50 Cent commented on the Jussie Smollett situation. Many other celebrities also did so since the incident in 2019. Although the “Empire” actor was served 150 days in Cook County Jail for faking a hate crime, Smollett got released after only spending 6 days.

50 Cent was quick to react to the Jussie Smollett news on Instagram with the caption. “They let this fool out in less than a week. LOL,” the artist then wrote. It’s hard for many fans & celebrity peers to justify Smollett’s staged hate crime. Also, take a look at 50 Cent’s Instagram post below:

Recap Of Jussie Smollett Incident

As mentioned above, Jussie Smollett faked a hate crime back in 2019. In short, he lied about the attack in a police report. Consequentially, the Internet then immediately clowned Smollett. There’s even video footage of Smollett grabbing supplies. Jussie purchased ski masks, gloves, bandanas, red hats, and sunglasses for this stunt.

Additionally, his 2 brothers/accomplices, Ola and Abel Osundairo, also testified. Apparently, Smollett paid them for this illusion. Watch the video of the group of men getting supplies ready for their staged altercation:

While Commenting On Smollett, 50 Cent Is Still Being 50 Cent

Jussie Smollett Was Discharged From The Cook County Jail’s Psychiatric Unit

The Cook County Jail’s psychiatric ward has finally released Jussie Smollett. He spent time in psychiatry following his probation and jail sentence last week. According to his brother, a series of public pressures from fans led to his admission to the psychiatric ward.

Brother Jocqui Smollett took to social media to express his gratitude for those who helped with the “Free Jussie” campaign. In addition, he described Jussie’s removal from the psychiatric ward and his release from restraints as being positive signs in the right direction.

“Cook County doesn’t really move until they get bad publicity…keep continuing to call Cook County Jail checking in on him and keep saying that you believe he should be free,” Jocqui said.

Jocqui also believes that if the public continues to exert pressure, Jussie Smollett could eventually be freed from incarceration.

As reported by TMZ, Jussie Smollett was placed in this ward due to its high concentration of high-profile inmates. The documentation on his placement caused Jocqui to be concerned, as it indicated that he was at risk for self-harm. Jocqui believes that this is suspicious information. Jussie Smollett declared adamantly throughout the sentencing process that he was not suicidal.

The authorities took Jussie into custody immediately to begin his 150-day jail sentence. In response to his team’s request, the former actor will be under protective custody for the next five months. His punishment includes jail time and felony probation for 30 months, restitution for $120K, and fines for $25K.

At the moment, no further information is available by a spokesperson for Jussie Smollett.
