch to the evening. His work often questions perception, ego, and societal blindness. In Roy’s collaboration with Timbaland, Nachum’s art was a mirror to the machine. Abstract yet intimate. Synthetic yet soulful. Below is a video that shows a bit of the immersive experience with artist Roy Nachum.

A Magical Night That Redefined the Art of Collaboration

Timbaland described the evening as “a new form of storytelling — one that speaks in frequencies and feelings.” What a seamless blend of technology and creativity. “Maestro and The Machine” reminded the world that innovation is most powerful when it feels human. A reminder that art and music still have the power to surprise, challenge, and connect us all.
