The tumultuous divorce between Kanye West and Kim K is slowly coming to an unceremonious end, but neither celeb is out of the woods just yet.

End of the Road

According to legal documentation from The Blast, Kanye West is getting the final things in order before the divorce. This comes after months of social media jabs and public spats between the two stars.

Kanye has filed a declaration of disclosure, meaning that both ex-spouses have claimed their individual assets and liabilities. Usually, this step comes mere days before a final judgment appears and the divorce is final. This is a relief for Kim. She’s been publicly dating since announcing her split with West, despite his harassment and clear disapproval.

In addition, the disclosure declaration proves Kanye has sent all of his financial info to Kim, and they’ve reached a compromise on splitting assets.

Kanye Persists

While money and property seem to be taken care of, the custody of the four West children hangs in the air. The affairs of Saint, North, Chicago, and Psalm have been one of the former couple’s most significant points of contention since the breakup. If you remember, the pair couldn’t even pull off a birthday party without an Instagram blowout back in January. In an unexpected incident, Ye accused Kim of “kidnapping” his daughter and barring him from her event. 

Months later, the duo came to blows over North’s access to TikTok. The 9-year-old also grew an affinity for gothic makeup and clothing, which her dad intensely disliked. “I am her father, and I know y’all don’t respect fathers and the idea of family [but] I said I’m not allowing my daughter to be used by TikTok, to be used by Disney. I have a say so.” The 41-year-old said in a video posted to Instagram in March.

The latest trouble is the children’s schooling. It’s no secret Kanye has been developing his own “Donda” school, and he’s demanding his own kids attend. While Kim hasn’t spoken out on the matter, it appears Ye is standing firm on his choice. He recently hired famed celebrity divorce lawyer Robert Stephan Cohen, representing Chris Rock and Melinda Gates. With Cohen’s impressive track record, Ye might have a fighting chance.

Still, with Kanye’s unpredictable behavior in recent months, it’s sure to be a brutal custody battle ahead.

Ye, formerly Kanye West, has made yet another big play in his divorce from Kim Kardashian. Ye has now hired Malinda Gates’ lawyer. This power play may render successful as Melinda is the ex-wife of tech pioneer Bill Gates. 

According to TMZ, West has obtained council in New York with Robert Stephan Cohen.

Another One Bites The Dust

In August of 2022, West’s previous lawyer, Samantha Spector, filed a motion in court to step down as his lawyer. Spector cited an “irreconcilable breakdown” of their relationship. Spector is a well-known and respected divorce attorney. 

While we know West’s demands and antics can wear down relationships, the fact that his lawyer made this obscene request may have scared off many others.

Robert Stephan Cohen, a notorious lawyer for dealing with billionaires’ splits, has been added to Ye’s list of attorneys. The New York-based attorney is known for being brutally honest and has adopted references such as “killer,” a “Doberman,” and “your worst nightmare.” 

Business Insider gave intel on some of Cohen’s wealthiest clients, such as Donald Trump’s ex-wives and Uma Thurman.

Kanye, Enough Is Enough

Hiring this new lawyer will make the 6th lawyer handle Ye’s divorce case. Since Kim and Ye’s public announcement to split a year ago, the public has had a front-row seat to the shenanigans this case produced. Both have dated “seriously,” unfortunately opening the door to another pile-on of the issue for the once power couple.

The KKW cosmetics curator wasn’t as vocal as Ye during the divorce. However, she has made it clear that his outbursts and rants on social media played a significant part in wanting to be declared legally single immediately.

Collateral damage

While stormy judgment clouds this case, the West children also catch shrapnel from this nasty split. A once united household is now a zone for bad parenting claims and back and forth between parents. The oldest West child, North, hasn’t displayed much disdain for the divorce. Apparently, Kim and Ye were already living separately before announcing the divorce, a source shared with Hollywood Life.

Standing on his ’til death do us part” vows, Ye maintains that he wants his Queen and his family back. His stance that his kids want their parents together may be a heart-tugger, but Kim has yet to budge.

For some, the Kim Kardashian and Ye divorce might’ve been a surprise, but we can exclude Amber Rose from that group. According to the model-turned-rapper, she is not at all surprised their marriage ended on a sour note. In an interview with Raquel Harper, Rose said she never felt any ill will toward the couple. In fact, she says she focused on her happy marriage at the time to rapper Wiz Khalifa. Even after it ended, Ye’s ex said she harbored no bitterness toward Kim-Ye’s union.

“I have my own—I don’t want to say ‘feelings’ for him because that sounds like it’s a positive thing for Kanye — I have my own issues and feelings, how I feel about how our relationship was.”

This is a change of pace since Amber Rose and Ye’s last public feud In 2015-16. after the model criticized Tyga for dating 17-year-old Kylie Jenner, Kylie’s big sis, Khloé, stepped in. Then Ye added fuel when he insulted Amber in an interview. At the time, Amber shot back, claiming she wouldn’t air her ex’s business, then referring to Kim’s family as the “Kartrashians.” She has since expressed regret for the insult delivered via Twitter.

With Or Without Ye

Following the highly public split, Ye dated several people, including “Uncut Gems” actress and walking meme Julia Fox and model Irina Shayk. However, neither of these relationships lasted. Following the one-sided public beef between himself and various former friends, Ye appears to still be in love with Kim.

Kim Kardashian is doing just fine on the opposite end of the split. Now the socialite is dating comedian Pete Davidson, who also has a rather exciting dating life. Amber Rose has also seen her own success without the Chicago rapper. Regardless of Ye’s feelings for his ex, Amber Rose and Kim Kardashian both agree on something. Kim seems happy with Pete.

The relationship between Outkast member Big Boi and his estranged wife, Sherlita Patton, has ended.

TMZ obtained court documents that indicate the Outkast’s Big Boi and the real estate entrepreneur’s divorce was finalized after 20 years of marriage.

A final divorce order came last month after Outkast filed for divorce in April. As stated in his filing, Big Boi asserted that the pair was separated and had begun living separately. There was no hope of reconciliation between them. Keeping things peaceful and avoiding mudslinging helped them reach a speedy settlement.

Bamboo and Jordan are the names of their two children. In another relationship, Boi has a child named Cross. Furthermore, they are both grandparents. The couple’s son Bamboo welcomed a son named Antwan Younes Patton III (Big Boi’s real name is Antwan Patton) in 2021. His children have always made a significant impression on him as an artist.

“I can tell you this when we did ‘Bombs Over Baghdad,’ my little boy went crazy and started breakdancing. I called [Andre 3000] and said, ‘Boy, we got to put this out. This is the one.’ And it was.” Big Boi said.

Sherlita and Outkast Member Filed for Divorce for the First Time?

It may appear that the couple is going through a divorce for the first time. However, this is not the first time the couple has filed for divorce. Sherlita attempted to terminate their marriage in 2013, but the couple reconciled. However, they chose to proceed with the divorce this time.

Big Boi and Sherlita concluded a private postnuptial agreement to divide their assets and debts three years later.

The parties have agreed not to disclose their respective financial information and to reach an agreement that will resolve all outstanding debts. Furthermore, both parties agreed to refrain from threatening each other during the divorce proceedings. The threats include “injury, maltreating, molesting, harassing, harming, or abusing.” Patton and Big Boi have not addressed their divorce publicly.

In Ye and The Game’s latest music video, Ye kidnaps and buries a claymation version of Pete Davidson. However, Davidson is not worried and even finds it humourous.

Kanye West is having a hard time letting go of Kim Kardashian. In his latest music video, “Eazy,” he kidnapped and buried Pete Davidson alive. He has been getting close to Kardashian. Ye also plants rose seeds on the head and harvests them, implying that he is taking them to his ex-wife. It ends with a slide show saying that everyone lived happily ever after, except Skete. Skete is Ye’s nickname for Davidson. “You know who” us Ye’s another go-to for Davidson. 

According to Entertainment Tonight, Davidson is not feeling threatened at all. Instead, he is taking this whole ordeal with a grain of salt. He is, in fact, “using this to grow in more ways. “Including for himself and his relationship with Kim,” according to ET’s source. “He is turning all of the negativity into a positive thing.” 

“Pete is so understanding and has made an extreme effort to put any of his emotions aside and just be a support system for Kim during this difficult time and transition. Pete has grown so much as an adult, man, public figure, and partner through this process,” ET’s source also says. “Even though he has unexpectedly been thrown in the middle of things, including Kanye’s rants.”

Ironically, all of Ye’s spite is only helping the relationship grow even more deeply connected than ever.

Kim Kardashian is finally single, single. A judge has granted Kim K’s request to be legally single.

Kim Kardashian filed to be single back in December of 2021. This request came ten months after she filed for divorce and after Kim attended a performance by Ye. On stage, Kanye pleaded for Kim to come back to him while performing. Kim attended the Larry Hoover benefit to show support with two of her children and family members.

What Does This Mean?

Kim Kardashian is now able to separate her material status from the divorce proceeding that is currently in motion. Therefore, she is now considered a single woman and is no longer willing to get back with Kanye. Kim also decided to revert to her maiden name, removing West as her last name. This ruling doesn’t alter the fact that she and Ye must still settle the debate on child custody and assets.

Kim Kardashian Living Single

Kim is now single in the eyes of the court but she has been living the single life for some time. Kimberly has been dating Pete Davidson for months and they seem happy together. For many, this came as a surprise. The two seemed like an impossible pair but they look happy whenever seen together. Pete is a young comedian known for his dark humor and as a cast on Saturday Night Live. Ironically, they shared a kiss during an SNL skit. Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson were seen out in public together long after the episode aired.

The Future For Kim Kardashian and Kanye West

Hopes that Kim and Kanye will get back together are at an all-time low. Stranger things have happened between Hollywood couples but this seems like a reach. Kanye West seems to be the strongest believer that the relationship will be mended, even though he also is living and legally single. The interaction won’t end even when the divorce becomes finalized because kids are involved. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West must co-parent while being separated. Eyes will continue to be on the two as the days go by.

Ye Tries To Restrict Kim From Using Social Media As Evidence In Divorce

TMZ reports an update on the long-lasting divorce saga between Ye and Kim Kardashian. It just took another turn. The artist is now asking the court to not let Kim Kardashian use Ye’s social media posts as evidence.

“Kim claims she read something online allegedly by Kanye and characterizes the posts in her declaration as misinformation,” Ye’s lawyer explained. “Kim needed to offer the social media posts into evidence, and show that the posts were…by Kanye.”

Moreover, the couple’s prenup agreement might also be invalid. Thanks to California laws, all the post-2001 prenups are now going through the automatic process. There needs to be a trial or an agreement from both parties. Ye’s party disagrees, so the trial hearing is the most likely outcome of this situation. This, of course, will also make the divorce process last longer.

Possibly to secure his position, Ye also posted on Instagram later. “My account is not hacked. I will be at Sunday Service at noon and will be taking North and Saint to the Superbowl…,” Ye capped.

Kim Wants A Divorce From Ye Now

The recent TODAY article revealed a 155-page legal report with Kim Kardashian’s statements regarding her ongoing divorce.

“I very much desire to be divorced. I have asked Kanye to keep our divorce private, but he has not done so,” Kardashian stated. “Kanye has been putting a lot of misinformation regarding our private family matters and co-parenting on social media, which has created emotional distress.”

Unfortunately, Kim also thinks the only way for the couple to move on is to part ways.

“I believe that the Court terminating our marital status will help Kanye to accept that our marital relationship is over,” Kardashian explained. “To move forward on a better path,”  

She also thinks the divorce “will assist us in peacefully co-parenting our children.”

Kim Kardashian Wants To Be Declared Single Immediately!

For those who thought that the great love between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West would be back to life again- well, let me disappoint us.

Yes, I include myself too. I really thought they were going to get back together ‘eventually’. Unfortunately, if you are fan of this couple, all indications are this love-story will have a not-so-happy ending. 

Everything points out that Kim Kardashian is not so happy about the delay that her divorce with Ye is taking. She already wishes she divorced.

According to an article by TODAY, who obtained a 155-page file, it includes many statements. Kardashian reveals how these facts, plus her soon-to-be ex-husband’s attitude towards the divorce has been affecting both her and her family.

“I have asked Kanye to keep our divorce private, but he has not done so. Kanye has been putting a lot of misinformation regarding our private family matters and co-parenting on social media.”

While Kardashian has remain her divorce private, Ye, on the contrary, have been very expressive.

Kanye West, on the other hand, has opposed the divorce suits several times since last year.

In November last year, Ye was a guest on Saturday Night Live, where he opened up and admitted he wanted to reconcile with his wife.

“My kids want their parents to stay together. I want us to be together” Ye said.

Although this interview was three months ago, the controversies between this couple are still ongoing.

North on TikTok against Ye’s will: Kim Kardashian Responds

This recent controversy between the West-Kardashian family is a good example of how publicly their family issues have become.

Earlier this month, Kanye West uploaded a screenshot of his eldest daughter North, 8, using TikTok to his Instagram account. The post is currently deleted.

“SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL ?” the caption read.

Almost immediately, North’s mother shared a response on her Instagram stories. Kardashian confirms she does protect her daughter.

“I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision- because it brings her happiness,” Kardashian noted.

“Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all.” 

We all want their happiness..even if it’s by separate

Reading all the articles out there about their divorce process made realize something important:

A divorce process always difficult for the couple involved, as well as for people close to them such as family and friends. But that process can be even more difficult if both parties do not agree on the same conditions.

Both Kanye and Kim deserve to find a balance between their emotional and romantic independence, while also sharing common children in a healthy way for the sake of them.

We could take this story as a lesson of love- not a romantic love- but self-love. From the bottom of my heart, I hope that both artists find their happiness, even if they have to go take separate ways.

Ye continues to find himself at the forefront of popular news. The Atlanta rapper has taken his divorce with ex-wife Kim Kardashian hard. It seems by the day Ye becomes more and more unhinged, escalating from bad-mouthing Kim to complaining about birthday party arraignments, to buying a house across from her. Earlier this week Kanye made a move that may have caused irreparable damage to his relationship with Kid Cudi. He posted a letter addressed to Cudi cutting him out of his latest album Donda 2.

However, early yesterday Kanye seems to be attempting to backtrack on his perplexing behavior. He has yet to apologize to his long-time friend but seems to be seeking reconciliation.

Another Breakup

The breakup of Kanye West and Kid Cudi may have shocked fans more than his divorce with Kim. Kanye and Cudi have been a team for over a decade. In fact, Cudi has appeared on every single Kanye album since 2008. Evidently, Kanye sought to leverage this relationship for… something? Regardless, it is clear that Cudi gave absolutely no f*cks and called Kanye’s bluff. FMHipHop has already covered this interaction and its immediate fallout extensively.

However just yesterday Kanye had allegedly asked Cudi to take him back. According to Hip Hop DX, Kanye reposted one of Cudi’s posts, offering an “olive branch”, which is an odd image since the entire incident was created by Kanye.

Reportedly Kanye reposted this post with the caption, “I can still feel the love. Love you family.” The reason for repeatedly using “allegedly” and “reportedly” is because, at the time of writing, it appears Kanye’s repost has been taken down, which isn’t the first time something like this has happened. Cudi’s post also seems to be preventing comments, so who knows what happened.

All we know is that this isn’t exactly what we would call an “olive branch.” If it exists, I think it would be more apt to call it an attempt at manipulation. Evidently, Kanye hasn’t even bothered to apologize and instead seems to be trying to guilt Cudi into feeling sorry for him by pretending to have nothing but love for Cudi so obviously the problem must be on his end right? Except you can scroll up on this article and see hard proof of Kanye’s true feelings.

Kanye Lashes Out at Pete Davidson

Kanye has made his feelings towards Pete Davidson, Kim Kardashian’s new boyfriend, clear over and over again. Spoiler: it’s not positive. Earlier today, he send out several posts on Instagram seemingly enraged by Pete Davidson’s latest skits.

Dr. Dre’s Ex-Wife Wins a $100 Million Divorce Settlement

It has been a hard-fought battle, but Dr. Dre is finally divorced. He and his ex-wife have been together since 1996, shortly after his transition from Deathrow Records to founding Aftermath Entertainment. Their union produced their children, Truice and Truly, now adults. Before their marriage, Dre was controversial in the 80s and early 90s, and he frequented the news for his violent rages against his female companions and colleagues. However, throughout the years during their marriage, it seemed as if it was all success and little to no negative news–until 2020 when the two split.

A Tumultuous Process

Nicole Plotzker-Young filed for divorce in June 2020, officially citing irreconcilable differences. Daily Mail referenced court documents filed by Mrs. Young in November 2020, which alleged that Andre ‘Dr. Dre’ Young was abusive and committed “rampant and repeated marital misconduct.” Furthermore, although there was a prenuptial agreement, Mrs. Young claimed that she signed it under duress, and Dre later destroyed the document as a “romantic gesture.” Mr. Young’s representation, Laura Wasser of the King Law Firm, denied these allegations. According to Mrs. Young, Laura Wesser served as the Young family lawyer since the couple was engaged in 1996. Samantha Spector and Lisa Helfend Meyer, Mrs. Young’s attorneys, later requested to remove Wesser from Dr. Dre’s legal team because of the conflict of interest.

In January 2021, Dr. Dre suffered a brain aneurysm and was hospitalized. Things worsened for him when criminals burglarized his home during his hospital stay.  And shortly after his release, a judge ordered him to pay 2 million dollars a month in temporary spousal support.

In October 2021, he received additional divorce papers at his grandmother’s funeral. Later that month, a judge declared that Dr. Dre and Mrs. Young were legally single, although the divorce was not final.

Dre’s Final Divorce Order

In the final order, Dr. Dre retained stock investments, proceeds from his Beats by Dre enterprise, rights to his music, real estate property, and six vehicles. Mrs. Young received four cars, clothing, jewelry, other accessories, and a settlement of 100.2 million dollars. Dr. Dre will split the large sum into two 50 million dollar payments, the first taking place this month and another next year, which will negate any continuation of spousal support or compensation for legal fees. The final proceedings ended their 25-year relationship on December 28th.
