Ye gave duo Diesel Brothers a steal of a deal on his massive Ripsaw EV2 tank. The brothers did not tell how much they paid for the tank but did tell TMZ that Ye gave them a sweet deal. In the same conversation, the brothers mentioned the tank’s DVD player had a consistent loop of K-pop music. It has been featured in the rapper’s music video for his song “Closed on Sunday.”
Ye and the brothers formed a partnership a while ago but it was not until last October for them to finally get together.
Who Are The Diesel Brothers?
The Diesel Brothers got their start on YouTube. After posting videos consistently on the platform, Jay Leno had them on his late-night show. Shortly after, they signed a contract with the Discovery Channel to have their own show. Simply titled Diesel Brothers, the show premiered in 2016, showing the duo repair and customize pickup trucks. It ran for six seasons. Its last season was in 2019, with a three-hour TV special titled Diesel Brothers: Monster Jam Breaking World Records premiering in 2020.
Ye is Off The Grid.
Ye recently released a video saying that he is giving up his phone to finish up the much anticipated Donda 2. Rolling Loud co-founder Tariq Cherif posted a video of Ye giving up his phone.“I don’t have a phone until two, twenty-two, twenty-two,” he said. “My focus is taking my kids to school and finishing the album.” Donda 2 is releasing on February 22, with Future serving as an executive producer.
Fellow producer Digital Nas, who worked with Ye on Donda, teased fans about the sequel. “If it cannot be played at a funeral, childbirth, graduation, a wedding, it will not be on our record.” He later revealed that Travis Scott may be on the album as well. He is also focusing on his upcoming headlining performances at Coachella 2022. In a recent interview, he mentioned that he will also be doing a Sunday Service each weekend before his headlining Sunday performances.
