Fetty Wap Stage Dive Gone Wrong TrapQueens Injured

Two girls were injured at the Billboard Hot 100 festival at Jones Beach Sunday (Aug.23) afternoon after rap star Fetty Wap leapt from the roughly 5-foot-tall stage into a crowd of fans, according to Newsday.

Both of the girls’ legs were pinned under a steel fence that was set up as a barrier between the stage and the crowd.

The large crowd of fans pushed toward and mobbed the ‘Trap Queen” rapper to get near and capture cellphone video of him. The large crowd push led to a 2-minute frenzy in which the rapper’s security detail also jumped into the crowd to get him out.

Medics were called the leg of one of the girls was wrapped, and the leg of the other girl was iced and they called the parents of the injured.

Wap returned to the stage to apologize to the crowd and finish up his song.
