Teenage Quartavius Mender is taking the term super fan to a whole new level. This teen is currently facing over a dozen felony charges after threatening to murder Fulton County sheriff Patrick Labat on Instagram.
Quartavius Mender was apprehended by Atlanta police last week (May 26). Mender apparently made now-deleted threats while demanding the release of Young Thug, Gunna, and the rest of YSL in wake of their RICO charge.
Young Thug and many close associates were arrested last month on racketeering, murder, and robbery charges, just to name a few. According to officials, Quartavius typed out several death threats to sheriff Labat, his wife, and the Atlanta Public Schools Police Chief Ronald Applin. Clearly, Mender’s plan was to bargain one of these three lives for the immediate freeing of his idols. But of course, this didn’t pan out.
“We take these kinds of brazen threats seriously,” the Fulton county sheriff explained in a statement. “Social media cyberbullying, and hiding behind a keyboard, will not protect someone from criminal prosecution. Our investigators are diligent in seeking individuals who mean to do harm to anybody, and I am grateful to them for ensuring the safety of myself, my wife, and all citizens of Fulton County.”
Young Thug remains behind bars
Quartavius mender currently faces 23 counts of terroristic felony threat. With his bond being denied, Mender remains in Fulton county jail . This Atlanta youth obviously went several steps too far. In an attempt to help, he landed himself in an almost equally poor situation.
Aside from this bizarre event, things are looking dire for Young Thug. The ‘Check’ rapper has officially been pinned as the head of the illegal affairs at YSL.
“He’s the top dog, he’s the most dangerous man here…” Prosecutors expounded to the judge this Thursday at a bond hearing. “he is the one they’re all afraid of, he’s the one that’s King Slime.”
Indeed, Thug’s hearing was a rough one. In addition to this narrative being made, Young Thug was also denied bond despite his attorney’s best efforts. This Atlanta icon is certainly going to need more than aggressive fans to get him out of this.
