Dropping Knowledge Through Hip-Hop: Apollo Liberace’s Album And Its Educational Value

Many sources of inspiration are available to aspiring rappers currently making their way in the industry, such as Apollo Liberace. His recent releases include the singles “Love For Rap” and “Love From You,” as well as his self-titled album Apollo Liberace and music videos for both singles.

Following the release of his latest album and singles, there has been a noticeable increase in his online engagement. Each of his singles, “Love For Rap” and “Love From You,” generated over 30,000 views on YouTube, while his self-titled album Apollo Liberace gained over 560,000 streams on Spotify. These impressive numbers demonstrate the impact of Apollo Liberace’s music on his audience and show the growing fanbase he is building through his hard work and dedication to his craft.

The Benefits Of Running Your Own Independent Record Label

Apollo was previously part of the hip-hop group Minus Gravity, which was signed to Capitol Records in 2019. However, he has since decided to embark on a solo career and has transformed Minus Gravity into an independent record label.

As an independent label, Apollo will have more creative control over his music and the ability to release it on his own terms, without the restrictions and obligations of a major record label. This move also allows him to discover and promote other up-and-coming artists, giving them a platform to share their music with the world.

Exploring The Themes Of Apollo Liberace’s Latest Album

Releasing his self-titled LP, Apollo Liberace, on his birthday, February 27, the Maryland native embarks on a new journey as a solo artist. Through singles like “Love For Rap” and “Love From You,” listeners can gain insight into the album’s overall sound and style.

In his album, Apollo portrays his journey in the music industry, which includes his departure from a music group and his subsequent pursuit of a solo career. Additionally, he addresses the violence and hate often associated with rap music and expresses his views on this topic through his music.

Apollo’s decision to address hate and violence in rap music is commendable, as music significantly influences people’s attitudes and behaviors. The messages conveyed through music can affect people’s attitudes and beliefs regarding various topics, such as violence and hate. Through their platform, artists can facilitate positive change and challenge harmful attitudes and behaviors by addressing these issues. Bringing attention to hatred and violence in rap music can also combat negative stereotypes about the genre and demonstrate its ability for social commentary and change.

The Artistry Of “Love For Rap”: A Deeper Look At The Single

Apollo shares in songs such as “Love For Rap” that “This song encompasses the moods and emotions felt in a very pivotal moment of my life after having been signed to a major record label, and the business models used to control young artists.” His goal is to avoid the pitfalls of music politics while staying true to his process and passion for creating music.

As one of the tracks on his album, Apollo intends to highlight his distinctive talent for blending melodic sounds with socially conscious rap lyrics. Specifically, he addresses themes such as drug use and violence within the black community, the ongoing issue of gun violence and systemic racism, the impact of greed, and the urgent need to move away from a societal model that idolizes material possessions.

One should definitely keep an eye on the “On Ice” rapper, as he has a unique style that sets him apart from the typical rapper. Despite his unconventional approach, Apollo possesses the lyrical cadence to rival some of this era’s most prominent conscious and freestyle hip-hop artists. In a music industry where social media commercialization and clout chasing have become pervasive, Apollo defies these trends through his album. As a multifaceted artist, he can produce music that caters to the culture and progressive thinkers, challenging stereotypes and breaking new ground in the genre.

The Evolution Of Apollo Liberace: A Tale Of Music And Growth

Born on February 27 in Prince George’s County, Maryland, Apollo Liberace started his music career in the South, drawing inspiration from various music genres, including Rock, R&B, and Hip-Hop, from all regions of the United States. From an early age, he showed promise as a musician, starting with his involvement in church choirs and youth camps before eventually transitioning to performing at nightclubs and larger venues.

Initially, Apollo began his music career as a member of a trio based in San Antonio, TX, known as Minus Gravity. Since then, he decided to pursue a solo career and now performs under the name Apollo Liberace.

Liberace is a standout in the music industry for his exceptional performances and unwavering commitment to his craft. He pours his heart and soul into his music, setting him apart from his peers. In addition to being a gifted performer, Apollo is a versatile artist, serving as a singer, songwriter, producer, hip-hop artist, and audio engineer. He takes complete control over the creative process in the studio, demonstrating his passion and expertise in all aspects of music production.

His global fan base eagerly awaits each of his releases, eager to hear his distinctive fusion of high-energy rock, soulful R&B, and thought-provoking Hip Hop. As an artist, Apollo consistently pushes the boundaries of musical artistry, refusing to be limited by the constraints of any one genre. His creative approach results in a rich, multifaceted sound that sets him apart from his peers and positions him for great success.

Teenager Who Created Neo-Nazi Videos That Ignited A Racist Buffalo Mass Shooting Is Sentenced To 11 Years In Prison

As the American writer Kilroy J. Oldster once wrote: “Hate springs from fear. Behind every hateful crime and act of human brutality is an admission of fearfulness.” In a recent case, a U.K. teen responsible for creating racist content, deeply influenced by a neo-Nazi who recorded himself murdering Black people in a Buffalo grocery store, serves 11 and a half years in prison.

For creating neo-Nazi video propaganda that advocated terrorism, Daniel John Harris, 19, will spend the next decade behind bars. His sentence warns those who choose to develop and spread hateful messages of racism and violence.

At least seven mentions occurred of Harris and his work by the shooter who live-streamed his murder of ten people at a grocery store in May 2022. Additionally, gunman Anderson Lee Aldrich responsible for shooting a gay nightclub in Colorado, killing five and injuring 17, reportedly consumed them. This serves as a dire reminder that hateful speech people produce and spread can have real-world consequences and should be of grave concern.

Daniel Harris Was Aware Of His Actions

The arrest of Harris took place on May 16, 2022, two days following the attack in Buffalo, and the U.K. teen pleaded guilty in December. Late last week, he was sentenced. Daniel’s sentencing confirms the severity of the crime. It highlights the need for global collaboration of law enforcement agencies to take swift and decisive action against the white supremacy movement.

A fairly long diary the Buffalo mass murderer kept during the days preceding the shooting also references Harris’ videos. Within the shooter’s online journal, he wrote, “Shout out to (Harris’ online name) thank you for your service.” This suggests that Harris’ videos inspired the shooter and likely directly influenced his motivations for committing the mass murder.

According to the authorities, the teenager was aware of the deadly consequences of his actions.

“The threat he posed became such that we had to act in order to ensure the safety of the wider public. The reference to one of his videos in the prelude to the Buffalo attack is a case in point,” said Counter-Terrorism Detective Inspector Chris Brett. “Harris could see the reaction his videos were getting. This was not a one-off, this was not a game, this was a concerted effort to generate a following and influence people.”

U.K. Teen Was Not Only Trying To Attract Attention

Furthermore, the U.K. teen was not content with simply drawing attention. Police allege that Harris attempted to turn his influence into a tangible weapon by using a 3D printer to create a handgun. These propagandists are using persuasive techniques to mislead and manipulate vulnerable populations, thus posing a severe threat to our global security.

“Harris’ arrest shows the international nature of the violent online extreme right, especially the subset of individuals who glorify attackers such as the Christchurch terrorist,” Joshua Fisher-Birch, an analyst on the far-right at the Counter-Extremism Project, told VICE News. “While many of these individuals are concerned with committing attacks in their area, they are also part of this online community that seeks to encourage violence in other locations in the name of white supremacism.”

Violence – Inciting Incidents

According to Fisher-Birch, there have been other cases of supporters facing arrest for their part in inspiring extremists of the far right worldwide.

A Slovakian man, for instance, was sentenced to six years in November 2022 for his involvement in terrorist acts, and Fisher-Birch asserts that he was “an important player within the international neo-Nazi accelerationist online community and spread information helpful in committing terrorist attacks.”

In another similar instance, in February 2019, Benjamin Bogard, a college student from New Braunfels, Texas, was arrested on child pornography charges after an anonymous online tipster alerted federal authorities to his Instagram account, which featured numerous videos of him clutching weapons and threatening violence against minorities.

Neo-Nazi Videos By The U.K. Teen Remain Online

It is still possible to find remnants of Harris’s online presence, as many of the videos the U.K. teen posted can be viewed on streaming platforms with lax moderation policies. It’s like picking through a post-apocalyptic landscape to find bits and pieces of the civilization that once was. The remains of ancient artifacts are still present from time to time, but they are only a shadow of what once existed.

Among his videos are a feature-length video celebrating the Christchurch shooter and videos advocating anti-vaccination and untruths regarding COVID. As a final video, Daniel celebrated the Buffalo killings. On a Neo-Nazi video platform where the Buffalo shooter participated, only one video resonated, one where the teenager explicitly called for “subhuman” killings.

The judge who handled the case described the teenager as an extremely dangerous young man who produced obscene artwork. Also, he believes that the killers accomplished exactly what Harris intended them to do.

Daniel Harris’ sentencing occurred at Manchester Crown Court on Jan. 27. Credit: PA Media.

“You intended to encourage terrorism, and it’s plain that what was being encouraged was lethal, racist, and antisemitic violence, as well as violence against the gay community,” said Judge Patrick Field KC, according to the BBC.

Sending A Message

It can be daunting to think that no matter where we go, we could be in danger of encountering those who choose hatred and violence. The world flourishes with hatred and violence. It can be challenging to understand why some people express their hatred violently.

We must find ways to prevent and address these hateful acts to create a safer world for everyone. Our world is sinful, and there is no perfect world. Educating ourselves, our families, and our communities about the dangers of hate and violence is ideal. We should also take action whenever we witness acts of violence. All grieving families are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Mexican Cities Allegedly Targeted By Drug Cartel Gangs Following Arrest Of CJNG’s Ricardio Ruiz

Another instance of alleged criminals being upset about the arrest of a member for engaging in dangerous activity. When will people cease to place criminal behavior above human decency? On Aug. 9, violent disturbances spread across several Mexican cities on the U.S. border.

A rumor spread to the neighboring state of Guanajuato later on Tuesday night regarding an attempt to arrest Ricardo Ruiz, or “Doble R,” a leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) and other cartel leaders. It resulted in a reported violent retaliation in Guanajuato and Jalisco.

Mexican Cities Under Attack

Deputy Security Minister Ricardo Mejia told reporters that armed men launched random attacks on Thursday and Friday in Ciudad Juarez. The incident resulted in the deaths of 12 people, including two prisoners killed during a prison riot, four radio station employees, and 20 more injured during a gang riot.

Moreover, the deaths across the Rio Grande from El Paso came days after roving packs of reported criminals set dozens of shops on fire in the south and obstructed major roads in parts of Jalisco and Guanajuato. According to Baja, California, 24 vehicles had been stolen and burned at various points across the state. It includes 15 in Tijuana, three in Rosarito, and two in Mexicali, Ensenada, and Tecate.

“Let them fight it out among themselves, but leave us alone,” said resident Blanca Estela Fuentes of Tijuana. “So they kill each other, they can do whatever they want, but the public, why are we to blame?

Moreover, the gang members of CJNG also allegedly participated in fatal shootouts and attacked innocent bystanders. In addition, hundreds of businesses, including gas stations and convenience stores, were reportedly set ablaze.

Help Has Arrived

This week, many Mexican cities have been victims of alleged widespread intentional fires and shootings by drug cartels. Mexico’s citizens have every right to be upset. However, acts such as these toward innocent citizens and the destruction of cities must be condemned.

Hundreds of Mexican troops were dispatched to Ciudad Juarez after random attacks occurred on Friday to reinforce security in the area.

Around midnight after Friday’s violence in Tijuana, the U.S. Consulate in Tijuana issued a directive to its employees asking them to “shelter in place until further notice” was given.

Following the attempted capture of a regional leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) and the subsequent night of terror, a security alert was issued late on Tuesday night.

Violence Has Plagued Mexican Cities For Some Time

There seems to be a tendency among some people to destroy cities or neighborhoods whenever law enforcement takes action against them.

Drug cartel militia attacks have battered many Mexican cities over the past four days. In some of the country’s largest cities, criminal groups continue to cause havoc without effective government intervention. Law enforcement is running out of ideas for stopping violence, which is a worrying development.

The federal department of public safety also declared that one person was injured due to the violence. Authorities from the federal, state, and local levels were contacted. As a result, 17 suspects were detained, including seven in Tijuana, four in Rosarito, and Mexicali.

Seeking Control

According to El Pais, despite belonging to a criminal organization, most cartel members are allegedly still teenagers and young children who cannot do much due to the isolated rural setting. They are big kids living in rural areas with nothing to do.

CJNG, Carteles Unidos, and the remnants of La Familia Michoacana and Caballeros Templarios have reportedly been fighting over state control for years. Likewise, local self-defense groups have become increasingly involved in the conflict.

A horrendous situation arises when people living in poor conditions or disturbed mental states resort to violence to make themselves stronger or survive. FMHiphop sends condolences to families who have lost loved ones to these senseless acts.

Boosie Badazz Confronts Man at Hotel After He Was Seen Being Rude To a Woman

Boosie Badazz confronted a man outside a hotel and claimed the man was being disrespectful towards a female staff member. The rapper has never been one to hold his tongue and proved this once again when he got in the man’s face and began to shout loudly. Just so the man knew that the way he was talking to the female staff member upset the Louisiana native.

Boosie heard the man talking to a female staff member in an unpleasant tone and was not having it. In a video shot outside the hotel, though the exact location is unknown, Boosie jumps into action almost immediately. In the video, posted by Justin Whitehead, Boosie tells the man “You ain’t gonna talk to her like that. I will beat your azz!! You ain’t gonna talk to no women like that.”

As soon as Boosie Badazz is involved the air in the situation seems to shift drastically. The man who supposedly was being unpleasant towards the female staff member is suddenly quiet. The video shows Boosie surrounded by hotel employees trying to deescalate the situation. The woman who was supposedly being disrespected is also trying to calm the rapper down. People have pointed out the man in the black shirt, in the video, who seems to be stretching like getting ready for something to happen.

Thankfully the issue was resolved without anyone getting hurt, but as soon as the video popped up online, Boosie thought he should explain himself.

Boosie Badazz’s Explanation

“The reason I told that man that because he backed a woman down until she could do nothing,” Boosie said in a tweet. “He kept approaching her after she said sorry. Then he said no you go apologize to my wife too!! he was doing the most don’t let that video fool u.”

Boosie claims that the man kept pressing the woman even after she apologized, so he decided to step up. Read more stories on Boosie Badazz at FM Hip-Hop.

Jay-Z responded to Faizon Love’s claim that he lied about his past as a drug dealer during his verse on Pusha T’s new track “Neck & Wrist.” Although Love’s comments date back almost two years, this is the first time Hov has addressed them.

“The phase I’m on, love, I wouldn’t believe it either/I’d be like, ‘Jay-Z’s a cheater,’ I wouldn’t listen to reason either/All I know is he’s a felon, how is he selling,” Jay raps on the new song.

Jay-Z initially came under fire from Faizon during an appearance on the Hip-Hop Uncensored podcast in 2020.

“I like Jay-Z,” Faizon Love said at the time. “I like him as a guy and the whole thing he created about this fake dope dealing. That’s when I stopped liking him. This n***a ain’t sold no cocaine in his life—I don’t think he’s ever won a fight.”

Bill Guyer, a former police detective, investigated Pearl’s situation and the stories from other women also. Finally, after years of waiting, five women filed a civil lawsuit.

Raz Simone Denies Sex Trafficking Allegations.

“It’s been a plan they put together years back. The money’s on the line, and they’re using it like a class-action lawsuit,” Simone stated. His attorney, Corinne Mullen, chimed in to say she believes this lawsuit will soon end.

Raz Simone
Simone denies all allagations made against him.

“Young, vulnerable women” involved in sex work are the victims Simone targets, court documents show. The Plaintiffs state, “He wins them over with affection, and pitches the relationship as a chance to grow, find success and be a part of his family.”

The women also claim that they must’ve brought him a decent amount of money to stay on Simone’s good side. He would have them strip or perform other sexual acts in which he would take their money after. He also enforced strict rules on their diet and how they could act, and if the girls did not comply, he would threaten them and get violent.

‘Alot Of This Sh*t Fake’ Lil Durk Advises against Jewelry Shopping

One of the more prominent names in hip hop and quite frankly by the numbers is becoming a household name among the heavyweights in the rap game is Lil Durk.

AKA Durkio aka Smurk advises against big-time flexing via his Instagram story.

Stop buying all this jewelry without knowing what you doing a lot of the shit is fake and some is overpriced get 1 jeweler and stick to em I’m telling you y’all ass gone be pissed when the truth comes out.”  (Per HNHH).

https://twitter.com/KinggrF/status/1437688671319121923?s=20

What was the motivation behind the message? We don’t quite know. However, we are certain that it was aimed at someone. Rappers are no strangers to a “luxurious lifestyle”. They don’t mind reminding you just how broke you really are. Yet who can blame them if you’ve been at the bottom? Durk might be explaining things from behind the scenes he obviously knows something about the jeweler industry that we all may not know.

Durk: Keep it on the DL?

Apparently, certain rappers don’t know it either. Perhaps Dirk’s intended message was to not draw any unwanted attention your way especially if you are adapting from a street lifestyle into a popular artist one. Lil Durk may be going through some major life-changing events after he and his girlfriend were shot at earlier this summer. Right before that occasion, Durk lost his older brother, gunned down amid the release of his with Lil Baby, “Voice of the Heroes”.

Durk also stated that he would not be a name drop any more people in his music moving forward. This sounds like a Durk maturing as an artist and as a man. We hope to continue to see more of his leadership in the rap game. Leave us a comment telling us what you think about Lil Durk advising against certain jewelers in the rap game.
