Diddy Plans To Create The Largest Black-Owned, Licensed Cannabis Company, Opening Opportunities For Minorities!

Diddy is making major moves as he plans to make his first investment within the cannabis industry. The rapper is seeking to purchase multiple licensed marijuana operations in three states costing up to $185 million.

According to Rap-Up, cannabis is currently the fastest-growing industry in the United States. If the U.S. approves Combs’s plan, then he will create the largest Black-owned and licensed cannabis company in the world. It will also be the nation’s first minority-owned and operated, vertically integrated multi-state operator.

Diddy’s Wish For Minorities!

Columbia Care and Cresco Labs are both major companies in the cannabis industry. While they plan to sell assets to the Bad Boy mogul for $185 million, many expect the industry to reach about $72 billion by 2030.

With 81% of cannabis businesses being white-owned, the artist is soon to own nine retail stores and three production facilities. His wish is to mainly close the gap for minority entrepreneurs interested in cannabis. Puff said his mission has always been to create more opportunities for Black entrepreneurs who’ve always been denied access. He continues to add, “this acquisition provides the immediate scale and impact needed to create a more equitable future in cannabis…. An historic win for the culture that will allow us to empower diverse leaders throughout the ecosystem and be bold advocates for inclusion.”

Combs Enterprises President, Tarik Brooks, sat down with Bloomberg Markets and Finance to discuss opportunities and ways the company plans to expand in the cannabis world. Brooks stated it is very rare that an African-American entrepreneur gets to participate in the development of this industry. He goes on to say that as cannabis will continue growing, it is important to bring diversity to the field. Columbia Care CEO and co-founder, Nicholas Vita, added that the Combs team would make a great impact in the industry. “We can’t wait to see how he helps shape the cannabis industry going forward through his entrepreneurial leadership and innovation.”

Charlamagne The God Believes Yung Miami’s “Caresha Please” Shouldn’t Have Earned Best Hip-Hop Platform, Calls The Win “Bulls**t”

Yung Miami teamed up with her boo Diddy, embarking on a new chapter together in the industry. The City Girl hosts her very own podcast on Revolt TV, Caresha Please which Puff executively produced himself. The Miami native usually receives positive feedback on each of her episodes. However, many fans were shocked to see she claimed the Best Hip-Hop Platform BET Hip-Hop Award.

Charlamagne Tha God disagrees with the votes!

On Wednesday, October 6th, the Breakfast Club host shared his thoughts with Revolt chairman Diddy during his appearance on the morning show. He said, “I love Caresha, but it tied with Drink Champs. Diddy you know that’s some bullshit,” Diddy clapped back, calling Caresha Please the “best podcast of the year!” Charlamagne continued asking the “Gotta Move On” artist if he paid for the show to win, which Diddy immediately shut down.

Yung Miami’s award got fans questioning the votes!

Being that the Act Up rapper only produced five episodes thus far, viewers are curious as to how Caresha Please could beat other podcasts like Million Dollars Worth of Game and Drink Champs. One user @yummycheesekake tweeted, “Ain’t no real way Caresha please won podcast of the ”year” over drink champs & million dollarz worth of game…. It’s a good podcast but of the “year” ….naaaaaaaaah …. Diddy still robbing niggas I see.” Another user @2burgos said, “Caresha Please should’ve NEVER Won over Drink Champs or Million Dollars Worth of Game. Caresha Please shouldn’t have even been Eligible to win until next year. Diddy forsure paid for that. That’s why all these Award Ceremonies are BS!”

Yung Miami fires Back!

As Twitter rants about who should have really won the BET Award for Best Hip Hop Platform, Yung Miami didn’t hesitate to respond to all the backlash. She say’s, “Not y’all mad #Careshaplease won an award? Awwww :’(.” As many of the comments were more on the negative side, one fan @Khadijah9310 wrote, “Lol let’s celebrate with a new episode!”

Jermaine Dupri Accepts Diddy’s “Hit for Hit” Rap Battle In Atlanta!

Jermaine Dupri has been trying to verse Diddy in a Verzuz battle for a while now, however, the platform has encountered some legal issues but Diddy still makes an offer.

According to HipHop Dx, Swizz Beatz and Timbaland are facing legal battles against Triller over Verzuz, so it’s unknown if we’ll be seeing a return anytime soon. Fans, however, are waiting for major epic label showdowns. Irv Gotti even stated on Drink Champs, that the only label that could match against his own would be Bad Boy Records, although Diddy has another challenge already brewing.

Jermaine Dupri and Diddy “Break The Internet!”

Jermaine Dupri suggested back in 2020 that he and Diddy would “break the internet” if the “Gotta Move On” artist accepted his Verzuz challenge. Diddy clapped back and teased that Dupri didn’t have enough hits. In the meantime, the Bad Boy mogul has been going live on Instagram along with several other artist’s such as Mary J. Blige, Timbaland, and Tory Lanez to discuss modern day R&B, and included in the mix was a surprise of Dupri. Puff said “J.D., if you want that smoke, you can get that smoke anytime,” Dupri, however, responded back, “relax.” Diddy continued to add, “Since we ain’t f*ckin’ around with Verzuz no more since because they f*ckin’ around with our boys, we don’t need to be going against each other. Let’s come together and do that Bad Boy, So So Def in Atlanta… It ain’t no Verzuz, it’s just hit for hit.”

Jermaine Dupri Ready for the smoke!

Dupri accepts Diddy’s “hit for hit” offer and is ready for a time and date. Twitter is also ready and many fans are already placing bets. User @RuncieDan says “will be a good battle but i got JD on this one mainly because he actually makes the beats.” Another User @Simplyyyycee said, “Jermaine Dupree MIGHTTTT spank Diddy lmao I just looked up all his records and shit. YUNG MIAMI AND P-DIDDY CONFIRM DATING RUMORS

All the waiting and speculations are over. In the first episode of Yung Miami’s new podcast, Caresha Please, hosted by Revolt TV, the City Girl member questions P-Diddy regarding their relationship. Diddy finally confirms he and Miami are “dating”, even though he still holds the status of a single man.

According to Hip-Hop DX, Yung Miami has denied in the past several times that she and Puff were not dating. The “Rap Freaks” artist was interviewed by the WGCI Morning Show back in December of 2021. Miami was asked if she and P-Diddy were an item to which she said, “No.” Over the last year, the two rappers have been spotted multiple times together. They seem to enjoy getting food, attending major events, and even vacationing together.

Miami puts Diddy on the spot!

Last night’s episode reveals Miami asking Diddy, what exactly they are, as far as their relationship. Diddy replies, “We date. We’re dating.” He continues to say, “We go have dates, we’re friends, we go to exotic locations, we have great times, he said. “We got to strip clubs, church. I’m gonna take you to church.” She also proceeds to ask him what he likes about her to which his response is that she’s “authentic, one of the realest people I’ve ever met.”

The Miami rapper has been also going at it on social media with Only Fans model, Gina Huynh. The two seemed to be arguing over the Bad Boy Records mogul as Huynh posted a picture of him kissing her cheek. Caresha took to twitter to say “Somebody please give this bitch some attention,” to which Huynh says back, “If anyone’s seeking attention, it’s you. Suck my d*ck. IDGAF.” Miami then clapped back saying, “Attention? Bitch I am the attention let’s be clear. Notice me please bitch go sit down! WE SEE YOU RELAX IT’S ok! You been (AROUND) just (AROUND) for years! You been waiting on this moment if he can’t make you famous bitch I ain’t!”

Although it seems that Diddy may still be seeing other women as he claims himself a single man, him and Yung Miami have been in a good place and remain happy, as they date as friends who are just having fun.  Check out the first episode of Caresha Please above, as it is currently trending number 1 on Apple Music Podcasts.

Mase Releases New Single Targeting Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

On Mar 15, rapper Mase released his new single “ORACLE 2: Standing On Bodies.” An alleged sequel to “The Oracle (Cam’Ron Diss),” released in 2017.

Yet, what caught fans’ attention is that the song seems to be dedicated to Sean Combs, a.k.a. Diddy a.k.a. Puff Daddy.

The song doesn’t directly target Diddy. There are several lines that many fans of both Mase and Diddy believed to be about this unfriending.

Lyrics & Meaning

According to XXL, numerous phrases throughout the song mention key moments between the two artists.

“N****s sayin’ let it go

You buggin’ n***a, I can’t let it be

Tell n****s don’t call for me, I can only talk for me

I know what my budget read

I read the budget every week, then they tried to dangle money; they didn’t think I’d ever leave.

N****s never pay the artists

But they love to pay the freaks.”

The song’s first verse allegedly refers to Mase’s attempt to buy the publishing rights from Diddy in 2020. Mase supposedly describes Diddy’s recording label as “a horrendous business model.”

In “ORACLE 2,” Mase also references how the CEO of Bad Boy Records explodes from Notorious B.I.G.’s death.

“Right now, I’m only saying what you really work

You ain’t no architect

You just a n***a who know how to market death

Go pay his mother what she really worth…”

Mase & Diddy: From Friends to Enemies?

Business and personal relationships are not always a good combination, especially if one of the two parties fails.

For those of you who haven’t been following this story, you probably wondering what the factor that ruined and ended the friendship between Mase and Sean Combs was.

During the ’90s, they were good friends—best friends maybe?—composing many songs together. However, everything changed with some allegations that the Bad Boy founder wasn’t paying his artists fairly. That also includes Mase.

Several former artists revealed their ex-boss didn’t pay them their respective earnings-or sometimes anything at all. Since then, Diddy’s record label, Bad Boy Records, doesn’t exactly have the best of reputations.

Apparently, Sean Combs refused to pay Mase for the profits during his early career as a rapper. Wow.

After these misunderstandings and possibly arguments, the friendship ended. However, in recent years, Mase has used his social media to bring up this story from time to time.

The 2020 Grammy Awards

During the 2020 Grammy Awards, Diddy took the stage to talk about all the problems related to the music industry’s lack of diversity towards the hip-hop genre.

“I’m being honored by the industry that I love, the family that I love, but there’s an elephant in the room, and it’s not just about the Grammys,” Diddy said during his speech. “This discrimination and injustice everywhere is an all-time high.”

Interestingly, after this speech, Mase quickly took to his Instagram to expose his former friend. The artist mentioned Puff Daddy’s Grammy speech and old business between them, calling Diddy’s business model “horrendous.”

“[You] still got my publishing [rights] from 24 years ago in which [you] gave me $20k,” Mase informed. “Which makes me never want to work [with] [you] as any artist wouldn’t after [you] know someone is robbing you & tarnishing your name when [you] don’t want to comply.”

Surprisingly, Diddy hasn’t commented on Mase’s new single yet.

While we wait for Bad Boy Records CEO response to the alleged allegations of greediness, FMHipHop will be keeping an eye on this. Just like the latest stories in the world of Hip-Hop and entertainment.
