2 Chainz is a basketball wizard in every sense of the word. Before becoming a famous rapper, the Atlanta native played college ball for Alabama State. Even though he is a full-time artist these days, Tity Boi finds time to participate in the game he loves.

Furthermore, in Massachusetts, 2 Chainz visited a gym at Salem State University on Thursday (Apr 21) to get some shots in before performing a special concert at the school. The 44-year-old posted a video of himself making a pair of jumpers from the three-point line on his Instagram Story. The video proves he is still in silky form after so many years.

“And you gotta look like this. That’s 2 Chainz right there,” Tity Boi boasted as he nailed a three-pointer before giving some basketball tips to his Instagram followers. “Pretty muthaf**ka where you following through all the way to the rim.”

Tity Boi Is A Part Owner Of An NBA G League Team

Apparently, playing basketball wasn’t enough for 2 Chainz. He reminded fans on Instagram this week that he owns a piece of the College Park Skyhawks. This team plays in the NBA G League and is affiliated with his hometown, Atlanta Hawks. Together with Tony Ressler and NBA legend Grant Hill, Tity Boi joined the ownership group in 2019.

In his post, the “Rap or Go to the League” album MC shared old footage of him playing for Alabama State. He then presented a picture of him holding up a Skyhawks jersey. “Played the game now I own it,” he stated in the caption.

The Drench God could have used more of his basketball expertise. Last February, he and Lil Baby lost a two-on-two basketball game against Quavo and Jack Harlow during the NBA All-Star Weekend in Atlanta.

In the end, Quavo won the Most Valuable Player award after surpassing Baby and Tity Boi in scoring. He grabbed 14 rebounds and blocked four shots on his own. In the aftermath of the game, the Migos rapper claimed to be the “best Hip-Hop basketball player in the world.” However, LeBron James believes that this title belongs to Lil Durk.
