Bobby Shmurda Hints at Co-project with Migos

Bobby Shmurda talks ShMigos co-project with the Migos

Bobby Shmurda went on Good Wholesome Fun to talk about a new co-project with Migos. During the show, he spoke about “all types of different music coming out.” Among them were “Shmurda shit,” “ShMigos shit,” and more. You can watch the whole video below:

The first rumors of a Migos’ and Bobby Shmurda’s collaborative effort date back to 2015. At the time, the artists planned to release ShMigo Gang mixtape. The plans were interrupted by Bobby’s incarceration.

Four years later, in 2019, Quavo posted a tweet mentioning the upcoming artists’ co-project: “Jus Talked Bobby Shmurda Lil Bro In Great Spirits Bout To Touch Turf Soon!!! SHMIGO ALERT 2020!!!” The year date postponed since Bobby got out only in February 2021.

Shmurda served a 7-year sentence in New York’s Clinton Correctional Facility. His charges included murder, attempted murder, assault, and drug dealing. He is now under community supervision until his sentence is entirely over on February 23rd, 2026.

As Bobby Shmurda also mentioned in a Billboard interview, he got a car ride out of prison from Quavo. Following Shmurda’s release, Quavo promised to “personally…go pick up Bobby Shmurda” and “let him show…how I’m gonna pick him up, yessir.”
