Rihanna Teases Her Fans Yet Again
It has been five years, one month, and twenty-nine days. Five years, one month, and twenty-nine days since Rihanna has dropped an album.
But who’s counting? As an unofficial yet official spokesperson for the ‘Navy,’ SIS WE ARE TIRED! Yes, I am one of the fans who constantly spam her Instagram comment section. “Where is the album?” And Rihanna being a true Pisces, claps back at me every time. Since the beginning, Rihanna has solidified her stance as one of the most iconic pop stars of all time.
For example, Rihanna has earned 14 number one hits on the Billboard Hot 100. Therefore, it should be no surprise that ‘Anti’ (her last album) has spent five full years on the Billboard 200. Hence, making her the first Black female artist to reach this milestone in the chart’s history!

To show gratitude for achieving an accomplishment, Rihanna posted a collage of photos and videos. Captioned with— “Grateful to the highest for putting die-hard supporters in my circle 🙏🏿 #Anti #WomensHistoryMonth 💪🏿 Congrats to everyone that contributed to this era, thank you, team.” Thousands of followers took to Instagram to comment. But there was one comment, in particular, that didn’t receive a clap back from Rihanna. “Celebrate by releasing a song!!” one follower wrote, with Rihanna responding with, “I think I should. Just 1 tho lol.” Like girl. Please do not play with our emotions like that, do not do that!

As a result, social media went into a frenzy. Including many blogs reporting on Rihanna’s comment. When Hollywood Unlocked’s Instagram page asked many of their followers to chose which female rapper they would like to see Rihanna work with, it caused more speculation. Options were Saweetie, Doja Cat, Asian Doll, Yung Miami, Cardi B, and Megan Thee Stallion. At this point, Rihanna was on the roll cause sis hopped in the comment section and responded with, “Careshaaaaaaaa.” Caresha is Yung Miami of the City Girls. And just like the rest of us, she was beyond excited too.
In either case, it doesn’t matter to me. I want an album from Rihanna because nobody can quite do it like ‘Bad Gal Riri’ herself.
