Saweetie To Partner With Netflix For Sex-Positive Comedy Special

The “Icy Girl” herself, Saweetie, is making major moves as she snags a comedy special in partnership with Netflix. The topic? Sex, dating, and telling it like it is.

Staying Sexy and Getting Real

In the past, Netflix has introduced several shows and specials that focus on sexuality, like Sex Education, Sex/Life, and Sex, Explained. Similarly, latest installment Sex: Unzipped, will be a comedy special focus on “sex positivity.” In addition to Saweetie, the comedy special will feature several “sex experts.” Rounding out the cast will be celebrities of a variety of genders and sexualities, like Dominique Jackson, Ian Karmel, Trixie Mattel and Joel Kim Booster. In light of Netflix’s popular Sex Education series, this podcast will focus on sexual topics that have teens confused.

Saweetie’s Words Of Wisdom

Saweetie has been open about her sex life with former boyfriend, Migos rapper Quavo. Certainly, fans have been all ears. In the new special, her audience can expect to hear relatable, honest insights from the rapper on sex and dating.

“As a maturing woman, when you start to get experience, you don’t know your body is capable of certain things,” Saweetie told industry staple Justin LaBoy on his show “Respectfully Justin” earlier this year. After that, Saweetie recounted her own embarrassing sex stories, and urged young female listeners to remember their bodies are normal. Above all, if her candor with LaBoy is any indication, Sex: Unzipped’s content should be interesting to say the least.

Securing The Bag

Since hitting the scene in 2016, Saweetie has endured it all. From controversial verses to public breakups, the Icy Girl has defied the odds and continued a meteoric rise to the top. In short, Saweetie’s been bagging magazine cover after magazine cover, on top of  major deals with McDonalds and M.A.C. Cosmetics. Why not add a sex-positive comedy special to the list?
