Young Thug’s Message From Behind Bars To T.I And Boosie Badazz

Young Thug, the charismatic rap sensation, may be facing legal troubles with the ongoing YSL RICO case. However, that hasn’t stopped him from stirring up the music world with his latest move. On June 29, Young Thug’s message on his Instagram Stories, spoke to rap legends T.I. and Boosie Badazz to drop their long-awaited collaborative project.

“Yo, @mamaheliveagain2.0 and @tip, ya’ll go ahead and drop that album together,” Young Thug wrote. “That’s all a n-gga wants.” It’s a bold request from someone who’s currently dealing with a lot on his plate, but Thugga’s enthusiasm for the joint project is evident.

What Do T.I and Boosie Badazz Have To Say About Young Thug’s Message?

Boosie Badazz has yet to respond to Thug’s message, leaving fans curious about his stance on the matter. However, T.I. showed his support by reposting the story on his own Instagram. Additionally, he included a series of emojis that suggested he’s on board with the idea. It’s a promising sign that the collaboration might finally see the light of day.

The journey toward this collaboration has been anything, but smooth for T.I. and Boosie. In February, Boosie declared that he was no longer interested in the project. This came after allegations that T.I. had snitched on a deceased relative in the past. “If he did that, you’re a fucking rat too,” Boosie bluntly stated during an interview with VladTV. After, the two engaged in a public back-and-forth. Eventually the artists made amends in April. Boosie announced that the album was back on track, along with a reality show.

During a conversation with Fat Joe on Instagram Live in November 2022. Boosie had already hyped up the album, claiming it would be harder than Drake and 21 Savage’s “Her Loss.” Now, with Young Thug’s endorsement, fans are eagerly awaiting the collab.

Young Thug’s request comes hot on the heels of his own new album, “Business is Business,” which features heavyweight artists like Drake, Future, and 21 Savage. Despite his current legal situation, Young Thug remains a force to be reckoned with. Continuously pushing boundaries and making his mark.

As we wait for the response from Boosie Badazz, it’s clear that Young Thug’s message is a sign he isn’t letting his legal troubles dampen his spirit. By keeping the music alive and encouraging fellow artists to create and collaborate. Whether or not T.I. and Boosie take note of Thugga’s call, one thing is certain: the anticipation for their joint project is reaching fever pitch, and fans can’t wait to see what these Southern rap legends have in store for them.

T.I. Speaks on Pivotal Moment With Denzel Washington

T.I. has set a strong presence in the community defining himself as a renaissance man due to his many bags. He has lent his talents to music, television, fashion, and film. He’s a hustler by motive and an entrepreneur by design. But when given the opportunity, he uses his platform to share his life experience and knowledge. On a recent Club Shay podcast, T.I. shared a pivotal moment with Denzel Washington that impacted his follow-through amid a significant opportunity.

Denzel Washington

Denzel Washington is a pillar in the community. His experience, work, contributions, and achievements have lifted him to the position of a sage in the culture. He is well-known for the caliber of the advice he’s given to guide the best of the best, including Chadwick Boseman and Will Smith. However, given Washington’s posture and character, few know the extent of his reach. But there are undeniably so many more who have fallen under the shadow of his wisdom. And T.I. is the most recent to come forward to share how Washington has inspired him.

T.I and Film

In 2007 T.I., otherwise known as Clifford Harris Jr.,  had the privilege of taking part in the Golden Globe nominated film American Gangster alongside Denzel Washington. Denzel Washington had the spotlight as Frank Lucas.

Vudu - Watch American Gangster (Unrated Extended Edition)

And given his impressive filmography dating back to 1984 on-screen and 1977 on television, he was the veteran on set. T.I. is no longer a sophomore actor. He has since spread his wings. However, he was just starting in the film industry at the time. American Gangster was his second big-budget film following the 2006 production ATL.  Nevertheless, his position in the cast did not stop Washington from providing T.I. with valuable advice while on set.

T.I. Recounts Washington’s Advice

52 minutes into the one-hour interview on the Club Shay Podcast, T.I. spoke about his experience with Denzel. Harris said he was pacing the set when Washington noticed his nervous activity. According to T.I., Washington stopped to ask,

“What’s up n***a, you nervous?”

T.I. responded earnestly. He had concerns about messing things up. As T.I. continued, Washington was supportive, providing much-needed clarity. At that moment, Denzel helped T.I. to see that he was there for a purpose. And he closed by having Harris acknowledge his understanding and telling him to fulfill that purpose.

Universal Advice

At the time, Washington’s advice helped T.I. jump the imposter syndrome hurdle, recognize he was where he was meant to be, and walk in the truth. That is advice that has universal applicability.  When one walks in purpose, accepts their appointment, and focuses on bringing their best, there is no need to overthink belonging. The greatest takeaway from T.I. and Denzel’s short exchange, which has indeed served Harris, is the idea that you can do it if you are led to it. And that is a gem for us all.

Hip-Hop Artists Spread the Love this Holiday Season With Charitable Giving

This week some of Hip-hop’s finest such as T.I., 50Cent, and Fetty Wap, have kept the spirit of the Thanksgiving season with their charitable giveaways.

Nine times out of ten, the headlines bleed. And the public is bombarded with stories of loss, abuse, and destruction. Nevertheless, that doesn’t mean there aren’t loads of gains, love, or success in the community. Unfortunately, it isn’t always highlighted. This week, some of the top names in hip-hop are demonstrating just how big their hearts are. This is regardless of what circumstance they have found themselves in. And that is spotlight worthy.

Curtis Jackson (50 Cent): Spreading Love in Houston

50 Cent is one of the most enterprising rap artists to hit the scene. This multitalented artist never ceases to discover ways to increase his influence. Not only is he an artist and entrepreneur, but he also exercises his financial savvy through serial investments.

According to Black Entrepreneurs and Executives, “Jackson has a highly diversified portfolio of companies in industries, including real estate, financial market investments, mining, boxing promotion, vodka, fragrances, consumer electronics, and fashion.”

Despite his immense success, 50 Cent still manages to give back. This week Jackson partnered with the Houston Rocket’s Clutch foundation, Specs, and Kroger. The G-Unity foundation and allied partners were able to help 1,000 individuals in Houston have a lovely holiday season, according to a source.

Clifford Harris Jr. (T.I.): Spreading Love in Georgia

T.I., another enterprising artist, also led by example with his charitable giveaway in Atlanta. However, this is nothing new for Harris. T.I.  has made significant strides when it comes to paying it forward. His philanthropy has not gone unrecognized. In 2019 the Georgia Senate recognized Harris for his charity and massive impact on his community.

And the giveaway he sponsored this year is an annual event he has committed to for seventeen years.

Willie Maxwell II (Fetty Wap): Spreading Love in New Jersey

There aren’t many who aren’t aware of Fetty Wap’s current state of affairs. The artist is currently incarcerated. But despite his current situation, he demonstrates that circumstances shouldn’t prevent one from giving. That is especially if it is within one’s power to do so. On November 23, the artist hosted a giveaway in Jersey with his family as his proxies. According to CBS, due to Wap’s generosity, many people in Patterson, New Jersey, will be able to have joyous holidays with their families and friends.

Surely, these aren’t the only artist who is spreading the love. However, they are examples of what it means to give out of the abundance that they have been given. And that’s a beautiful, inspiring thing that should never go unhighlighted. From the F.M. Hip Hop family, keep shining and leading the way. And from our family to all, Happy holidays!

T.I. Got Jeezy To Quit Dealing

During a recent Drink Champs interview, Jeezy talks about how he was influenced by Tip to focus on his music career instead of dealing.

Recently, Jeezy has been thinking a lot about the past.

Jeezy had been dealing cocaine since he was 11. He openly worked with the Black Mafia Family and even regularly showed up in their promotion videos. However, he did not sign with their label. Instead, he went with Def Jam. BMF’s co-founder, Big Meech, does not seem too fussed about this in retrospect.

How Jeezy left the drug game

While Jeezy was working on his major label debut, “Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101”, he was pulled aside by Tip to the bathroom. Tip did not want the conversation to be overheard. Jeezy was told to just focus on his music career. Tip told him that he can’t do both. He can’t deal drugs and make music. Things will not end up well if he continues down this trend.

Jeezy knows that Tip was also a drug dealer and asked about that. Tip told him that he had already quit that line of work a long time ago.

Tip did not need a wake-up call. In 1999, when he got his chance to escape the dealer lifestyle, he immediately took it. He only dealt drugs as a necessity. When his music career took off, he never looked back. He then used his time on the streets to invent trap music as we know it.

Jeezy took the advice to heart, much to the ridicule of his friends, since it is hard to get a successful music career. However, he got the last laugh when his music played on the radio.

Jeezy uses that time of his life for musical influence. He raps about what he knows and hustling is all that he knows.

A Joint Album & More For Boosie Badazz and T.I.

According to Boosie Badazz, he and T.I. have big plans for the future. They plan to work together on a new joint album and television show.

A Boosie Badazz and T.I. Joint Album

Boosie Badazz recently appeared on B High TV radio, where he dropped the news. The host asked Boosie about working with Yung L.A. on “36 Oz”. Yung L.A. got his break after signing to Grand Hustle Records. Naturally, one of the founders of Grand Hustle came up.

“Me and T.I. got an album on the way,” Boosie Badazz claimed.

Boosie decided to give out that information freely. The joint album between these two southern rappers is definitely a project to look out for. Boosie Badazz hints that the album is already in progress. “We sendin’ ’em back and forth, and we gonna get it in for the last rodeo and knock out our last five,” Boosie explained.

This also wouldn’t be the first time T.I. and Boosie have worked together on music. A joint album was most likely always in the air, and now it will finally become a reality.

A Reality Show For The South

The joint album is not the only project in the works. Boosie Badazz and T.I. have decided to put out a reality show. Their sons, King Harris and Tootie Raww will be the event’s focus. According to Boosie, the reality show will be called “Raw Ass Kids.”

King Harris and Tootie Raww have decided to follow in their fathers’ footsteps in more than one instance. Both kids are rappers but unfortunately, they have also been arrested. The arrests of T.I. and Boosie Badazz then made the Hip-Hop news circuit. These topics have a high chance of coming up in the show. “Raw Ass Kids” seems interesting, but for now, the show is only in the development phase.

T.I. and King have been on reality television before. T.I even had his entire family on “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle.” King also got a considerable following from the show after becoming a fan favorite.

T.I. and King have prominent personalities, making them perfect for a reality show. Also, Boosie will fit right in with the two of them, and if Tootie Raww is anything like his father, then the entertainment factor will not be lacking.

T.I. Allegedly Punched A Chainsmoker

T.I. allegedly punched The Chainsmoker’s member Andrew “Drew” Taggart in the face after he kissed the rapper on the cheek. Taggart explains the situation throughout the video uploaded to The Chainsmoker’s official TikTok page on Tuesday, August 16. The video begins with Taggart and fellow Chainsmoker Alexander “Alex” Pall posing for a picture with T.I. in a club. All of a sudden the video cuts to Taggart in a car with Alex and starts explaining the incident.

The video is a minute long and is titled “When meeting T.I. goes wrong”. The Grammy-winner explains he kissed the Atlanta native rapper because he was “feeling the vibes way too hard,” and admitted the punch was justified.  Like a lot of people, Alex can be heard laughing about the whole thing. Watch the full TikTok below.

@thechainsmokers

My bad T.I. won’t happen again… unless?

Basically, Taggart kissed the rapper without consent, but also admits that it was his fault. Finally, halfway through the video, Taggart states “First of all, T.I. is fully in the right here. I was feeling the vibes way too hard and I kissed T.I on the cheek. And he punched me in the face for it! It’s fully fine.”

Afterward, the two musicians are currently on good terms despite him getting punched in the face and the whole situation being incredibly awkward and weird, according to Taggart.

T.I. Moved On Quickly

T.I. has not responded to the video as of yet and seemingly has moved on from the whole matter. As a matter of fact, recently, he was awarded the Outstanding Georgia Citizen Award for his community service and philanthropic efforts in his hometown. He spoke at a ceremony at the Georgia State Capital stating “We will only be remembered by what we meant to our family, our children, and what we were able to do for others.” Another award that T.I. received is the Volunteer’s Achviement Lifetime on behalf of President Joe Biden. Which commemorates the rapper’s 4,000 hours of service to the United States.

T.I. Expresses Trap Music No Longer His Bag

Yesterday, T.I. made an appearance on Top Billin. The artist sat down to express where he was mentally when it came to music and current moves. According to T.I., he no longer has a Trap Music mentality. Instead, he’s moved beyond that, which says a lot from the man who made claim to inventing trap music in a 2017 interview.

On to The Next Thing

According to the artist, he’s moved beyond representing that lifestyle because he no longer lives that lifestyle. So, it would not benefit him to hold on to or represent what he’s moved past.

In T.I.’s words.

“I accept the fact I have acquired a special set of skills that I no longer get to use.”

T.I. is not only accepting and walking in his boss hood but owning up to greater realities, which is respectable.

Sometimes You Got to Let it Go.

It’s not easy to admit one has grown past a particular lifestyle, especially when portraying that type of lifestyle on stage and in the studio brings in the cash. However, some will refuse to let go no matter how far removed they are from that life.

As a source notes, some artists feel they have the right creatively to be a voice for the streets, mainly if it’s where they hail from. But while it may have legitimately been part of one’s come-up doesn’t mean that it continues to bear relevance over time. While the street hustle generally stays the same, things change. What was happening 10 or 15 years ago is not happening now. And it takes an intelligent individual to notice that and move accordingly.

T.I.’s Hustle

While some of his career moves and choices have been questionable to many, one must admit that T.I. has a great understanding. You must mix it up, or things will not continue to serve you. According to the Atlanta Black Star, The serial entrepreneur went on to say,

“Now, for me to go out there and continue to force those skills in the marketplace when I know I have no real stage to present those skills on, it’s counterproductive.

And that’s keeping it real.

The Future

T.I. is not one to drop his hustle, although he needs to switch lanes to do so. And If he continues to evaluate his strengths and weaknesses and sticks to areas of strength, he will continue to be successful. However, this is a mentality that must be applied to all endeavors. So here’s to seeing where the future will take TIP.

T.I.’s Epic Response To Being Booed During Comedy Show In Brooklyn

T.I. has made a name for himself as a man of all seasons. There is not much the hip-hop artist hasn’t delved in. He is an all-around personality in the entertainment industry. Recently Tip has begun bolstering his resume by adding the title of a comedian to the list.

T.I.’s New Venture

As a budding comedian, T.I. recently did a set in Brooklyn at Barclays Center. However, things didn’t quite go as expected. The artist was booed during his set. However, his response to the event is epic and speaks volumes of who he is stripped down: a man who leans into a challenge. In his words,

“It’s a different piece of adversity that I have been approached with overcoming. If they’ll let me go out there again, I’d go out there right now.”

https://youtu.be/9AbOrEkCAPE

No one can deny that is the response of maturity and passion.

Why Change Lanes?

T.I. is used to the accolades for his music. He acknowledges he’s aware of what he can do well. Now he is driven to rise to a new challenge.

“When s###’s too easy and there ain’t no challenge to it, I don’t care. That’s what got me out of music because it’s almost like people expect me to be good.”

That gets mad respect.

T.I. and Comedy

Not everyone starts great as T.I. has experienced. Many have spoken of the difficult road they have traveled to build a reputation in comedy. So, T.I.’s challenge is nothing unordinary. And who knows where he may be in time? New directions are rarely bad things.

Potential for Success

One thing is sure; he’s got the attitude and the drive to succeed. He looked at what could have been negative and flipped it on its head. So,  what others took as a moment to disparage, he took it as an invitation to rise to greatness. As he puts it,

“I embrace the hate. But it wasn’t even hate; it was on some, ‘This is our opportunity to really make you one of us.’ And I appreciate that. I ain’t got no problem with that.

That’s legit awesome.

What To Make Of The Whole Experience?

In this case, a less-than-positive night became a steppingstone. So, there is nothing to sensationalize, only straight facts to relay in support of an artist taking control of life, changing course, and making the best of it. All the best to T.I. May his success on the road ahead match the seeds of passion he has planted to pursue his new goal.

Comic Lauren Knight And T.I. Make Up After Heated Dispute

After rapper T.I. got into a heated dispute with stand-up comedian Lauren Knight on Monday, April 4, the smoke now appears clear. The two made up the night of the altercation.

Both T.I. and Knight attended her open mic set, aptly named “One Knight Only.” The comic mentioned the rapper and his wife’s sexual assault allegations. T.I. didn’t like this and began shouting at the comedian, denying the claims.

The dispute between T.I. and Lauren Knight continued to escalate. The two traded barbs, swearing at one another. When Knight tried to change the subject, she continued to be heckled.

However, by Wednesday, April 6, the rapper walked back his statements. “She’s a young black woman fighting to use her voice for laughter,” he said. “I understand that may take us down dark roads at times, but there’s always an opportunity to find a beacon of light & produce a positive outcome.” He then posted a video of the two on stage, seemingly getting along.

“I’ve said from my entrance into the world of comedy that I intend to use my light to shine on others. To bring awareness to those who also have love and respect for the art form,” said the Atlanta rapper.

T.I. And Tiny’s Allegations

Last September, a Los Angeles judge dismissed a sexual assault case filed against T.I. and Tiny, the artist’s wife. The woman making the accusations alleged the rapper and his wife drugged, then assaulted her 15 years ago.

However, the statute of limitations in California dictated the case gets thrown out. Even though this is a relief for the couple, real names Clifford J. Harris Jr. and Tameka Cottle, there are also other accusations. Many of them are as well for drugging and sexual abuse.

While the direction of T.I.’s legal troubles is unclear, there is at least a conclusion to the tension between him and Lauren Knight.
