On an ordinary day in their vibrant neighborhood, they relish delightful moments with their friends. It’s a celebration of the boundless love that surrounds them, leaving us to wonder: Is this a reflection of the profound affection they share? And can their love truly shine through, even in the face of adversity?

Watch the music video for “Why We Don’t Vibe” below!

The Art Of Love: Balancing Different Tempos

Love is a tale as old as time, where one soul is eagerly waving the “Let’s settle down!” flag while the other is doing a twirl under the “Not ready to commit” banner. It’s like two people trying to do a wild, random dance move—one wants a slow waltz while the other craves the electric hustle and bustle of a nightclub.

But therein lies the magic of love, doesn’t it? This is a beautiful, chaotic, and often confused collision of emotions. It’s the art of compromise and patience, where one learns to wait while the other discovers the value of slowing down. It’s the hectic and unpredictable adventure of finding common ground in the vast landscape of romance. As we navigate the thrilling maze of love, remember that it’s okay to have different tempos in your heart’s symphony. After all, it’s those differences that make love’s journey so special.

Although Yalo and Nelia have very different perspectives on what settling down with a partner involves, this song sheds light on what couples actually undergo. Yet, despite these trying times, love remains between both parties.

“Why Don’t We Vibe,” is out now on all streaming platforms.

From Clicks To Cash: Understanding The Number Of Spotify Streams Needed To Match The Average US Wage

A groundbreaking study by Pirate, the world’s leading provider of rehearsal and recording facilities for artists, unveiled an extraordinary revelation. Mississippi emerges as the ultimate artistic oasis in the United States, where aspiring musicians can thrive on Spotify.

Delving deep into the difficulties of this vibrant music platform, the analysis compared the average weekly wage in each state with the sum an artist earns from a single stream on Spotify. And the results, my fellow music enthusiasts, are nothing short of remarkable!

Mississippi’s Musical Oasis: The Path To Earning The Average Wage Through Spotify Streams

With its rich cultural heritage, the charming state of Mississippi would require the fewest number of Spotify streams to attain the esteemed status of earning the average wage. According to the latest data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly salary in Mississippi stands at $933, creating a golden opportunity for aspiring artists.

Here’s where the magic truly unfolds: With industry estimates indicating an average payout of $0.0032 per stream on the platform, an artist must generate a mind-boggling 291,563 streams each week to match this weekly wage. Hold on to your seats, folks—that amounts to a 15,161,250 streams per year to secure the state’s coveted average annual salary of $48,516.

Imagine the possibilities! In the beautiful landscapes of Mississippi, nestled within its soulful melodies and diverse artistic community, lies an extraordinary opportunity for artists to carve their path to success. Additionally, with passion, dedication, and a melodic masterpiece, they can transform their dreams into a harmonious reality. Furthermore, while captivating the hearts and ears of countless listeners, they can achieve this by streaming their music on Spotify.

Tuning Into Arkansas’s Musical Odyssey: Chasing The Average Wage Through A Symphony Of Streams

In the vibrant state of Arkansas, where music melodies resonate through the rolling hills and open plains, a talented artist faces a unique challenge. Now, hold onto your headphones because here’s a mind-blowing fact: to match the average weekly wage of $1,036, they need a whopping 323,750 streams per week! Can you believe it?

However, that is not the end of the story. Brace yourself for this astonishing revelation: our determined artist must amass 16,835,000 streams over a year! Yes, turning those streams into a paycheck in the Natural State takes some serious sonic power.

study

Now, let’s compare the Arkansas music scene to its neighboring state, Mississippi. An artist in Mississippi, with its laid-back charm and soulful melodies, needs more than one million streams less each year to reach the same level of income. That’s quite a gap, wouldn’t you say?

So, music lovers, take a moment to appreciate the commitment and passion Arkansas artists pour into their craft. Not only are they creating incredible tunes, but they are also battling numbers and statistics in their quest to make ends meet. This struggle is especially prominent in a state where Spotify streams determine financial success. To show our support for these hardworking artists, let’s hit that play button and help them chase their dreams, one flowing stream at a time!

West Virginia’s Streaming Success: Surpassing Expectations With 325,625 Weekly Spotify Streams

Moving on to the third spot on our list, let’s delve into the deep state of West Virginia. Surpassing the previous entries, this remarkable state boasts an even higher average weekly salary of $1,042. However, that impressive figure translates to 325,625 streams per week.

Consequently, West Virginia emerges as a stunning gem snuggled in the heart of Appalachia. It is also a challenging powerhouse when reaping the rewards of hard work. Furthermore, with its gorgeous landscape and thriving economy, it’s no wonder that West Virginians are making their mark in the world of streaming and beyond.

Washington’s Streaming Summit

At the other end of the scale, aspiring music stars living in Washington need more than half a million streams each week. Specifically, they require 517,813 streams to match the state’s average weekly income of $1,657, which happens to be the highest in the country. In order to achieve this, they would need a staggering 26,926,250 streams per year.

Massachusetts’ Streaming Milestone

With an impressive 515,938 plays required, Massachusetts proudly claims the second spot for the highest number of streams needed to reach its average weekly wage of $1,651.

The Streaming Landscape In New York: A Close Third In Earnings Requirements

Not far behind, New York secures a close third with a hefty 502,500 streams required to match its weekly earnings of $1,608. Talk about hustling!

Now, let’s zoom out and look at the bigger picture. Across the United States, the average weekly wage stands at $1,334. Consequently, that’s where the magic number of 416,875 streams per week comes into play. Therefore, to match the average American earnings, you’d need to have those virtual play buttons hit 416,875 times. Undoubtedly, it’s a testament to the immense popularity and influence of streaming platforms in today’s digital era.

So, whether you’re strumming the strings of your guitar or belting out tunes from your soul, or spinning tracks as a DJ guru, remember that every single stream counts. Keep the rhythm flowing and the beats banging. Let your talent shine as you work towards reaching those streaming milestones. All the while, aim to make your musical dreams a reality.

Navigating The Streaming Landscape: Examining The Study Of Challenges Through Pirate’s Spokesperson

Commenting on the study, a spokesperson for Pirate said: “This study offers a fascinating insight into the scale of success an artist would need just to earn the average wage from Spotify across America. To earn around one thousand dollars a week from Spotify, an artist would need to have more than 15 million streams per year.”

“Obviously artists will rely on multiple streams of income rather than earning from just one platform, but this still shows the heights that performers have to reach to have the chance of earning a living solely from music.”

Pirate, a music technology company with fully automated and self-service 24-hour music studios throughout the UK, US, and Germany, conducted the study.

Nicki Minaj and Kim Petras Slay In The “Alone” Music Video

It’s Barbie and “Kim Petty!” The queen of rap is back at it again with another spicy feature. Nicki Minaj has hopped on German pop princess Kim Petra’s single “Alone,” which debuts at No. 55 on the Billboard Hot 100. This is the “Barbie Dreams” rapper’s 129th entry on the Hot 100 and the second time for pop princess Kim Petras.

Music Video Giving Eighties Vibes

The song samples the Eurodance hit “Better Off Alone” by Alice DeeJay. The music video has been released today, Tuesday, May 2. These two are serving looks all through the music video, and we love every second of it. The visual pays homage to classic eighties music videos. It was giving some Olivia Newton-John’s “Physical.”

Kim Petras Speaking Highly Of Nicki Minaj

This track will be on Kim Petras’ major-label debut album. The singer has opened up to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, saying, “She (Nicki Minaj) just changed my life in so many ways with that verse, and that verse rips.” Petras has then gone on to call Minaj inspirational and the “greatest ever.”

The Queen Of Rap’s Fit

Nicki captures the screen with a bomb-slicked-back red mid-ponytail and a latex outfit. But not just any latex; it was a red patent business top and matching black pencil skirt. Minaj bounces back and forth throughout the video between this look and a black latex body con dress with black gloves. This looks especially sexy with Onika’s entire back of the dress open. Barbie had to complete the look with a side blonde pony with bangs.

Ice Spice Has Two Songs on the Billboard Top 100

It’s hard to believe Ice Spice arrived on the scene less than a year ago. In 9 short months, the artist cracked the code to today’s pop-rap.

The Rise Of Isis

The soft voice of PinkPantherss paired with a catchy 16-bar rap by Ice Spice, real name Isis Naija Gaston, has completely dominated social media and radio for months. And rightfully so.

“Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2” is a certified hit for both artists and a massive step in their careers. Currently sitting at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 after debuting at #14 back in February, the cutesy and smooth track has caught the eye of older casual radio listeners and young TikTok users.

At this point, it goes without saying. Ice Spice is one of the trendiest female rappers working. While many claimed her initial breakout hit “Munch (Feelin’ U)” was just a fluke, the 23-year-old quickly put those claims to rest with her sophomore single “Bikini Bottom.”

Both songs gained millions of views on YouTube in a matter of days and easily built Isis a sizable fanbase. From there, the New York star capitalized on this newfound demographic by releasing her first EP, “Like..?,” in January. Singles from the tape like “In Ha Mood” and “Gangsta Boo” featuring Lil Tjay leaked on TikTok weeks prior to the drop, not only building up hype for Ice Spice but proving people are hungry for her unique, laid-back take on drill rap.

The release of “Like..?” only further propelled the artist into the spotlight, selling around 15,000 album units in its first week. This debut trailed closely after industry powerhouses like SZA, who sold 17,600 units of “Ctrl” during the first week after release.

“Like..?” had several standouts that went viral on social media, but none had the potential of “Princess Diana.”

The Queen And Princess

“Princess Diana” is the track on the “Like..?” album that arguably shows the best of Ice’s charisma and budding rap skill. With over 18 million streams on Spotify, Ice Spice’s fans obviously selected the song as a sleeper hit. Luckily, it wasn’t just the munchkins that saw the song’s capabilities.

Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice released the official music video for “Princess Diana (Remix)” on April 17th and instantly broke the internet. If you were on Twitter that week you simply couldn’t escape the bright pink set accompanied by Nicki and Ice in matching pink outfits. Both rapper’s fanbases praised the song and its hyper-feminine visuals; the chart performance is nothing to scoff at.

Since the drop, Ice Spice’s and Nicki Minaj’s “Princess Diana (Remix)” has risen to #4 on the Billboard Hot 100. This makes Ice Spice the only artist in Billboard’s top 10 occupying two spots at once. This would be an accomplishment for any artist, but it’s nearly unheard of for one as recent as Isis.

“I was walking towards the car, or some s**t like that, and somebody was trying to take a picture of me! I’m just mad, confused [as to] why he’s trying to take a picture of me. Then I realized it was because “Munch” was out,” Ice Spice shared Paper Magazine on her newfound popularity. “At some point, any time you step out of the car, instantly people know you, instantly screaming your name.”

Ice Spice certainly has to get used to the limelight because the general public wants to see plenty more of this rap freshman.

J-Hope And J. Cole Score Billboard No. 1 With “On The Street”

“All hail the mighty survivor of hell,” raps J. Cole in “On the Street,” a collaboration with rapper J-Hope of BTS. In early March, it was announced J. Cole and J-Hope would be collaborating, causing commotion amongst fans of both artists.

Since its release, “On the Street” has steadily climbed the Billboard charts. The track earned the no. 1 spot on the R&B/ Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales and the Rap Digital Songs Sales charts. Hope is now the second member of BTS to earn two no. 1 song on the latter chart, tying with bandmate and fellow rapper Suga. According to Billboard, this also marks J. Cole’s best charting song since 2021.

The song is a sentimental reminder of why both artists picked this genre. J-Hope laments that it’s the fans that have carried him to the top. In his verse, Cole explains that his talent is god-given and raps a vaguely existential verse about his future and whether or not he will continue rapping. The track ends with both artists harmonizing, and the video features a sweet moment between the two, meeting up on a rooftop in New York, overlooking the Manhattan Bridge.

An Idol Meets His Muse

As a rapper and K-pop idol in one of the biggest bands in the world, BTS, J-Hope is no stranger to praise or the Billboard charts for that matter. However, Hope saw this as an opportunity to pay homage to perhaps his greatest hip-hop influence, J. Cole. The pair met backstage when Hope headlined Lollapalooza. After J-Hope’s set, In a behind-the-scenes look at the music video, J-Hope expressed his feelings about making music with someone he respects so much.

“When I started listening to music, the first artist I listened to was J. Cole. Being able to work with J. Cole after 10 years as a fan, I’m so happy. It’s just all new, and I still can’t believe it.”

And the feeling is apparently mutual, as J. Cole was the one to reach out to the rapper after their initial meeting. Cole described working with Hope as a “blessing,” pleasing fans of both artists.

It’s A Bittersweet Moment For Army

For those who may not know, South Korean men must serve mandatory military time. This is J-Hope’s, or Hobi as fans lovingly call him, way of saying goodbye for now before he returns as part of the pop sensation BTS in 2025.

Last year, the group’s oldest member Kim Seokjin began his service despite fans, or the army, half-joking about taking his place. And it’s likely when the other members go, they will be met with similar jokes, tears, and well wishes. Getting another Billboard hit for both artists not only further cements them as rap stars but is a full-circle moment for these artists to come together after years of mutual admiration.

Federal Court Ruled Against Tasha K

A federal court ruled against YouTuber LaTasha Kebe and her appeal against the guilty verdict in a defamation lawsuit she lost against the superstar.

The YouTuber sought a new trial for months but still took an L, while Cardi took home the W.

The jury unanimously voted the blogger was liable for defamation, invasion of privacy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress in January 2022.

A judge forced Tasha to delete all untrue posts about the “WAP” rapper.

It was a five-page decision after years of back-and-forth between the pair.

What Happened? What Did Tasha K Say?

This all takes place after Tasha K spread false information about Belcalis. Cardi was not playing with her, as this info could tarnish the rapper’s reputation.

Kebe reportedly claimed that the “Press” rapper had an STD, worked as a prostitute, and used drugs.

YouTuber’s Legal Argument

The gossip news personality argued that the verdict had been reached without enough evidence.

The court allegedly said she did not adequately present the argument, and her legal team did not properly argue specific evidence be withheld while the trial took place.

How Is She Paying Cardi Millions?

Tasha K joked on Instagram about needing to take up a second job to pay off debt. The vlogger photoshopped herself in a McDonald’s uniform with a quirky caption.
