Cardi B Said “I NEVER F*CKED A BROKE N*GGA AGAIN” After Catching Ex-Boyfriend Steal $20K During Stripper Days

It’s no secret rapper Cardi B has lived a crazy life. From dancing on the pole to hitting the stage, Cardi has definitely experienced some insane moments through her journey. The Bronx rapper reveals she once had $20,000 stolen from her while she wasn’t home.

According to HipHop DX, the 29-year-old rap artist sat down with Angela Yee on the last episode of the Lip Service podcast where she discussed a robbery that left her traumatized. She tells Yee she came home one day and all her money was gone.

A disturbing moment in the interview.

The W.A.P. artist stated she used to say, ‘I’m 20 years old and I got $20,000. And that just always made me hyped up ’cause I worked hard for it.” Cardi told the girls on Lip Service she shook her a** real hard for it and then came home one day with only $1000 left in her stash. She said, “I’m counting the money and everything, I’m about to put it in my stash and I’ve got like $1,000.” The rapper admitted she was going insane calling him as he went a whole day ignoring her. “I’m traumatized. This n*gga gave me back like $4,000, talking about, ‘The weed, I got the package…’ It traumatized me. I can’t. See, I’m almost getting shaky.”

Cardi tells Lip Service she worked for her $20k before any surgeries and that was the breaking point of their relationship.

The “Hot Sh*t” rapper admits she got her a** done when she was about 21. She says she always had big breasts, but she was so skinny so she had to work extra hard as a dancer to make her money. After questioning her ex about taking off to California for some weed, she claims he said he was not getting an ounce he was getting pounds. She continued to express that she felt she had to get rid of him. She did not want to risk more money stolen. “I used to pray to God like, ‘God, please let me stop now, I just don’t wanna like this n*gga anymore. Like, let me move on.”

Cardi B Gets on Live Tipsy, Friend Kick Her Out

Sometimes a friend has to be the voice of reason. Cardi could clearly attest to that after yesterday’s drunk & chaotic IG live session.

Cardi B firstly rose to fame by posting unfiltered videos of her thoughts on Instagram. Years later, she was still using the platform to self-express. Bardi Gang had always supported their faves antics, but recently a live session ended before it could even really begin.

Cardi’s Short Celebration

This weekend, Cardi got on Instagram live to celebrate the drop of her new single “Hot Shit,” featuring Kanye West and Lil Durk. In a video from the live, one could clearly hear Cardi shouting out her two collaborators.

“I want to say thank you, Kanye. Thank you, Lil Durk. Deadass,” she began. “I haven’t had the chance to hit up Lil Durk and Kanye, but–” just before Cardi could finish her sentence, she was swiftly interrupted by her friend.

“She gotta go,” the unnamed woman said before ending the live stream. Of course, this was no easy task with a dominant personality like the “Up” artist. After some struggle, the friend agreed to let the IG live continue so drunk Cardi could say her thanks. “I just want to say I’m thankful.” Cardi explained, to which an exhausted friend replied, “Alright, say your thanks and then get off live.”

In an entirely expected turn, Cardi ignored her friend’s pleas. She continued the live with another companion, letting the friend hold the phone while Cardi danced to her new single. As things were getting a little PG-13 with a car seat twerk session, the IG stream was finally cut short. The aforementioned friend took the phone and ended things for good this time. “End the live,” she said. Obviously, this mystery girl is the level head of the group.

“Hot Shit” is currently charting in the Daily Global Apple Music at #8. The song by Cardi B features Durk and Kanye, also presenting a production by Tay Keith and BanBwoi. You can stream it now on YouTube, Apple Music, Spotify, and Tidal.

Cardi Debuts A Snippet Of “Hot Sh*t”

The Bronx Native Goes On Instagram Live To Discuss Her New Song

An hour before “Hot Sh*t” officially dropped, the 29-year-old went live on Instagram. During her live, she revealed that she was unsure about dropping the song. She reportedly held onto it for three years, making it older than “WAP” which was released in 2020.

However, she seemed sure that, despite her reluctance, she made a good call. Cardi explained that the song appeals to many different types of people.

“It’s masculine, it’s great for the clubs, it’s great for the b*****s,” she said.

Cardi Credits Legendary Reggae Artist For His Song Sample In “Hot Sh*t”

“Hot Sh*t” is Cardi’s first single since 2021, when she released her hit single “Up.” She credited Jamaican icon Bunny Wailer, who originally wrote “Electric Boogie” as she sampled the iconic song in her track. “Electric Boogie” also known as “Electric Slide” was later released by Jamaican singer Marcia Griffiths.
