The Struggle For Equality: Pat Boy and Discrimination In Mexico

Mexico is a beautiful place to visit, but like every country, its citizens face difficulties daily. A great deal of respect is paid to indigenous practices in museums, whereas they are disrespected in other areas of the country. According to a 2017 government study, almost one-fourth of Indigenous people aged 12 and older have encountered prejudice.

Mexican rapper Jesús Pat Chablé, also known as Pat Boy, has experienced racism like many of Mexico’s 23 million Indigenous people. However, Pat Boy is now using rap to combat prejudice, bring back ancient languages that are slowly disappearing, and inspire a sense of pride among young people in his culture that has existed for centuries.

“Through music, I started researching more about the Maya, and I began to see great things: philosophies, traditions, culture,” Pat Boy said. “I wanted to share that information that I learned to new generations through music.”

The Marvel blockbuster Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has recently brought Pat Boy’s music, along with Indigenous rap in general, to a worldwide audience.

Honeymoon Spokesperson Responds To Recent Discoveries

Commenting on the study, Dan Bagby of Honeymoon Always said:

“We always have a pulse on what destinations are the most popular for honeymoons, but studies like this are always fascinating to see where people are interested in visiting. While a relatively small percentage of people make it to Bali, it’s a popular dream destination where hopes may be tempered once the cost and flight times are understood.

I also love seeing the continued popularity of US destinations since there are so many fantastic honeymoon options close to home. We are also reminded of how vital travel advisors and influencers are in sharing other opportunities that do not make a list since these hot spots are not always their best option.”

Congress Admits UFOs Are Not “Man-Made,” Threat Is Increasing

“We all know that UFOs are real. All we need to ask is where do they come from, and what do they want?” ~ Edgar Mitchell.

Navy Pilots have been making remarks about those strange airplanes for years, along with government investigators. Today, thanks to their detailed reports, Congress finally admits that UFOs are not “Man-Made.” Their presence is constantly increasing, causing a real threat as legal officials continue investigating the reasons behind their appearances.

The news came from an addendum report to the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023. Known to be a budget that rules America’s services that are kept away from the public.

The Congress Report on UFO

The fact is that records regarding Unidentified Aerial Phenomena have arisen over the years. The US government has kept track of all data and has proof to support it. The first involves a leaked video released on CNN, which is confirmed to be authentic by the Pentagon. Some of these flying objects are definitely aliens.”

Last year, Marco Rubio, vice chair of the Senate Select Committee, said he wanted to find out about UFO’s existence or frequent appearances. Now, Congress is publicly discussing the matter and trying to determine its origin. Due to their increased sighting frequency, the parliament claimed that:

“cross-domain transmedium threats to the United States national security are expanding exponentially,”

A UFO appeared in leaked footage that Pentagon publicly released last year.

The previous year, the Department of Defense recorded beyond 100 strange sightings. Once Barack Obama confessed on The Late Show with James Corden that people see many weird things in the sky but denied any proof of alien existence.

Rubio also claims a two-party group of congressmen has been propelling the Pentagon to discover the origins of the sightings. Furthermore, the Pentagon disclosed that any unidentified space or trans medium object is for the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) to investigate.

Although they conducted research last year, they couldn’t explain their findings. AARO now receives more time and cash from Congress as requested.

A New Bureau for Investigation

In addition, Congress appealed that they drive all their focus into the concerned matter only, trying to differentiate between those flying objects that are either ‘man-made’ or not. The Pentagon defined it as something that can move from water to air to space that can’t be further explained or understood.

Congress members now refrained from using the word extra-terrestrial and would instead be naming it as Pentagon’s office to consider this new classification. While we have no answer to this yet, Rennenkampff, an official of the Department of Defence, said:

“Make no mistake: one branch of the American government implying that UFOs have non-human origins is an explosive development.”

And so, the mystery remains until the officials decide to uncover more truths about the existence of UFOs. Want more news? Make sure to check FMHipHop Headlines to know more.

Barack Obama’s Response to Supreme Court Ruling One of Discontent

Friday, June 24th, the Supreme Court made a landmark decision overturning an almost half-a-century-old statute Roe vs. Wade. Today former President Barack Obama had some words for the nation.

President Obama A Voice of Many

President Obama has joined many others in expressing his discontent with the decision made by the justices who hold office in the highest court of the land. In a ruling of 5-4, the supreme court reversed the 1973 precedent allowing women the choice of an informed decision on the termination of a pregnancy. After the reversal, the power to decide on abortion rights falls back to the states. As written in the LA Times,

“The court’s conservative majority said the Constitution does not protect the right to abortion instead leaving the decision to state lawmakers.”

Obama Echoes the Discontent

Today many citizens of the United States were enraged, and President Obama was among the number. And he used his social media platform to express his exact sentiments.

His Response

Obama did not mince his words. The former president called the supreme court ruling an assault on freedom. And he boiled down the decision-making to personal ideology shifting the focus from the collective. In his words,

“The Supreme Court not only reversed nearly 50 years of precedent, it relegated the most intensely personal decision someone can make to the whims of politicians and ideologues—attacking the essential freedoms of millions of Americans.

Holding Up a Mirror

Obama’s words were not only a pen of the voiceless, ignored, and invisible. Obama also held up a mirror, forcing readers to reflect on the crux of societal regression.

Progression vs. Regression

Regardless of agreement or disagreement with the ruling, the precedent of such a ruling is undeniable. As it was so aptly penned in the LA times,

“The 5-4 ruling marks the most significant curtailing of an established constitutional right in the court’s history.

And if a society is not going forward, it’s going backward.

One cannot predict the days ahead. However, one thing is sure Americans have an indomitable fighting spirit. So, there is undoubtedly more to come upon the horizon. And FM Hip Hop will stand on the lines and provide ongoing coverage.

Showtime is gearing up to release a new anthology series titled The First Lady. It depicts the lives of three female political figures in US history: Betty Ford, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Michelle Obama. The series is set to air next year, with Michelle Pfieffer starring as Betty. Gillian Anderson is also starring as Eleanor, while Viola Davis stars as Michelle.

According to Entertainment WeeklyThe First Lady will focus on all three first ladies’ personal and political lives, including their experiences before entering the White House.

Exclusive photos from the series include an image of Viola Davis standing next to her on-screen husband, O-T Fagbenle, who depicts Barack Obama. Another one shows Davis hovering over Regina Taylor, who represents Michelle’s mother, Marian Robinson. Lexi Underwood and Saniyya Sidney portray the Obama daughters, Malia and Sasha, respectively.

The images of each first lady with their on-screen families give a sneak peek of what’s to come on The First Lady regarding how they handle the public and also their lives with loved ones.

After doing extensive research, Viola Davis reportedly said to EW that she feels very protective of Michelle’s legacy. “It’s our job as actors not to judge whoever we are portraying, but I ended up thinking she’s just dope,” she says. To prepare for the role, she had a very long talk with Mrs. Obama, read her book Becoming, and also watched her 2020 Netflix documentary. Davis did all of this to perfect her representation of the former first lady on screen.

Also worth mentioning is that Davis is the executive producer for The First Lady. The first series will follow all the leading ladies’ “journeys to Washington through an enlightening intimacy.” Entertainment Weekly reports.

The show will debut in Spring 2022.

Erykah Badu Apologized for Posting from Obama’s Private Birthday Party

Erykah Badu has posted apologies after sharing a video from Obama’s private birthday party

Singer Erykah Badu apologized for breaking the no-recording rule and posting on Instagram during 60th Obama’s private birthday party at Martha’s Vineyard. During the event, Erykah had been posting videos with the former President on the dance floor.

Erykah Badu offered apologies on Twitter: “Mr. And Mrs. Obama Please forgive me 4 being the “terrible guest “at such a sacred event for your family. I was so inconsiderate, Thank you for all your love. What an example of ‘how NOT ‘to be …… erica.” Erykah has also removed the videos from social media. She also said offering an apology is the “right thing” to do.

Backlash on the Right

Right-wing media and talking heads are intensely commenting on the news. Fox News-related New York Post wrote an article. They also presented a whole range of “comments from “outraged” detractors who, under the hashtag #ObamaVariant, bashed the 44th commander-in-chief for hosting the jam-packed jamboree.”

Those “Comments” are mainly located on Twitter, often belong to right-wing affiliates, and usually involve a question of the former President not wearing a mask.

Around a week ago, the announcement of Obama’s birthday party had already caused controversy. Chair of the House Republican Conference Rep., Elise Stefanik, had said, “This is what socialism looks like.”

In Rep. Stefanik’s opinion, “socialism” is “unscientific mask mandates and more lockdowns, while President Obama is hosting over 500 elites at his Martha’s Vineyard mansion.” Rep. Andy Biggs had also offered to “imagine if this party was for Trump.”

Bigg’s tweet responded to the earlier White House’s statement, ensuring that President Obama had taken all the precautions and followed the general safety guidelines. Obama also had to cut guests from 500 to 200 due to the rapid spreading of the Delta Variant.

Former President Barack Obama Reveals Breaking Friend’s Nose After Being Called Racial Slur

By Prince Hakeem

Now we know former President Barack Obama as a dignified individual who, thanks to former First Lady Michelle Obama, chooses to “go high.” However, that always wasn’t the case.

During an episode of a new joint-podcast with rock legend Bruce Springsteen, Obama revealed a moment from his childhood years in Hawaii where he went low and got into a fight. Obama described getting into a fight and breaking a former friend’s nose after calling him a coon.

“Listen, when I was in school, I had a friend. We played basketball together,” Obama said. “And one time, we got in a fight, and he called me a coon. Now, first of all, ain’t no coons in Hawaii, right?”

This story came during a segment in the episode where Obama and Springsteen described their different upbringings and challenging discussions on race in America.

Obama continued, “Yo, it’s one of those things that—where he might not even know what a c**n was what he knew was, ‘I can hurt you by saying this.’ And I remember, I popped him in the face and broke his nose.”

In case you’re wondering how a podcast between a former president and rock icon works, know it’s meant to showcase how two different people from vastly different bonds can find common ground and bond.

President Obama Comments On Rappers Supporting Trump

In anticipation of his new book, The Promised Land, President Barack Obama sat down for a lengthy interview with The Atlantic in which he discussed everything from his years in the White House to the recent presidential election. President Obama seemed to attract some controversy when commenting on the increase in support amongst black men for President Trump

President Obama Comments On Rappers Supporting Trump
Barack Obama’s memoir, ‘The Promised Land’, is now available!

He drew a comparison between the materialistic elements of rap culture with the bourgeois aura surrounding Trump. After rappers like Lil Wayne and 50 Cent expressed support for Trump, President Obama identified some interesting parallels in their appeal.

He stated,

“It’s interesting—people are writing about the fact that Trump increased his support among Black men [in the 2020 presidential election], and the occasional rapper who supported Trump. I have to remind myself that if you listen to rap music, it’s all about the bling, the women, the money. A lot of rap videos are using the same measures of what it means to be successful as Donald Trump is. Everything is gold-plated. That insinuates itself and seeps into the culture.”

Barack Obama’s presidential memoir, entitled The Promised Land, is available now wherever books are sold. Check out his interview with The Atlantic here!

The Obamas Celebrate Their 28th Wedding Anniversary

Barack and Michelle Obama Sharing a Kiss | Kevin Dietsch/CNP via ZUMA Wire

Barack Obama (@barackobama) and Michelle Obama (@michelleobama) celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary this Saturday. The couple have always been head over heels in love and are the epitome of ‘relationship goals’.

Michelle posted her very first eponymous podcast this week with her husband as the first guest speaker. In the podcast, they discuss the beginning of their relationship and their vision for their daughters’ future. The former First Lady talks about how they’ve spent lots of time together during quarantine, and it is because of their time together they’ve been able to talk about their vision of the future. Barack goes on to explain, “When you and I think about what’s the inheritance we’d like to leave Malia and Sasha, more than anything what it would be is that they’re living in a country that respects everybody and looks after everybody. Celebrates and sees everybody. Because we know that if we’re not around, that those girls are in a society like that. They’ll be fine.”

Nobody is perfect, though. On Rachael Ray‘s talk show, Michelle told viewers that her husband is known for getting on her nerves, especially in quarantine. Since Barack was busy writing a book all summer, he didn’t have as much time for her. Besides the point, he still makes an effort to keep sparks flying in the relationship. The other day, he took her on an amazing lunch date on the beach with jazz and wine.

The longtime couple also took their love for one another to social media. They posted photos with captions expressing their appreciation for one another. In Barack’s post, he points out “Every day with @MichelleObama makes me a better husband, a better father, and a better human.” Michelle also had some sappy things to say about Barack.

Additionally, Barack and Michelle decided to use their popularity to encourage everyone to vote in the upcoming election. In her post Michelle says, “And this year, we have a request for you — pick one person in your life who might not vote and make sure they do.” The post got over 3.6 million likes.
