Mac Miller’s drug supplier is officially responsible for his death, according to XXL. Reports state that Miller passed away due to accidentally overdosing on fake, fentanyl-laced pills.
In recent court documents, Miller’s drug supplier Stephen Andrew Walter has entered a guilty plea with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California on the distribution of fentanyl charge.
He takes responsibility for the death of Miller, who passed away on September 7, 2018.
Walter also faces up to 20 years in prison. Subsequently, he will have an endless amount of supervised release, and a fine of $1 million. In addition, he must make a mandatory special assessment of $100 and a court-imposed term of supervised release that is no less than three years.
Two other individuals, Ryan Michael Reavis, who is facing fraud and drug and gun possession charges, and Cameron James Pettit, who faces one count of distribution of a controlled substance, are also accused in Miller’s passing.
In 2018, 26-year-old Mac Miller died after an accidental overdose. It’s due to a mixture of alcohol, cocaine, and fentanyl.
Legal documents state that Walter told Reavis to sell fentanyl to Pettit through counterfeit oxycodone pills. Walter knew about the dangers of the fake pills when giving them to Reavis to distribute to Pettit.
Pettit then delivered the drug to Mac Miller, who overdosed after ingesting the fentanyl-laced pills and other substances.
This news comes right after Miller’s Faces hit streaming platforms last week.
