Offset Claims Quality Control Founder Blackballled Him After New Lawsuit

The battle between former Migos member Offset & their record label Quality Control exposes behind-the-scenes drama. After filing a lawsuit against Quality Control, Offset claims that label owner P is blackballing the successful Georgia rapper. P’s response referenced a similar case that Offset & the Migos filed years ago. “The last lawsuit…filed publicly and dismissed quietly,” the label executive tweeted before expressing even more frustration with Offset.

Offset responded online with, “”N***as act like Im the problem I paid millions to get my rights back. N***a you blackballed me I ain’t said shit one time homie I ain’t spoke to you in 2 years now I drop and you want ya name on my credit?” All of this drama taking place on Twitter is coming right after Offset dropped his first single since the split, “54321:”

The Initial Lawsuit That Caused Friction

While Quavo & Takeoff are still members of QC, as a newly reshaped group, Offset looks to continue solo under Motown Records without his former label. The lawsuit Offset filed resulted from his new Baby Keem-produced single “54321” mistakenly labeled as a Quality Control release. The former Migos star reportedly bought his rights as a solo artist from the label already & feels the mistake was intentional. With Offset releasing his 2nd single since leaving the group tonight, Aug 26, you can easily understand his point-of-view.

Offset’s Solo Career Moving Forward

Although it’s sad to see this saga ending, Offset still has a bright future. “54321” is a success for both Offset & Baby Keem, with the song’s video already amassing almost 3 million. Additionally, he’s getting ready to drop a new single called “Code” with Moneybagg Yo at midnight tonight. Moneybagg & Offset recently also joined forces with Trippie Redd on the song “Big 14” earlier this month. With Offset likely getting ready to drop a whole project, are you waiting for solo Offset music?

André 3000 Links With Supreme In Latest Fashion Endeavor

AndrĂ© 3000, legendary member of Souther Hip-Hop duo Outkast, made headlines after announcing his latest artistic endeavor. However, many of Three Stacks’ fans will be surprised to learn this latest project does not involve new music. Instead, the rap icon announced a collaboration with fashion brand Supreme.

André 3000 and Supreme Link Up

The announcement comes ahead of Supreme’s new fall/winter 2022 collection. To promote the upcoming drop, AndrĂ© 3000 appeared in a series of videos posted by Supreme on social media. The videos feature the rapper expressing his thoughts on what it means to create art. He spends time discussing the need he feels to create as an artist. He also compares creating to necessities for himself, “If I ain’t creating nothing, I don’t feel good…at a certain point, you gotta feed yourself.” Many fans found it odd that AndrĂ© 3000 decided to feed himself creatively through fashion. However, to those who followed his career closely, they would know this choice was not at all unexpected.

AndrĂ© 3000’s History with Fashion

Three Stacks always found himself tied into the fashion world. His sometimes outrageous outfits caused many headlines during his peak fame in the early-mid 2000s. He likewise referenced fashion personalities in his music, like Marc Jacobs. However, he was not a mere admirer of the industry. This Supreme collaboration is not his first attempt to create his line of products.

Hardcore Outkast fans might recall that from around 06-09, AndrĂ© 3000 became involved in several non-musical creative pursuits. One of these pursuits was a failed fashion line. His Benjamin Bixby line did not fair well. The line could not find an audience and swiftly became a footnote on the rapper’s resume. Fortunately, this setback did not deter him from pursuing his ambitions through a new medium. This perseverance also served as a subject in the videos posted by Supreme.

Why Fans Should Be Excited

Fans of the rapper might be upset that AndrĂ©’s creative hunger is being filled via a fashion collaboration. They shouldn’t fret. AndrĂ© 3000 has become much more active creatively than he used to be. Along with this Supreme collab, he recorded a verse for the song “Life of the Party” for Ye’s Donda album. In an interview with legendary producer Rick Rubin, Three Stacks talked about his lack of drive to pursue new projects. Thankfully this drive seems to be slowly but surely returning to the rapper. Perhaps if the fashion collaboration turns out well, he’ll once again feel the musical itch. Alternatively, his fashion success could blossom into something bigger than anyone expected, like with Kanye’s Yeezy brand.

No matter what, AndrĂ© 3000 is a true artist, and anything he chooses to do will undoubtedly be him. Whether or not his endeavor pays off, fans are lucky that his creative hunger is being fed, and fans’ hunger for new music might also be provided.

Former Laker Lamar Odom Locked Out Of Social Media Accounts: Loses Money On Endorsement Deals

Former Las Angeles Laker and two-time NBA champion Lamar Odom claimed his former management had locked him out of his social media accounts. Lamar Odom, who played in the NBA from 1999 through 2013, made a shocking allegation against his former management team. This bizarre hijacking follows Lamar Odom’s switch to a new management team after numerous issues with his previous team. TMZ reported that Odom claims that the reason for locking him out of his accounts was dissatisfaction with the switch by the previous firm’s management. However, the primary concern for Odom stems from the lucrative endorsement deals he now loses out on due to his inability to access his accounts.

Lamar Odom’s success on the basketball court makes him a successful brand ambassador for numerous companies. Often, these companies require a social media post as part of the brand deal. As a result, the former player reportedly loses around 8,000 dollars per post. Given the number of endorsements, Odom is a part of the former Sixth Man of the Year and could potentially miss out on over one hundred thousand dollars.

As NBA fans are undoubtedly aware, this is not the first time the former Kobe Bryant teammate has alleged mishandling his social media. Two years ago, Odom alleged that his ex-girlfriend, Sabrina Parr, acted similarly. Following this allegation, a brief feud started between the two.

A Life of Hardships for Lamar Odom

Lamar Odom faced numerous difficulties throughout his life. Many recall his battles with drugs and alcohol. Odom battled addiction following his NBA career. This culminated in a hospitalization following a cocaine binge. He took his recovery seriously and worked hard toward overcoming addiction.

Lamar Odom faced many hardships both on and off the basketball court. However, the former Laker worked towards improvement, never allowing the difficulties to overwhelm him. Whether that be opponents, injuries, or substance abuse, it is for this reason that despite this latest financial setback, it will not stop him. It remains to be seen how this issue will resolve, but it seems likely Lamar Odom will continue to persevere.

Master P Adds “Ice Cream Man” To His Memoir As He Launches His Own Snow Cone Brand

Master P continues his success in the food industry by releasing a delectable frozen treat! The cold concoction called New Orleans Style Snow Cones has different flavors like blue raspberry, cherry, grape, green apple, lemonade, orangesicle, and bubblegum. Master P has other products like Soldier and Rap Snacks, noodles, and cereal. His love for food stems from his interest in the industry. He told TMZ Hip-Hop that “companies like Kellogg’s and Kraft rooted themselves in the business and have revenue streams that outlast entertainment careers in music, sports, and movies.”

Master P hopes his business ventures will show the youth how innovative products can take them further than just talent. The former rapper has 30 years of food expertise under his belt. Additionally, he’s partnering up with Snoop Dogg for a special food project. Although the menu is still in the works, Master P says this collaboration has been set up for years.

“In order to build economic empowerment, it starts with ownership. We need more diversity in these national chain stores. Product outweighs talent and it’s ok to have more than one product. A lot of these companies start small and build their businesses on family names,” he says.

The Washington Post reported last year that Master P is the Chief Executive of P. Miller Enterprises. This endeavor has seen the launch of  common grocery items products like ramen noodles, flour, rice, breakfast cereal, frying mix, and other pantry staples. He told BET last year,

“You measure success by what you can give, not what you have. That’s why my life has grown and evolved. I’m happier helping others than all the other things that I do. So, I guess that’s where it comes from. It comes from watching my people hurt and seeing that I can be a blessing to others. We’ve been doing this for 25 years, and it’s a blessing to be able to give millions back to the community and the culture.”

He also told BET that his love for food comes from his bloodline:

” How I got into it is through my grandfather, Claude Miller,” he explains. “He was a Vietnam veteran, and he cooked for the military people. And then when he came back home, in the projects in the community, everybody always ate at our house.”

Kanye West Retail Store, YZYSPLY, Coming Soon…Or At Least He Hopes So!

Yeezy does it again! The entrepreneur who has conquered the music, shoe, and apparel industries has now set his sights on a Kanye West retail store. He recently filed a trademark for the YZYSPLY store and is laying the groundwork to get it up and running.

What To Expect From The New Kanye West Retail Store

Ye and his team have set the foundation for a retail store, online ordering services, and online store services. The name is inspired by a website that fans are already acquainted with. “Yezzy Supply” is a site that the artist uses to sell limited-release items. But the new trademark seems to be setting the stage for something bigger. Including an actual store.

The filing includes every category of clothing you can imagine. From undergarments to accessories. As well as beachwear and infant wear. With a lot of creative room to make changes and add new items. This is a natural progression since his 2020 deal with GAP. Their first drop made up of mostly black items, including his full face mask was released last year. And it was announced that YZY GAP has a partnership with Balenciaga as well.

Everything seems to be coming full circle for Ye. Because in a 2015 interview with Vanity Fair he spoke about opening his own store. And how it would be accomplishing a lifelong dream to open the YZYSPLY store. “So even though we do really amazing sales online, my dream is just to have my own store. And to have multiples of it.”

All fans can do now is simply wait for more on the Kanye West retail store. He has not made any comments on the situation just yet. But we are sure he is going to wait and make an announcement in true Ye fashion. Where do you think the first location will be?

Wiz Khalifa Launches ‘MISTERCAP’ Psilocybin-Based Health Brand

Wiz Khalifa is working with Red Light Holland, a Canadian company, to launch another brand for the Pennsylvania-bred icon. The partnership is working on developing natural mushrooms that are non-psychedelic & promote wellness under the MISTERCAP brand.

The mushrooms are developing out in the Netherlands & will release in Canada, Europe, and The United States. Red Light Holland’s CEO Todd Shapiro looks pretty excited about this joint venture & speaks highly on the future of MISTERCAP. The plan is allegedly for the brand to roll out psychedelic mushroom products once it finishes slowly becoming decriminalized throughout the western world.

More Details From Red Light Holland’s CEO

This new brand launch is exciting & beneficial for all parties. Red Light Holland’s CEO Todd Shapiro states, “We’ve been working with Wiz Khalifa and his team to collaborate and create a brand that encompasses our joint belief for the affordable and equitable access to naturally occurring psilocybin responsibly.” On paper, there’s no way this doesn’t become a successful investment based on the rate of psilocybin decriminalization.

As far as why the company chose Wiz as a partner, Shapiro continued by saying, “Wiz Khalifa is a global icon with tremendous reach who is uniquely positioned to help us spread the message and end the stigma surrounding psilocybin while focusing on mental health and wellness.” It’s truly a match made in heaven for both parties.

Wiz Khalifa’s Latest Music Moves

Overall, Wiz Khalifa does very well for himself as an entrepreneur outside of music. MISTERCAP is another business venture in his resumé alongside others like his Khalifa Kush & HotBox.

Outside of this, Wiz recently re-released his classic “Taylor Allderdice” mixtape on streaming platforms in April. He’s a high school graduate who shares the same name as the project. Wiz Khalifa launches business moves while still functioning as a Hip-Hop legend. In short, he’s an example for many young artists in the game. Are you ready for more fresh material from the Taylor Gang rapper? And will you try some of these new non-psychedelic mushrooms?
