Drake Drops Hilarious ‘Honestly, Nevermind’ Merchandise

Without any warning, Drake finally drops his merchandise for the highly successful Honestly, Nevermind album released earlier this summer season. This “Huge Fan Of Your Old Stuff” collection from Drake features tons of apparel that can be purchased today here.

Tons of the items contain funny phrases/references meant to mock fans that compare his newer music with his classic releases. For example, there are designs with his older album covers being covered with the “Huge Fan Of Your Old Stuff” phrase written all over. It’s a genius way for the Canadian superstar to market his brand & troll his doubters. Take a look at the new merchandise below:

Latest Success With Honestly, Nevermind

Drake delivered one of the hottest albums of the summer so far with his new dance album. According to the rapper, it was inspired by the late visionary designer Virgil Abloh who passed away towards the end of last year. Despite not having a proper rollout or announcement, Honestly, Nevermind is still one of the best-selling albums of 2022 so far. The album resulted in earning Drake the credit of being the 5th artist in history with at least eleven #1 albums. With him showing no signs of retiring soon, it’ll be interesting to see how many more records he breaks before it’s all over.

Best 2022 Dance Album? Drake vs. Beyoncé

One of the key aspects of Drake’s Honestly, Nevermind is his exploration of the Dance/House genre of sounds. Beyoncé most notably took the same approach on her new album Renaissance which was released earlier today, June 29th. Both albums have drawn some comparisons from fans debating who did the style better than the other. With that said, who do you think released the best Dance songs this year? Beyoncé Has Two Albums Coming After “Renaissance: Act 1”

At midnight, June 29th, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter will officially drop her new studio album, “Renaissance: Act 1.”

Unfortunately for Beyoncé, the album ended up leaking days ago & revealed vital details that were meant to stay secret. Most importantly, after rumors circulating for weeks, “Renaissance” appears to be the first album in a 3-part trilogy.

She says in a note found in leaked physical copies, “this three-act project was recorded over three years during the Pandemic. A time to be still but also a time I found to be most creative.” A dominant year is shaping up for the iconic Queen B.

“Renaissance” Details & Collaborations

Due to news about the album leaking, we know all the musicians from the tracklist now. The album contains 16 tracks in total & some have curious titles. Beyoncé worked on “Renaissance” and the other two confirmed trilogy pieces, primarily during the Pandemic.

Unsurprisingly, Beyoncé goes out of her way to collaborate with tons of stars & talented artists. Some key contributors include Drake, Jay Z, Skrillex, Pharrell, Tems, Lucky Daye & many more. One wonders if both upcoming albums will be just as lengthy & full of content as “Renaissance.”

The Thrive Despite The Early Leaks

Someone as huge of a star as Beyoncé shouldn’t typically experience their music leaking online. While it would’ve been exciting for her to surprise fans with the announcement of an entire album trilogy, she’s still going to succeed at delivering the whole sonic & visual experience for her hive of fans. I don’t think there’s any way she’d sell less than 100,00 units the first week.

Realistically, Beyoncé will probably sell over 200,000 units in its first week of release. Are you excited about the new album coming tonight from the Texas-raised vocalist? Read more of FM Hip-Hop’s featured articles today.

Beyonce Drops Album After Album And Hit After Hit

Knowles-Carter’s last solo album, Lemonade, dropped in April 2016. She dropped a 65-minute film of the same title via HBO to accompany the legendary body of work.

The album spawned the hit songs “Formation,” “Hold Up,” “Daddy Lessons,” “All Night,” and many more.

Two years later, in June 2018, the ground-breaking artist released a joint album with her husband, multi-platinum-selling rapper and businessman, Jay-Z. They titled the album, Everything Is Love, and it spawned the summertime hit “Ape Sh*t.”

The following year, in April 2019, the Houston native released a live album titled  Homecoming: The Live Album. It was based on the concert film she dropped via Netflix about her riveting 2018 Coachella performance.

A few months later, in July 2019, Knowles-Carter appeared on that year’s Lion King album as she voiced Nala in the film. Then, in 2020, she dropped another spectacular visual companion to the Lion King album titled Black Is King. Black Is King featured the hit singles “Already,” featuring Shatta Wale and Major Lazer, and “Brown Skin Girl,” featuring Saint Jhn and Wizkid.

Lastly, in 2021, the singer released the track “Be Alive” which is on the soundtrack for the award-winning film King Richard starring award-winning actor Will Smith. She performed the song at the 2022 Oscars ceremony.
