Chris Brown and Usher are often pinned against each other for their dancing and music, but today that rivalry went to a new level.

Birthday Bashes

An alleged altercation between Chris Brown and Usher occurred last night at the “Forever” singer’s 34th birthday party. The event was a surprise thrown by longtime industry peer and friend Usher Raymond.

According to a report by Hollywood Unlocked, the two R&B singers came to blows at Skate Rock City in Las Vegas. An unidentified source says that things went left after Chris began arguing with Teyana Taylor. Usher then attempted to diffuse the situation, which resulted in name-calling between Brown and Usher. Allegedly, this escalated into a physical fight outside the party between Usher and Chris, in addition to his security. Partygoers also claim Usher returned inside with a bloody nose.

Currently, neither Usher nor Chris Brown has spoken about the rumored fight.

The report was particularly shocking to fans of both singers because, prior to the news, plenty of videos of the duo enjoying themselves already began circulating.

Chris Vs. Usher

Chris Brown and Usher have been sharing headlines in recent news due to fans pressing for a Verzuz battle. Brown himself expressed his desire for the battle on an episode of Drink Champs last summer.

The rumored tension is even more baffling when you factor in Usher’s support for the Verzuz battle. In a recent Big Boy’s Neighborhood interview, the famed vocalist appeared enthusiastic about the possibility.

“Me and Chris would kill the world if we ever did something together like that. I’m not saying it’s Verzuz, but I’m just saying this, if that ever happens, it would be one of the biggest things that anybody has ever experienced in entertainment,” Usher said. “Because I love Chris — I don’t like him, I don’t like his music, I love his music, I love him.”

Since the initial report of the fight, two clips have dropped in development. Firstly, a clip from TMZ showing Chris Brown visibly upset and arguing with Teyana Taylor. The video then shows Usher trying to calm the Virginia artist before abruptly ending. While this doesn’t prove a fight occurred, it corroborates the story’s segment involving Teyana. 

Another video, posted by Usher on his Instagram story, shows the 44-year-old speaking to fans about his upcoming set at the Lovers and Friends Fest. In the clip, there’s no mention of the fight whatsoever. Although this was put up hours after the Hollywood Unlocked report, Usher appeared calm, collected, and uninjured.

For now, it’s all a bit mysterious. With Chris Brown’s reputation in the entertainment world already on the rocks, it’s telling neither artist has come out to clear things up. Of course, time will tell.

However, the “Thotiana” rapper denies he is the father. Now, Blueface wants a DNA test to prove the child is his.

Congratulations are being sent to the dysfunctional couple, but some are frightened at what this may do to the already horrifying relationship.

Rock Shared The News On Instagram

The 22-year-old shared she was having a bundle of joy in her Instagram stories on Friday. Rock showed three at-home pregnancy tests.

Gushes Over Her Soon To Be Family

She was excitingly walking through the halls for a check-up in a video and was seen asking her physician if she could hear the baby’s heartbeat. The social media influencer gushed over having a family and a crowded baby shower.

Blueface Goes Off On Twitter, Preaching The Baby Is Not His

Blueface posted on Twitter that he is done with Instagram star, and it is “strictly business” between the pair. The Los Angeles native stands firm on his statement that the child is not his.

Blueface calls out Chrisean, saying, “Rock has had encounters with 10 different men in the last year until I see DNA test then it’s not mine.” 

Blueface Welcomed Baby #2 Last Summer

The rapper, born Javaughn J . Porter, has two kids with ex-girlfriend Jaidyn Alexis. His baby girl appeared in the world last summer. That pregnancy came out in a box in front of a Christmas tree. It took Porter a moment to realize, but then it clicked, and he hugged her.

Is It Shocking He Is Not Happy? Not Really

It is not very shocking that the “Thotiana” rapper isn’t happy about the news as he and Rock have been in domestic violence incidents. Also, the couple is on and off constantly, and Blueface disrespects Chrisean Rock publicly. He has even fought her father… shall I go on?

Whether Blueface is the father or not, hopefully, Chrisean Rock will have a safe pregnancy that results in a healthy baby.

Doja Cat And “Stranger Things” Collide When The Singers DMs To Noah Schnapp Are Shared

“Stranger Things” Season 4 is all the hype right now. It’s all everyone is talking about. But right now that is not why the show is getting attention. Recently Doja Cat and Stranger Things have come head to head thanks to the “Say So’ singer’s DMs being shared by the show’s teen star, Noah Schnapp.

What Is Going On Between Doja Cat and “Stranger Things”?

Apparently, Doja Cat reached out to Noah Schnapp in an effort to get in contact with his co-star Joseph Quinn.

On Thursday, July 7, Schnapp shared a screenshot on his Tik Tok account of the messages Doja Cat sent him. One of them read “Noah can you tell Joseph to hmu? Wait no. Does he have a girlfriend?” Schnapp then replied telling her to “slide into his DMs.” And the conversation continued with her saying she didn’t know his Instagram and Twitter handle so “he doesn’t have DMs to slide into.” Although he has deleted the post that revealed their conversation. The “Kiss Me More” artist didn’t hold back from sharing her feelings about what he did.

On the same day the situation between Doja Cat and Stranger Things continued. The Grammy winner went live on Instagram. She shared how the invasion of her privacy made her feel. The 26-year-old started by recognizing that Noah is a kid, even though she isn’t sure how old he is. But that didn’t stop her from going in a little on the actor. “But the fact that Noah did that, like went and posted a private conversation between me and him…is like borderline snake s***.” However, she did say that even though he made a poor decision with sharing their DMs. She doesn’t think that depicts who he really is.

Schnapp has yet to respond to the “Planet Her” creators live session, but we’re sure he is feeling a little embarrassed.

During the Bridgeport, CT leg of his tour, Lil Durk had to step in when an altercation between a man and a woman broke out during the concert. The rapper stopped to acknowledge the fight, saying “I just seen the most craziest sh-t in the crowd, man.” He further addressed the audience, “I just seen a n—a tryna fight a girl, man. Slow down, bro, you know? Where is he at? Who just tried to fight a girl, man?” The rapper, clearly disturbed by the man’s actions, continued to express his disdain while concertgoers recorded the moment on their phones.

Aye bro, why you tryna fight girls, bro? I should come over there and fuck you up. Yeah. We really like that for sure. I’d make your ass apologize right now. Deadass and you a hoe. You a hoe.

The Aftermath Of The Incident

Hours later, The Shade Room posted video of the shocking moment. A man, claiming to be the one involved in the altercation, commented, claiming he was protecting his girlfriend. The commenters seemed to support the man in question. However, other Lil Durk fans defended him, asking “how was he supposed to know the situation?” Regardless, the two reactions seem to support the anti-violence in Durk’s message while acknowledging the man at the concert may have been doing something good.

Outside this incident, it’s been a successful tour promoting a successful album. 7220 came out on March 11. It became the first of Durk’s albums to chart for this long on the Billboard 200. As for the tour, there are only a handful of stops left. Durk will be in Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, St. Louis, Indianapolis, and Chicago through May.

DaBaby adds another physical altercation to an already long, long list. Is it another case of self-defense?

DaBaby vs. Wisdom

The billion-dollar Baby Entertainment record label belongs to the North Carolina rapper DaBaby. The “Suge” artist has seen an unbelievable immense success since his 2019 break out. One would think a record label would be a chance to establish a close-knit sense of loyalty. Unfortunately, violence seems to follow DaBaby wherever he goes.

This Saturday (Apr 23), DaBaby came to fight with his artist Wisdom. A video recorded backstage at a celebrity-packed concert shows Baby throwing and missing a hard punch. The two men then proceed to fight verbally. In the end, Security managed to separate the two before it blew up any further.

The South Carolina concert featured stars like Renni Rucci, Kodak Black, and Webbie. A significant disagreement broke out before DaBaby, and the new artist could start mingling with peers.

On social media, fans, of course, reacted to DaBaby fighting Wisdom. At this point, DaBaby is notorious for his tendency to throw hands. Honestly, it’s not an unfair assessment.

DaBaby’s Checkered Past

Since his start in the mainstream industry, DaBaby has been getting into countless sticky situations. In February, an altercation occurred between him and Danileighs brother Brandon Bills at a CA bowling alley. Earlier this month, police were called to a North Carolina residence after Baby shot a home intruder.

In 2020, the author of the “BETTER THAN YOU” mixtape was made to apologize. He slapped a female fan in the face at a packed nightclub.

This isn’t even the first time the 30-year-old has struck another rapper. Cam Coldheart was attacked by DaBaby in Southpark Mall in 2019 after some online back and forth. DaBaby posted a video on Instagram of Cam slumped over as proof of the beatdown.

No Regrets 

In all these cases, DaBaby has cited self-defense as his reasoning. In a 2019 Billboard interview, the North Carolina native speaks on his legal woes and why he doesn’t worry. “At the end of the day, any legal situation that I got going on, I wasn’t in the wrong. And I’m the type of person, if I ain’t wrong, I’m gonna stand on that. I don’t lose no sleep at all with having sh– going on. I just let the work overpower the sh–.”

Clearly, his strategy of not stressing is working out. Bills, who initially approached DaBaby in the bowling alley that night, refuses to work with police or pursue charges. “I was never cooperating, you know, I was never gonna cooperate, I was never gonna put nobody in jail, I been in jail myself, so I was never gonna put nobody in that situation,” he said in an Instagram live. Similar to Bills, the woman struck by DaBaby in that club never ended up pursuing charges against the rapper. Moreover, one can say his fame has only increased after the event.

Who do you think is next on DaBaby’s chopping block? It’s anyone’s guess.

Brandon Bills Delays DaBaby Bowling Brawl Case “Never Will Be A Snitch”

Apparently, DaBaby’s investigation into the bowling alley fight has run into a snag. DaniLeigh’s brother, Brandon Bills is to blame.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ  that the investigation into DaBaby’s brawl at a bowling alley with Brandon has run into unexpected problems. It appears Bills has refused to cooperate with the police.

Although most of the fight is on video, it is still difficult to continue the case without a victim.

In February of this year, DaBaby and his crew were involved in a big fight with Brandon at a bowling alley in California. Police were on the case after video footage showed the “21” rapper throwing the first punch before his crew stepped in.

According to reports, police have opened an investigation into the rapper following the video review.

What Caused The Fight Between DaBaby And Brandon Bills?

As you probably recall, the beef between DaBaby and Brandon erupted after DaBaby’s mother, DaniLeigh, publicly addressed some issues. The fight between DaBaby and DaniLeigh led to her arrest for assault.

The bowling alley investigation is still ongoing. However, it is not moving forward since Bills is not cooperating with the police.

Brandon Bills Claims He Never Cooperated With The Police

Surprisingly, in a clip posted to TheShadeRoom’s Instagram page, Brandon Bills claims that he never cooperated with the police. In addition, he asserts that he has no intention of jailing Dababy. After explaining his reasons for not doing so, he confirmed that he is not a snitch.

“All y’all talking all that snitch sh*t, you know, y’all might as well put a quick to that cause ain’t nobody a snitch here. he said. Never will be a snitch, never was a snitch. That sh*t went viral, the whole world saw it. You know what I’m saying they came to me, they asked me what happened, I said look at the video. The video tell you everything.”

Shooting!

Moreover, this past week, Baby shot a trespasser on his property in North Carolina. During the 911 call following the shooting, he explained that he would refuse to lay down his weapon upon police arrival.

The trespasser did not suffer any severe injuries and was taken to a hospital for observation.

Kanye is clearly a sensitive topic for Kid Cudi, even when the paparazzi ask.

Following a social media battle a few days earlier, Kid Cudi was out and about in Inglewood, California, for the Super Bowl LVI(Feb. 13). After the Bengals/Rams game came to a close, the ‘Pursuit of Happiness’ rapper walked outside the stadium when some paparazzi approached.

The clip starts out mild, with Kid Cudi initially ignoring the paparazzi. However, things quickly get tense when the cameraman asks about Kanye West. Upon being asked, “Any words for Kanye, man?” Kid Cudi immediately starts approaching the paparazzi with a clearly irritated facial expression. The short scuffle then ended with Kid Cudi being led away from the paparazzi by his own security. Judging by the brief shuffle of the camera, things could’ve gotten a lot more violent. “Let’s go, let’s go,” the rapper is heard saying after the run-in.

While paparazzi nearly got in a sticky situation, the question to Kid Cudi about the Chicago rapper is no shock. Kid Cudi and Kanye West have had an interesting relationship, to say the least. One full of internet brawls, onstage make-ups, and hit song collaborations. Their latest conflict is surrounding Cudi’s friendship with Pete Davidson. Davidson is currently in a romantic relationship with Kanye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian. Both parties haven’t acknowledged the paparazzi encounter since it occurred.

A cryptic prayer

Earlier today (Feb. 15), Kid Cudi took to Instagram to share his inner thoughts on the scuffle with the paparazzi.

“God…please watch over me and keep my mind sane. I could use it right now. To anyone that feels alone, in with you, and I love you,” the post reads. Cudi hasn’t been shy about his struggles with mental health in the past. In addition to it being a common theme in his music, he had a stint in rehab for “depression and suicidal urges” in late 2016. He subsequently left rehab that following year.

Judging by his Instagram post, he seems aware of his mental health and is concerned with keeping positive. It’s also possible the Kanye question from the paparazzi garnered a reaction in Kid Cudi. The highly negative interaction took place between them only days prior.

Regardless, it’s clear Cudi needs good vibes sent his way from fans and non-fans alike.

DaBaby Speaks On Bowling Alley Fight With Brandon Bills

DaBaby’s relationship with his ex-girlfriend DaniLeigh has been fraught with fights and challenges. On Wednesday, Feb. 9, DaBaby and Brandon Bills, DaniLeigh’s brother, got into an altercation at a bowling alley in Topanga, California.

DaBaby’s Response to Altercation

Paparazzi approached the “ROCKSTAR” artist outside of a party for Kanye West’s upcoming Netflix documentary jeen-yuhs on Friday (Feb. 11). DaBaby explained that the only reason he struck first to fight Bills was self-defense.

“Self-defense,” he calmly said before handing out autographs to the crowd surrounding him. “Shouldn’t run around threatening people.”

A video posted to social media on Thursday (Feb. 10) shows DaBaby flinging a punch at Bills, who has more than once criticized the father of his sister’s child because of alleged mistreatment. As soon as Bills collapses on the floor, DaBaby and his cronies surround him and start punching him.

Bills had visible cuts and bruises on his face following the incident. In addition to taking an impromptu victory lap following the fight, he also attracted the attention of the Los Angeles Police Department, which is investigating DaBaby for possible assault charges.

Security camera footage shows that Corbin Ball immediately banned DaBaby and his entourage as a result of the incident. LAPD is investigating DaBaby for assault with a deadly weapon. As Bill lay on the ground, he received a blow to the head.

As previously stated, DaBaby’s fight with Bills is the latest chapter in his ongoing saga with DaniLeigh. Following an on-off relationship between the two, the singer became pregnant in late 2020 and gave birth to their daughter. DaBaby allegedly was assaulted by DaniLeigh last year, and officers went to his home. As a result of this domestic call, the “Lil Bebe” singer is charged with two counts of assault.

For some, enough is enough! They are definitely taking a different approach in 2022, as Jason Derulo recently demonstrated.

TMZ reports that today Jason Derulo got into an all-out brawl with some trolls. The R&B crooner was in Las Vegas at a hotel when a couple of hecklers caught more than his attention. Unfortunately, they caught Derulo’s fist.

What Got Derulo Hot Under The Collar

As Derulo passed, one of the passersby’s yelled out,

“Hey, Usher! F*** you, b***h!!!”

Apparently, Derulo didn’t take the call-out of his name too kindly. Not sure if it was the reference to him being Usher or being called a female dog that got him heated. Nevertheless, the artist quickly reacted with a punch to the face. And if that wasn’t enough, he went on to lay hands on another person who was reportedly part of the name-calling.

Where Was Derulo’s Bodyguard?

Well, no one is sure. The assumption is a rather large man with Derulo could have been his bodyguard. However, he wasn’t putting a stop to the altercation.

Post Altercation

Following the incident, Derulo was hit with a trespassing notice. He reportedly threw the first punch, so he got off easy with this one.

Reports also show that the two individuals who suffered the assault are not pressing charges, at least now. However, there was some blood spillage, no injuries required medical attention.

It May Not Be Over For Derulo

However, the two still have the option to press charges later. So, this may not be the end of this incident.

The only thing that one can say at this moment is wow! There are so many lessons to be learned here it’s hard to choose one. But, one crucial one is it always pays dividends to keep cool in high-pressure situations. So, if anything else comes of this incident, FM Hip Hop will let you know.

O-Block’s Aroy Fatally Shot and Killed on Facebook Live

23-year-old O’Block member Aroy aka Munna Mound was reportedly shot and killed. In a graphic Facebook Live video obtained by The Source, Mound is seen being shot after winning a gang-related fight in Chicago’s O-Block neighborhood. The incident happened Monday evening.

In the four-second clip, Mound and at least three others are seen fighting in the O-Block apartment complex. He stands up and leaves the fight, after berating and beating an unidentified man. The man then takes out a gun and discharges seven shots, shooting Aroy multiple times.

Mound died on the scene. The alleged shooter fled the scene wearing a black jacket. At the time of writing, the police have not taken anyone into custody for the incident. More details of the incident will soon follow.

A report claims that the woman who filmed and posted the graphic footage was jumped and assaulted for making the footage public. The clip shows her being stomped on while onlookers scream.

O’Block History

O’Block is a neighborhood in Chicago that is known for being one of the most violent neighborhoods in the country. Fellow O’Block member Odee Perry was assassinated in the same neighborhood in 2011.

Only The Family ties

Aroy was also a part of Lil Durk’s record label OTF (Only The Family). His death follows the shooting deaths of label mates NuNu, King Von, and OTF DThang. The label showed love to the late rapper on their Instagram stories.  He was also a part of the 100k administration, which had Vanama’s list. They had made a message via Instagram with a photo of him and his kids.

 

The rapper’s death comes on the heels of the murder of Young Dolph.

Dolph was shot and killed in his hometown of Southeast Memphis days before Thanksgiving. Since his death, the city of Memphis says it will honor Dolph by naming a street after him in the city. The ceremony of the new street name will take place tomorrow (December 15) at the Memphis Depot National Park.
