Drake Becomes The Latest Artist To Be Targeted By The Crowd

Fans have been pushing the envelope lately with musicians. Artists from Bebe Rexha to Pink have been nearly hit, actually hit with objects or slapped on stage. The latest victim is iconic rapper Drake. At the Canadian artist’s first Detroit concert in nearly five years, he ducked for cover after he was pelted with bras, shoes and hats thrown on stage.

Drake is On “Titty Clean-up Duty”

Aubrey Drake Graham asked the audience to stop throwing bras at him while he is performing. Even when he is not trying to be funny he can’t help it as Graham says, “Please stop throwing bras up here. I feel like I’m on clean-up duty tonight… titty clean-up duty.” The songwriter was hit by a phone at a previous show in Chicago, Illinois. It was Drake’s first show of his “It’s All a Blur tour.” The “Miss Me” rapper was singing Ginuwine’s “So Anxious” as a phone was thrown from the crowd. Luckily the phone only hit his hand and then went flying off the stage.

This dangerous trend has been sweeping concerts recently. Pop singer Bebe Rexha had to get stitches after a fan hit her in the face with a phone at a New York City show. Country star Kelsea Ballerini was hit as well with an alleged bracelet at a performance in Idaho. Plus superstar Pink had a fan’s dead mother’s ashes tossed on stage at British Summer Time Hyde Festival. The “Try” singer responded by saying, “Is this your mom? I don’t know how I feel about this.” Pop star Ava Max was slapped by a man while she was performing in Los Angeles. The singer mentioned on Twitter, “He slapped me so hard that he scratched the inside of my eye.” All of these crazy incidents happened within the last month.
