Cardi B Joins Full Stop Management

Cardi B is supposedly prepping for a new album rollout, starting with some new management in the face of continued legal battles.

Irving and Jeffrey Azoff’s Full Stop Management houses celebs like Harry Styles, Roddy Rich, and Saweetie. Now, they can add this Bronx MC to their impressive roster.

Cardi B and Full Stop Join Forces

Full Stop Management is spearheaded by industry titans Irving and Jeffrey Azoff. The duo merged with Brandon Creeds company, The Creed Co., in 2017. Since then, Full Stop’s influence in the music world has been growing. With legendary names on their side like Bon Jovi and Gwen Stefani, Cardi B seems to be the perfect client for Full Stop Management.

Billboard initially reported the move. Variety and Sony Music VP Shawn Holiday confirmed it later. Holiday hinted at a new album from Cardi coming from Atlantic Records next year.

All 13 tracks on Cardi B’s “Invasion of Privacy” record are now certified platinum. It also means she’s the first female rapper to achieve this record. Maintaining relevancy for five years without a second major project is an imposing feat, but Cardi has done it with ease.

Cardi has yet to confirm, but now would certainly be a good time to start the album process. The 30-year-old has been on a massive winning streak lately. After securing a win in her defamation suit against blogger Tasha K, Cardi came out on top in a lawsuit against model Kevin Brophy. In addition, the “Invasion of Privacy” author received an extremely light sentence for assault charges accrued during a 2018 strip club brawl. The “Up” rapper only served 15 days of community service for her involvement, despite the seriousness of the accusations. All of these events occurred in 2022.

Obviously, Cardi has plenty to celebrate and plenty of ammo to use for a new sophomore album.

Nicki Minaj Signed Rapper and Producer Tate Kobang To Her New Record Label: “Welp Thats Cats Out The Bag”

It has been four years since Nicki Minaj last appeared on the music scene. The release of her singles such as “Do We Have A Problem,” and “Bussin” with Lil Baby has led to the eager anticipation of Nicki’s follow-up to Queen. However, she appears to be moving forward with her upcoming ventures. Tate Kobang, a Baltimore rapper and producer, announced on Wednesday that he had signed with Nicki Minaj’s record label. He confirmed the agreement on his Instagram Stories.

“Welp that’s cats out the bag …yeah I just closed my deal and signed to Nicci as a artist. Damn,” he said on Instagram Stories.

Nicki Minaj Expressed Gratitude To The Baltimore Rapper

Nicki mentioned the signing during an Instagram Live in January and sent a huge shout-out to Tate. “I see you, Tate Kobang. I see you boo boo,” she said on Instagram Live. “It’s about that time to announce my record label, y’all.”

Additionally, the Baltimore rapper previewed a new song in which Nicki Minaj contributed some bars. With the snippet playing in the background, he captioned the video “In dat mode.”.

Despite not confirming the news yet, Nicki Minaj first announced in March this year that her label and management company were being formed.

In the interview with Joe Budden, she revealed that she is in the process of launching her own record label and management company. “I am creating my own management company,” without adding much more detail about the company’s name and whether it was already formed.

While participating in the Mega Tron challenge in 2019, she hinted that she was setting up her own label and management company. Her tweet at the time mentioned her search for artists for her roster. Additionally, she expressed an interest in signing dancers, producers, and writers. Since then, no new information has been provided about those plans.

Is Nicki Affiliated With Another Artist Agency?

Irving Azoff previously managed Nicki Minaj at Full Stop Management. This company represents artists like Lizzo, Roddy Ricch, and Harry Styles. Variety reports that her relationship with the company ended last year. The company SALXCO, run by Wassim ‘Sal’ Slaiby, attracted her attention. The company’s roster includes artists such as The Weeknd, Shenseea, Doja Cat, French Montana, and Ty Dolla $ign.
