Saweetie and a Fan Share a Moment at Rolling Loud Miami

One fan found himself the object of Saweetie’s eye at the Rolling Loud Miami stage Friday. After performing “Don’t Say Nothing,” a man in the front caught the rapper’s eye. Before asking his name, she said “I love being single but um, this gentleman right here … he got this little chain on.” She then announced to the crowd that the man is “my type,” referencing one of her biggest hits. This led to her performance of “My Type.”

A video of the interaction went up on TikTok with the poster, Will Muan, claiming to be the man from the festival. In the video, you can see Saweetie point out a man in a white tank top. The surrounding crowd seems to hype him up as they continued interacting. The comments under the TikTok were supportive of the moment as well.

Social Media Reacts To The Viral Moment

Social media users had a lot to say about Saweetie shouting out Will Muan’s good looks. One Twitter user called Muan a “lucky S.O.B.” Another said, “This why you stay in the gym and get yo sh-t together guys!!!” A few people seemed to think the interaction was corny, some even though it was staged. However, most people commenting on the matter, thought it was cute.

Muan is enjoying the spotlight as well, posting another TikTok of him slow-motion walking to Saweetie’s “My Type.” Though there doesn’t seem to be a part two to the moment they shared, it remains a highlight of the festival. In addition to this, Saweetie’s performance generated a lot of buzz for her performance of “Don’t Say Nothing.” Fans dissected the track, some coming to the conclusion that it confirms the Lil Baby dating rumors circulating last year. The song’s lyrics imply a breach of trust and dating rumors, it’s unclear who the lyrics actually point to. Saweetie’s full set went up on Rolling Loud’s official YouTube account on July 23. The set has amassed over 20,000 views. You can watch it below.

Kendrick Lamar Addresses Clip Of Security Guard Crying During His Performance

Kendrick Lamar’s spent over a decade providing the world with music that reaches beyond surface-level enjoyment. Recently, a video surfaced of a security guard at Kendrick’s recent concert in Houston crying during his performance of the Zacari-assisted song “LOVE.

In a chat with the young upcoming interviewer on Jazzy’s World TV this past Sunday (July 24), the Compton superstar gave his reaction to the viral clip. “It’s really just about the feeling of it at the end of the day. Past all the politics, past all the numbers. It’s what music makes you feel, how it makes you feel,” Lamar stated before adding, “And shout-out to him by the way because I seen him, bro. I was like, man, I wonder what he going through?” Take a look at this fun interview clip below:

More About Kendrick Lamar’s Hit Record

“LOVE.” is one of the standouts from Lamar’s classic 14-track album “DAMN” from 2017. As a Kendrick fan myself, it’s not surprising to see this song (or any of his work) touch someone this emotionally. The song features the talented Zacari, a singer from Kendrick’s previous label Top Dawg Entertainment. It’s not only one of the biggest songs from “DAMN” but also one of the biggest in his entire discography. It’s an incredible track that features a thoughtful performance from Kendrick & a smooth chorus from Zacari.

His Rolling Loud Performance On Sunday

Kendrick Lamar headlined Rolling Loud Miami this past Sunday and did this interview with Jazzy’s World TV at the event. Additionally, he also brought out Kodak Black to perform their recent collaboration “Silent Hill.” It’s currently one of the biggest songs from Lamar’s most recent album & is easily a fan favorite. Was this one of the best moments from Rolling Loud Miami this year? Read more of FM Hip-Hop’s featured articles today.

Future Brings Out Travis Scott, Surprises Fans At Rolling Loud Miami

Many artists that took the stage at the Rolling Loud Miami festival. Some even brought out special guests. On Saturday, July 23rd, Future surprised many fans during his headlined set as he welcomed Travis Scott to the stage.

According to Hip Hop DX, rumor has it that Travis Scott was banned from performing at Rolling Loud as 10 people were killed during his Astroworld Festival back in November of 2021. The source reports his banning may have been the reason Kanye West stepped down last minute from headlining Friday’s show and was replaced by Kid Cudi. However, a spokesperson for Rolling Loud updated us in regards to Travis Scott’s headline saying, “We reached out to Travis to headline Rolling Loud, but it couldn’t work in such a short time. This had nothing to do with any restrictions from the hosting venue Hard Rock Stadium.”

As the festival welcomed Travis back to the stage, he performed several verses starting with “Hold That Heat” and “Goosebumps.” At Future’s request for Scott to stay, they then performed “March Madness.”

Although fans went wild over Scott’s return to the Rolling Loud stage, the rapper still faces many lawsuits. Other than the recent tragedy at Astroworld, in 2019 Scott’s Rolling Loud set got crazy as a stampede broke out. Concertgoer, Marchelle Love, claimed her leg broke during the stampede. Other fans were trampled as well as the crowed became extremely rowdy. She also stated local police and security had to step in but the situation was ignored by Scott.

Rolling Loud Miami 2022 has been a success with a series of events!

In more related news, Kanye West ended up performing “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1” with Lil Durk. Ye originally stepped down from headlining. His replacement, Kid Cudi, performed four songs ending his set after fans continued to throw objects at him. The festival consisted of many artists such as A$AP Rocky, Post Malone, Saweetie, Lil Baby, City Girls, Lil Uzi, Megan Thee Stallion, Jack Harlow, and much more.
