The Winner’s Circle: Why Reasonable Doubt Season 3 Belongs at the Top of Your Queue

Momentum, mastery, and a lead performance that turns every scene into a question—now streaming on Hulu

Confidence From the First Gavel

Season 3 opens like a champion defending its title. The hook is immediate, the tone assured, and the storytelling crisp. Cross-exams sting, private moments breathe, and the long game is clever enough to reward careful viewers without punishing casual ones.

Jax, In Full

What makes Jax unforgettable is not invincibility but calibration. She measures risk in real time—legal, political, personal—and the series lets us watch her math. When she miscalculates, the fallout feels earned; when she nails it, the satisfaction is electric.

Chemistry and Conflict

The ensemble feels like a world, not a backdrop. Allies are allowed to be wrong; rivals are allowed to be right. That balance keeps momentum honest and turns every scene into a potential pivot. You don’t just wait for the verdict—you wait to see who each decision makes Jax become.

The Invitation

Want to know why the energy around Season 3 feels louder? Watch the official trailer and you’ll see the precision. Then stream the season on Hulu. The court of public opinion is convening, and Reasonable Doubt is ready for the argument.

Jack Harlow’s Third Album ‘Jackman’: Album Review

Kentucky rapper Jack Harlow has surprised us this week. He has announced a new album was coming very soon called “Jackman.” Harlow’s Instagram post presents him topless on the album cover, in front of a garage, with the signature curly hair slightly covering Jack’s eyes.

Jack Harlow Is Trying Something New With “Jackman”

The album has been out since Apr. 28, 2023. The record is only 24 minutes long and consists of ten songs, which differs from Jack Harlow’s freshman and sophomore records.

“That’s What They All Say” album cover. Image source: Atlantic Records.

Harlow’s first album, “That’s What They All Say,” has fifteen songs, while his second album, “Come Home The Kids Miss You,” has 15 songs and two music videos.

Harlow definitely took a different approach with this new musical piece of work, which is sadly also a little underwhelming.

Songs Not As Memorable As Harlow’s Last Two Albums

Songs are not as memorable as the ones from Harlow’s other two albums.

“Jackman” also has no features, which is a bold choice for an album packing short songs with less than two minutes duration.

This time, Jack Harlow is either trying to prove a point with his lyrics, or these are just old demos that didn’t make it on any of the artist’s old LPs or EPs.

What Songs Stand Out On Jack Harlow’s Third Album?

The tracks that stand out are “Common Ground,” “They Don’t Love It,” and “Gang Gang Gang.”

“Common Ground” is Jack Harlow keeping it real; the artist literally starts the song with, “It’s not opinion based, it’s just, just sh** I see.” The lyrics seem to point at folks who have “white privilege” and don’t understand that those less fortunate around them have to do what they need to survive.

“They Don’t Love It” has one of the boldest lines on the album, in which Jack Harlow refers to himself as the “hardest” white boy since Eminem. “The hardest white boy since the one who rapped about vomit and sweaters,” the Louisville rapper’s lyric goes. “There’s vomit on his sweater already,” the lyrics say in one of the most iconic songs by the hip-hop veteran, “Lose Yourself.”

“Gang Gang Gang” was disturbingly real. Jack Harlow talks about these guys he knew that ended up doing some very messed up things. Things which result in holding “accountable the ones we hold dear.” The song also interpolates “Stay Schemin'” by Rick Ross in the somewhat chorus.

The ladies will probably love “No Enhancers” because the lyrics reflect Jack Harlow talking about his girl’s natural beauty. It’s a nice vibe on a lyrics-heavy album.

Give the album a couple more tries; maybe more songs will stick. Maybe even several tries since the songs are so short. For example, “Is that Ight?” is already latching to me.

Grade

“Jackman” gets a B-. The record is only a little bit above average, yet it still has some songs that can sneak into your music library.

I appreciate the honesty on this album that was lacking in the last two. Everything feels raw here, as if Jack Harlow is speaking straight from the heart.

“White Men Can’t Jump” Reboot With Sinqua Walls

Harlow’s new album comes out with the artist also starring in a reboot of “White Men Can’t Jump” with Sinqua Walls. The motion picture will stream on Hulu on May 19, 2023.

“White Men Can’t Jump” (reboot) poster for Hulu

The film will also feature stars like Teyana Taylor, Laura Harrier, Tamara “Tee” Kissen, Myles Bullock, rapper Vince Staples, and the late Lance Reddick.

Machine Gun Kelly Smashes His Face At NY After Party

Machine Gun Kelly is certainly a punk rock artist.  He performed in Madison Square Garden earlier this week on his “Mainstream Sellout Tour”.  The tour has 27 more stops and includes Trippie Redd, Willow, and Iann Dior.   After the show was the after party of course.  During the party, MGK decided to smash his face with a glass!  He was on stage with a champagne class in one hand and the microphone in the other.  After screaming that he didn’t care about anything, the rock star breaks the glass on his face.  With blood coming out of his face, he remains on stage and performs his song, “My Ex’s Best Friend”.

MGK’s Antics

On his Instagram page, you can see the two clips in which MGK looks as if nothing happened.  In the morning after, he takes to social media again posting his reaction of what he did the night prior.  The Ohio-raised rapper appeared shocked and disgusted.  Yesterday, he appeared on “Late Night With Seth Meyers” where he explained the incident.  He said he wanted to quiet the crowd, but he did not have a fork.  So, he used his head instead.  Also, this may be hard to believe, but MGK did not wait until after his concert to spark headlines.  He was even on one during his sold-out show!  During his set, Kelly decided to come at one of the crew members.  He aggressively ran off the stage shouting towards the man until his team member held him back.  MGK ran right back on stage to smash a guitar before the end of the show.

Life in Pink

Machine Gun Kelly has had a few dark times in his life.  He details a time specifically in his new documentary, “Life in Pink”.  Streaming on Hulu, the rapper turned rocker admits he almost committed suicide.  In July of 2020, Kelly’s father passed away and he did not know how to cope.  His girlfriend, Megan Fox, was out of town working while he was all alone.  At that time, he was sleeping with a shotgun every night from dealing with paranoia.  One day, he turned the shotgun on him, but fortunately he did not pull the trigger.  As a result, Kelly decided to stay off drugs with the help of Fox and his daughter.

Atlanta Season 3 Episode 8 News

Atlanta is coming back! Everyone’s favorite drama is returning on May 5 to FX for Atlanta Season 3 Episode 8. This episode is going to feature characters from season 1. Atleast, they are going to have their loose ends tied before the series ends.

Recap

In the previous episode, which was a standalone episode not connected to the main plot, the main characters are a white family who is going to a funeral for their child’s nanny, Sylvia. She was from Trinidad and was a dedicated childcare professional.  She was a matriarch of the community and wanted to help the children every chance she got. The funeral is full of “Black Funeral” tropes. Everything from a family member wanting to go into the ground with Sylvia to a fight going off. There was even somebody apologizing to the white family for how bad everyone’s behavior is. He tells them, “This is how we sad.”

The parents of the child were both subconsciously racist. The father hesitated when he was introduced to Sylvia’s daughter, Joy, who had a thick Trinidadian accent. He also hesitated to let Joy’s nephew valet his car. The mother could only look in horror at her son who is perfectly mingling with the other funeral attendees. She says that she is going to hire a more “metropolitan” nanny next time during the car ride home.

That night, a mysterious stranger gives the family a portrait of Sylvia and their son. The son says that when he grows up, he will “play steel pan like Uncle Samuel”. His parents have no idea who that is and freak out.

What We Know About Episode 8

This episode is going to feature Al and Darius. They are wandering around Amsterdam. This is somehow connected to a tv show. The episode is called “New Jazz”. There has been a reveal of the official plot synopsis of the episode.

“Al and Darius walk around Amsterdam. Psssh, I could make a way better TV show than this.”

Atlanta Season 3 Episode 8 is going to be available on FX as well as Hulu on May 5.

Hulu Premiers And Removes ‘Astroworld: Concert From Hell’

Incredible decorations and terrifying consequences. The Astroworld Festival claimed ten people’s lives. Most recently, Ezra Blount’s family refused to take Scott’s offer of funeral cost coverage. Significantly, half of the victims’ families did too. ABC13 shot the ‘Astroworld: Concert from Hell’ documentary. This documentary is now available on Hulu.

Half of the movie is dedicated to the concert’s detailed description. The other is about victims and their families.

The picture jumps into action immediately, providing the audience with news and phone footage from the first seconds. What is meant to be the movie’s beginning comes up only after several action-filled minutes.

The official start is also a news report, which comes up after the movie’s concluding thought. Once again, the conclusion is put in the beginning and expressed by the motion picture’s guest.

Is it appropriate to experiment when reporting on tragic events? It’s definitely revolutionary.

The raw footage in the movie clearly translates the crowd mood. Rush madness almost immediately switched to happy interviews of the people who are waiting for the show. “You wish you were here,” one of the visitors assured. Then it’s back to madness. This time much worse.

Carefully picked montage with dramatic music in documentaries works in its own ways. Raw footage of the Astroworld concert stampede from Insta stories does the job more effectively.

The movie does its job overall too, both in terms of reporting and emotional delivery. ABC13 presented the complete picture of Astroworld concert events and a range of people’s reactions.

The Beam Of Humanity And The Astroworld Concert Disaster

The unfortunate start sank in interviews of happy people walking around the Astroworld location and enjoying the retro amusements. However, some immediately went to the stage five hours before the show.

Imagine staying under the heat for five hours, waiting for your favorite artist. People in Houston say Scott is an icon there. After five hours full of adrenaline and the sun heat, spectators of the were already not in the most superb condition.

Before the show and at its beginning, the crowd went crazy. Many suffocated and tried to escape; some didn’t manage to. Eventually, ambulances and police started to interfere. Some people also helped to get others over the fence. Many lives were saved by the simple Astroworld concert crowd.

Meanwhile, At The Concert Stage…

Houston PD and Live Nation kept receiving reports on massive surge. Around the same time, Travis Scott brought Drake on stage. The movie also shows the footage of Scott’s fan explaining the situation to the cameraman. He looks annoyed. Is it because of having to ask Mr.Scott himself to stop the fatally dangerous show?

The court potentially might drop the charges against Scott. “You can be a very violent person in an area where there was a fight, but not have thrown a punch,” Scott’s lawyer claimed.

This can also be “significant for the community,” as the movie claims. Post a black-and-white video with apologies. Or even cure depression with your music, as one of the fans assures. You can still go on with the show and end it with 10 fatal casualties.

I can then write on the Astroworld concert tragedy. Get more readers through 10 people’s deaths, even if I just want to inform.

Hulu vs. Twitter

The Twitter crowd is unhappy with the new movie. Some assumed Hulu produced the picture.

“Hulu really moved fast as hell to make a documentary and named it Astroworld: Concert from Hell,” Jonathan Tucker pointed out. “I am crying at everyone trying to make their profit from that event.”

Others, like @KimCommie, claimed the documentary has “no type of structural analysis & they didnt interview the RN who said medics there were undertrained.” “Shit seemed directed by Live Nation/Travis Scott himself,” @KimCommie also complained in the end.

Petty Slimane wrote multiple paragraphs regarding the issue; consequently, she got the most likes under her tweet.

“Hulu making a documentary about Astroworld is in poor taste all around. Great documentaries are done when all the facts are laid out. Not enough time has passed to fully discuss this,”- is a short sum-up of Slimane’s quotes. Read below for more.

Hulu spokesperson already talked to Variety. “This was an investigative local news special from ABC13/KTRK-TV in Houston that originally aired on November 20th. The spokesperson concluded that this was not a Hulu documentary and has since been removed to avoid confusion,” the spokesperson concluded.

The movie is still available on ABC13 website and in above in this article.

Justin Timberlake Receives Backlash After Janet Jackson Super Bowl Documentary Premieres

Justin Timberlake is once again facing backlash over what happened to Janet Jackson at their 2004 Super Bowl Halftime Show.

In the latest New York Times documentary, Malfunction: The Dressing Down of Janet Jackson, fans and viewers got a clear picture of Jackson’s amazing career leading up to one of the biggest controversies in music history. Although there were no big reveals, the documentary does paint a vivid picture. It covers how the culture reacted to the brief wardrobe malfunction that exposed Jackson’s nipple on primetime TV, and how it changed the entertainment industry forever.

In the new documentary, it’s suggested that only three people know what happened leading up to the halftime show. Those three are Jackson, Timberlake, and her costume designer. The three spoke alone before the performance without any producers present.

The Criticism of Justin Timberlake

Following the release of the Framing Britney Spears documentary in February, Timberlake not only received criticism for his actions against his former pop star girlfriend but against Jackson as well. That behavior is once again highlighted in Malfunction, which shows Timberlake’s post-performance interview in stark contrast with his apologetic statements after the fact. Eventually, he circles back to joking about the incident years later.

Since both documentaries aired, social media made sure to voice their opinions on Justin Timberlake.

JT responds

Following the original criticism in February, Timberlake apologized to Jackson and Spears in a lengthy Instagram post.

“I am deeply sorry for the times in my life where my actions contributed to the problem, where I spoke out of turn, or did not speak up for what was right,” he wrote on Instagram nearly 20 years after the fallout of his relationship with Spears and 17 years after the Super Bowl moment. “I understand that I fell short in these moments and in many others”, he continued. “And benefited from a system that condones misogyny and racism.”

Janet Jackson did not respond publicly to Timberlake’s apology.  Moreover, she was not interviewed for Malfunction. However, she will discuss the incident in a two-part, four-hour documentary that will air in 2022 titled, Janet.
