Beanie Sigel was spotted in the studio with Ye. Along with them, the confirmed list of people that have appeared for a song include The Game, Vic Mensa, Travis Scott, and Pusha T, among others.
Sigel and Ye have a strange relationship with money. Ye wants to give the Philly rapper $50 million to thank him for coming up with his nickname, but he won’t take it. Sigel explained his reasoning for why he does not want the money to TMZ.
“I did name him that, but as far as his business mind and where he took it, Kanye worked hard for this. Kanye don’t owe me nothing. I don’t know if I would take a number. Because you give somebody a fish today, he gon’ eat for the day. If you teach somebody how to fish, he’s gon’ eat forever. He’s gon’ teach his family how to fish.”
It might be possible that this is a compromise. That way, West feels like he is paying Sigel back, and Sigel does not feel like he is robbing West. In the end, both parties win.
Just because they have come in for a session does not necessarily mean that they are going to feature in the upcoming album. Ye is known for reworking songs, and even cutting artists out altogether. Two examples of this is when he dropped Chris Brown and Soulja Boy from records on the original Donda album. There is no way to know for certain whether the songs recorded in that booth will ever see the light of day. The only thing that we can do is just wait for music to drop; wait for the album to be released.
