TikTok Viral Artist Tisakorean Produces McDonald’s New Sprite Anthem

There is an innovative approach to preparing and presenting McDonald’s food. According to a press release, as part of its ongoing marketing strategy, McDonald’s has announced that they have partnered with popular TikToker, producer, and rapper Tisakorean. His initiative was to produce a unique beat to showcase how tasty Sprite is when served from its soda fountain.

Why Did Tisakorean Name The Sprite Anthem “Static”?

The song “Static,” by Tisakorean feat. Sprite from McDonald’s was released on Instagram and TikTok on Aug. 30. The anthem is intended to convey the perception among over a thousand consumers on social media that the fast food chain’s Sprite tastes like static.

Aside from a hip-hop beat, Tisakorean, who has over 500,000 followers on Byte-Dance’s TikTok, layers the sound as inspiration, then bases his hook on the question, “Can I take a sip?”

Tisakorean Loves McDonald’s Sprite Drink

Apparently, TisaKorean has always turned to Sprite at McDonald’s as his regular drink of choice. Therefore, he believes that the drink imparts an intense taste that reminds one of static electricity. As a result, the producer was thrilled when McDonald’s approached him about creating this track.

People usually enjoy certain beverages in particular stores, restaurants, or other establishments. Their response is different to specific tastes in beverages. Therefore, one must be extremely satisfied with the taste of a particular drink if they subjects themselves to it.

‘Making of the Beat’

Supporting the artist, McDonald’s released a short video titled “Making of the Beat.” The video depicts Tisakorean working in a recording studio.

In addition, the video was made in collaboration with hip-hop director Carmelo Varela to offer a glimpse into Tisakorean’s creative process and style. Furthermore, a growing trend is branded partnering with creators to reach out to niche audiences and gain a more solid following on the web to reach out more to consumers.

Sponsor

Moreover, Offline TV has become the first major sponsor of its campaign to promote McDonald’s. The company is a group of content creators dedicated to creating gaming-focused content.

Overall, McDonald’s relationship with Sprite is no secret. The fast food chain encourages Sprite fans to add their own flavor to the song by trending the hashtag #McDonaldsStaticSprite on TikTok or Instagram.

Kanye West Makes Return To Instagram With New McDonald’s Project

Lately, Kanye West has been on a break from Instagram due to his issues with Pete Davidson. But today, Ye announced his return to the platform in a surprising turn of events.

Though fans assumed Kanye’s return to Instagram would have something to do with his new song with XXXTentacion, that doesn’t appear to be the case. Instead, his latest post is related to a new venture with McDonald’s involving business packaging.

Kanye’s posts on Instagram

The image in Kanye’s post shows a simple burger box with a minimalist graphic of the golden arches on top. The design is a unique take on the OG McDonald’s brand, but its future usage remains unclear.

“Ye teams up with legendary Muji industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa to reimagine McDonald’s packaging,” the caption reads.

Kanye also took to his Instagram story to share the design with the caption “Next week it’s the fries.” The line is a lyric from Ye’s 2005 track Gold Digger. Before posting the photo, Kanye had a since-deleted story with the same image published in the New York Times.

This isn’t the first collaboration between West and McDonald’s. Back in February, Ye made a cameo in a McDonald’s Super Bowl commercial. In the ad, the rapper pulls up to a drive-thru on an ATV, delivering the famous line “Can I get uhhhhh.” The commercial also featured NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace and the giant purple mascot Grimace, voiced by Ryan Reynolds.

Kanye’s week in preview

In terms of music, it’s also a big week for Kanye. On Friday, his song True Love from Donda 2 featuring XXXTentacion will be released to streaming services. It’s unclear on whether or not the song has been reworked from the standard version. The song will also be featured in X’s posthumous album Look At Me, as well as the credits of his Hulu documentary.

A post on X’s Instagram alludes to the song being “FROM THE FORTHCOMING ALBUMS,” giving fans a hint that more work will come from Donda 2 in the future.

Arby’s Ad Ft. Pusha T Disses McDonald’s

Pusha T has created another diss track but this time all rappers are safe. Pusha teams up with Arby’s as he directs his bars towards a rival fast-food franchise. McDonald’s is unfortunately on the wrong side of this one. The house of the clown will not be loving this.

When first coming across this story it is hard to see it as anything other than a gimmick. Pusha’s last diss track was against Drake and now he is beefing with McDonald’s. Some might see it as a downgrade for T but the payout will be a lot bigger. Plus, he might win this battle and have a larger come up.

Pusha T Disses McDonald’s

Pusha T posted the Arby’s commercial on his Instagram and the video went viral. The post has almost 1 million views. People are flocking to hear what Pusha has to say.

“Filet-O-Fish is s**t and you should be disgusted. How dare you sell a square fish asking us to trust it. A half slice of cheese, Mickey D’s on a budget?” via Instagram

Pusha T didn’t leave it up for us to debate who he was talking about. He calls out McDonald’s by name and strikes at their Filet-O-Fish. No need to read between the lines because the message is direct.

“A little cube of fish from a clown is basic. Say less, this argument is baseless. Drowned in tarter that Filet-O-Fish is tasteless.” via Instagram

Pusha T’s voice is immediately recognized and his iconic cadences capture the listener’s ear.

The History Between Pusha And McDonald’s

Pusha T dives deeper into why he teamed up with Arby in an interview with Rolling Stones.

“I am solely responsible for the ’I’m Lovin‘ It’ swag and the jingle of that company” via Rolling Stone

Pusha takes responsibility for helping McDonald’s with their famous jingle. In his ad with Arby’s, this is the first thing he mentions.

In the interview with Rolling Stone, Pusha T talks about how his brother and he were young when working with McDonald’s. The Clipse members were underpaid if you take into consideration how much others were paid for helping with the Mickey D’s jingle.

“It was like half a million or a million dollars for me and my brother…I had to get that energy off me, and this [ad] was the perfect way to get that energy like, ‘You know what? I’m over it.” Rolling Stone

Pusha has been holding on to this for a long time but he did learn his lesson while wondering for McDonald’s. Pusha asked for more this time around.

This Arby’s ad featuring Pusha T has a lot of ground to cover before being mentioned with the “I’m Loving It” jingle but it has taken a nice first step. Pusha and Arby’s have opened the door for McDonald’s to respond but will they. We have to wait and see how McDonald’s will answer.

Travis Scott x McDonald’s Action Figure Selling For $45,000

Travis Scott’s collab with McDonald’s has reached a new milestone. As a promotional tactic, the Cactus Jack brand spawned an extremely limited edition action figure depicting Travis holding a tray with his signature meal. Today, you can cop one for a cool $45,000 on StockX.

The action figures were never released on sale to the public, with only 5 known to be in existence. Mickey D’s conducted a giveaway of the figurine back in September as a way to encourage customers to buy the Travis Scott Meal. This month, La Flame also gifted one to a young fan battling cancer.

The collab proved to be a success for both parties. A merch campaign also coincided with their partnership, with everything from hoodies and shirts to a McNugget pillow getting sold out in a matter of days.
