Lil Baby confirmed on Twitter on Monday, new music and a new album are nearing completion. Meanwhile, “My Turn,” the artist’s blockbuster sophomore effort remains comfortably atop the Billboard 200 chart.

Baby Achieves Success Regarding Album
After retweeting a Chart Data posting confirming Lil Baby’s “My Turn,” Baby also announced the accomplishment, which spent 100 consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200. The album has consistently ranked in the “top 20” and has never dropped out of the top 100.
“My Turn,” Lil Baby’s monstrous 2020 music album, was released on Feb. 28 and then soared straight to number one on the Billboard 200 in its first week. Before the end of the year, the project had gone double platinum, earning over $19 million in the process. Baby had then won HipHop DX’sf with HipHopDX’s Rapper of the Year award.
Collaborations On ‘My Turn’
The album included Gunna, 42 Dugg, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Moneybagg Yo, and also Rylo Rodriguez. As well as the singles “Woah,” “Sum 2 Prove,” “Emotionally Scarred,” “All In,” and Grammy Award-nominated track “The Bigger Picture.” Which later became HipHopDX’s Hip Hop Song of the Year.
In addition to working on new music, Lil Baby has also worked on new tunes with Nicki Minaj. Collaborating on her first new batch of music since 2018. He appeared on both “Bussin” and “Do We Have a Problem?” Nicki even said Baby bodied her on the former.
“First of all, I want to just say shout out to Lil Baby,” Nicki also said in an IG Live session. “Y’all know I always keep it real about verses and all of that… Lil Baby, he might have… Ummm… he might have got me.”
