YoungBoy Never Broke Again is making an unexpected appearance.
In just two days, Tyler, The Creator, is releasing his new album, Call Me If You Get Lost. With a single released and plenty of promo done, the former Odd Future frontman is doing his job to get fans ready.
Excitement is brewing again with the revelation that YoungBoy Never Broke Again is featured on the album.
Yesterday, Tyler released a preview of “WUSYANAME.” The track features obvious background vocals from Ty Dolla $ign, which is interesting in itself. However, fans dug a little deeper.
Copyright takedowns appeared when fans uploaded the track to YouTube and other platforms. The takedowns reveal the track’s full name: “WUSYANAME (feat. Youngboy Never Broke Again & Ty Dolla $ign).”
Tyler continues to make interesting choices.
Certainly, YoungBoy is an unexpected surprise for this track. It has a 90’s R&B vibe, sampling H-Town’s 1994 track “Back Seat (With No Sheets).”
Of course, Tyler is no stranger to pushing boundaries with features. His last album, IGOR, had very unusual contributions from Lil Uzi Vert on “IGOR’S THEME” and Playboi Carti on “EARFQUAKE.”
Check out the preview for the track in question below.
Tyler’s new album, ‘Call Me If You Get Lost,’ is coming to us on Friday, June 25. A master hype builder, Mr. the Creator just posted another music video to prime us for the drop.
The billboard announcing the album
Announced on his Instagram, Tyler put the new video, titled ‘WUSYANAME,’ on YouTube. The video is gorgeously shot, taking place in a beach setting in the heart of a mountainous area. Once the music begins, Tyler pours out a heartfelt verse to the beautiful girl in the video, confessing love but ending the verse on the song’s title, asking for her name. The song is short, but it is likely just for video purposes, with a chance that it’s longer on the actual album. Last week, when he released the lead single, ‘LUMBERJACK,’ the video cut the song down as well.
From the LUMBERJACK music video
We also gotta acknowledge how Tyler comes in on this song. With his endless styles, there’s never any predicting as to what a new song will sound like. Here, Tyler serves rap fans some bars delivered with a masterful flow, all wrapped up in a caring vocal performance. With these two singles out, it’s fair to expect a decent amount of solid rap songs on the album. The content seems mostly love based, which is the predominant expectation in Tyler’s recent years.
Between the initial billboard, his funny videos, and lead songs, its clear that this piece will be just as unique as his other work. Beyond the consideration of rapping, Tyler, the Creator may just be the king of Hip-Hop in the last couple years and it looks like the crown might remain on his head.
After releasing a billboard, a funny teaser video, and a lead single, Tyler, The Creator finally announces the release date for Call Me If You Get Lost. His new album arrives on June the 25th, within three weeks of his initial announcement.
Tyler Baudelaire…?
With the date, Tyler also put out two photos, none of which are confirmed to be the cover art.
The first is reminiscent of Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s classic “Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version album”. Most curious about the license is that it’s issued to Tyler Baudelaire. This is not his real last name. Is this a new alter ego in the making?
The most exciting part of this is at the bottom. This gives credits to Tyler, The creator for the composition, writing, and arrangement of the album. This hints that he will be following his usual formula on his new album.
The second picture is an old-fashioned travel style painting with a low angle view looking up at Tyler, The Creator.
He’s holding two suitcases with a sailboat and mountains behind him. The travel theme in this picture as well as the license photo contribute very strongly to the title of the album. Hopefully, whatever ends up on the album’s face will be one of those, or just as great.
Tyler, The creator is coming through with dope cover art potential; a very interesting single, and overall great promotion. With that, we’re confident that Call Me If You Get Lost is gonna absolutely hit. With great album after great album on a consistent two-year basis, we can tell that Mr The Creator has something special waiting for us.
Are you excited about Tyler’s new album? Are you hoping that he continues in the direction of Igor? Do you like the throwback style of the LUMBERJACK single? Let us know!
Yesterday, Tyler, The Creator, treated fans to a surprise single. The new song, “LUMBERJACK,” features the former Odd Future frontman spitting braggadocios bars over a hard-hitting beat. Surprisingly, it also features energetic shouts from none other than DJ Drama.
The song’s instrumental comes from the 1994 Gravediggaz track “2 Cups of Blood.”
Tyler also released a music video for the track, though it does not feature the entire song released on streaming services.
He’s getting ready for something big.
In the past couple of weeks, the rapper-producer has been teasing fans about a possible new album. Billboards recently have appeared in various locations. They display a phone number that treats callers to a snippet of new music when they call.
Additionally, he previewed a separate snippet on social media this week.
Clearly, Tyler, The Creator, is prepping to release a new project. He’s consistently done this once every two years, dating back to 2009 with his debut mixtape Bastard.
The feature from DJ Drama and an interesting tweet even have fans wondering if the two could be working on a tape for Drama’s famous Gangsta Grillz mixtape series.
Tyler The Creator has a steamy makeout session with an anonymous female in a teaser for his song “SWEET.” The release of this short snippet follows the release of his song “LUMBERJACK,” which dropped today!
While it’s uncertain of what Tyler The Creator has in store, we can assume that he’s working on another project. His last project, IGOR, amassed a load of numbers, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if this upcoming album followed suit. The teaser was labeled “Side Street.” Taco, his longtime friend, also makes an appearance toward the end of the snippet.
Tyler The Creator had several billboards put up. It had the phrase “Call Me If You Get Lost” and a phone number. When callers dialed in, they heard a snippet of him having a conversation with his mother. This back-and-forth dialect comes with an anonymous tune.
Since IGOR, Tyler, the Creator has dropped songs like “Group B” and “Best Interest,” as well as the Coca-Cola jingle “Tell Me How.” He’s also helped make some ice cream flavors, starred in a Gucci campaign, and collaborated on Channel Tres’ “Fuego” and Brent Faiyaz’s “Gravity.”
His new track “LUMBERJACK” clocks in at nearly two minutes. He speaks about traveling to Utah, amongst other peculiar topics. You can check out the video below:
Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott & Tyler, The Creator set to headline Day N’ Vegas 2021
What happens in Vegas? A star-studded concert that is sure to be one of the biggest events of the year! Day N Vegas is a three-day concert experience of fun, food, and music held in Las Vegas, Nevada. The concert is set to be from November 12th through the 14th.
The concert has almost every big act imaginable, from Lil Baby to SZA to Ari Lennox. Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, and Tyler, the Creator, are set to headline the festival. All three of these headliners are interesting as they all have been rumored to have albums coming this year.
The Headliners and Other Guests
Tyler, the Creator, has already begun his rollout with a call-in number to hear different messages of his mom talking over a jazz track. Just yesterday, he released a video that seems to be a trailer for another jazz track, titled Side Street. Travis Scott has been teasing his follow-up to his 2018 album AstroWorld Utopia for over a year now. Lamar has been the most mysterious as he has been strangely off the grid for years, but pictures and leaked videos of a music video shoot have fans excited for a new project from the Compton rapper. However, the billing on the festival poster suggests Lamar’s performance will be a look back at his classic records instead of a new album or project. (“From Section.80 to Damn,” the poster reads, referencing Lamar’s first and latest album).
In addition to the headliners, Day N Vegas will also feature sets from DaBaby, YG, SZA, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, Doja Cat, Saweetie, Polo G, Ari Lennox, Don Tolliver, Griselda, Joey Bada$$, Cordae, Freddie Gibbs, Jazmine Sullivan, Thundercat, Isaiah Rashad, Earl Sweatshirt, Tinashe, Majid Jordan, Denzel Curry and more.
Presale tickets for Day N Vegas 2021 will go on sale on June 18th at 3 p.m. ET via the festival’s website.
Spotify’s RapCaviar set Twitter ablaze this past week with the question, “Who is the fourth spot on the Mount Rushmore of 2010’s Hip-Hop?” The first three spots are occupied by Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, and Drake, each of which received little to no backlash. After a week of debate, Nicki Minaj secured her spot as the fourth face.
There’s certainly not much to be surprised about by this choice. Since making tsunami level waves with her verse on Kanye West’s ‘Monster,’ Nicki Minaj has been a force in the game. Not only does she crank out consistent bops, but she sparked a necessary resurgence in female MC’s, leading to the Cardi B’s and Megan Thee Stallion’s out there. With her influence and overall talent, we’re happy to see her take the next spot.
The Runner-Ups
However, this is art and in art, there is no true answer! We have to show some love to the other contenders for Nicki’s spot as they’re all certainly deserving themselves. The poll posed by RapCaviar, based on commenter’s, was Nicki, Kanye, Future, and Lil Wayne, with the results being in that same order. Kanye and Wayne definitely deserve the regards, but their prime was debatably the previous decade. Future gained major props, with LeBron James even agreeing, though publicly, but lovingly corrected by Nicki herself in a funny tweet.
Very honorable mentions
Moreover, while RapCaviar narrowed it down to four, there’s plenty more MC’s deserve their flowers in terms of shaping the past decade of rap. The first that comes to mind has to be Tyler, the Creator. He founded the incredible Odd Future collective in his teen years and continues to accomplish. His shocking horrorcore raps in the first half of the decade are iconic but in the second half, he is now one of Hip-Hop’s most exciting moguls. With ‘Flower Boy‘ and ‘Igor,’ he has two all time greats in modern rap while also running dope fashion companies, Golf Wang & Golf le Fleur.
Of course, these are only some of his impressive accomplishments.
Other big contenders include Travis Scott and Young Thug, who continue to elevate the trap world. Travis stakes a bold claim, being Kid Cudi’s greatest offspring and the creator of some of modern rap’s finest projects. Young Thug also boasts a notable catalog and is known for putting on other MC’s, most prominently, Lil Baby.
There are more rappers trying to sound like Thugger than anybody else right now, a testament to his pioneering of voices and flows. Both artists definitely deserve their recognition for their influence in the past decade.
In closing, shoutout to RapCaviar for posing the conversation, it definitely led to endless debates and re-listens, which are all that us Hip-Hop heads can ask for. Congrats again to Nicki for being the people’s favorite, she deserves it!

Salutations FM Trendsetters and FM Hip Hop Heads! One of the most controversial rappers of this generation, Mr. Golf Wang himself, Tyler The Creator, has been known to be both lyrical and underrated by most. Some say his controversial madness and conflicts, as well as a media personality, outshines his talents. Others say his outlandish behavior seen in public overtakes his incredible punchline and rhyme ability. Most just say he is just plain “weird“. Well surprisingly, the Odd Future frontman surpassed the epic Father of Asahd album by DJ Khaled, which makes it the number one album on the Billboard 200.
