The internet was abuzz with Megan Thee Stallion’s “Plan B” after she previewed the track at Coachella last weekend. Megan shared her inspiration behind the composition.
“‘Plan B’ caught fans’ attention with lyrics like “di*k don’t run me, I run di*k,” “I’m the only reason you got bi**hes,” and “you’s a bi**h,” as well as a classic sample from Jodeci and Wu-Tang’s “Freak’n You.”
After speculation about who the song could be about, Meg confirmed the track is about “past” relationships and appears not to be about a particular person.
“I was just venting [about] experiences I’ve had in relationships I’ve been in the past,” Meg wrote during an unexpected Twitter question and answer session with fans.

Unfortunately, it wouldn’t be out of the question for Megan Thee Stallion to release a Tory Lanez diss track. Nonetheless, they’ve been going back and forth since she accused him of shooting her in July 2020. Lanez was sent back to jail after a hearing on Apr. 5 for violating his release conditions. As a result, the judge ruled that he violated the court’s order by tweeting about Megan Thee Stallion in February.
Megan Has A Q&A With Fans Regarding Her Single ‘Plan B’
In the Q&A session, Meg also offered more details about the rapid-fire single, which will appear on her forthcoming album. Moreover, she confirmed that the song would have its own music video. Meg also hadn’t anticipated it would receive the kind of attention it has received since its debut at Coachella.

“It’s aggressive it’s nostalgic it’s raw,” Megan wrote when describing the track’s sonics. “I can’t say it’s based in one sound but it’s definitely HARD.”
