Those associated with the late King Von are vigilant in protecting his name. His cousin, rapper Calboy, has been the most recent to disagree with DaBaby over “disrespect.” However, Baby snapped back at Calboy yesterday after making a few comments on Twitter. Due to his association with NBA Youngboy, Calboy doesn’t like DaBaby’s appearance on Von’s posthumous album, “What It Means To Be King.”.
DaBaby jumped into Say Cheese’s comment section and continued his beef with Calboy. Aside from posting several laughing emojis, the “21” rapper left a separate comment. He wrote,
“@Calboy Do sumn.” Calboy responded, “You don’t know my body yet.”
The Collaboration Between DaBaby and NBA Youngboy Was Disrespectful To Von
DaBaby’s involvement with Von’s album after dropping “Better Than You” with Youngboy felt disrespectful to Calboy. It all began after Youngboy dissed Von and his right-hand man Lil Durk; however, it didn’t end there. Youngboy also took aim at Gucci Mane. On the song ‘Publicity Stunt,’ Gucci hits back against Youngboy’s song “I Hate YoungBoy,” according to FMHipHop.
While rap beef has been rampant, DaBaby is playing a neutral role. The “Bop” rapper shared his opinion in an Instagram post in which he clapped back at Durk’s friend, rapper Meme600. “I played it cool cuz y’all ni***s wanna make it bout y’all Patna & ion speak on the dead cuz I’m on nat frfr,” He wrote, “Every day, I wake up ready to teach me a ni**a like.”
“So Long Live em , @kingvonfrmdao GOT my respect, he stood on business no excuses, it was just another ni**a there ready to stand on business too.”
DaBaby has not received a response from Calboy so far.
