Charlamagne The God Believes Yung Miami’s “Caresha Please” Shouldn’t Have Earned Best Hip-Hop Platform, Calls The Win “Bulls**t”

Yung Miami teamed up with her boo Diddy, embarking on a new chapter together in the industry. The City Girl hosts her very own podcast on Revolt TV, Caresha Please which Puff executively produced himself. The Miami native usually receives positive feedback on each of her episodes. However, many fans were shocked to see she claimed the Best Hip-Hop Platform BET Hip-Hop Award.

Charlamagne Tha God disagrees with the votes!

On Wednesday, October 6th, the Breakfast Club host shared his thoughts with Revolt chairman Diddy during his appearance on the morning show. He said, “I love Caresha, but it tied with Drink Champs. Diddy you know that’s some bullshit,” Diddy clapped back, calling Caresha Please the “best podcast of the year!” Charlamagne continued asking the “Gotta Move On” artist if he paid for the show to win, which Diddy immediately shut down.

Yung Miami’s award got fans questioning the votes!

Being that the Act Up rapper only produced five episodes thus far, viewers are curious as to how Caresha Please could beat other podcasts like Million Dollars Worth of Game and Drink Champs. One user @yummycheesekake tweeted, “Ain’t no real way Caresha please won podcast of the ”year” over drink champs & million dollarz worth of game…. It’s a good podcast but of the “year” ….naaaaaaaaah …. Diddy still robbing niggas I see.” Another user @2burgos said, “Caresha Please should’ve NEVER Won over Drink Champs or Million Dollars Worth of Game. Caresha Please shouldn’t have even been Eligible to win until next year. Diddy forsure paid for that. That’s why all these Award Ceremonies are BS!”

Yung Miami fires Back!

As Twitter rants about who should have really won the BET Award for Best Hip Hop Platform, Yung Miami didn’t hesitate to respond to all the backlash. She say’s, “Not y’all mad #Careshaplease won an award? Awwww :’(.” As many of the comments were more on the negative side, one fan @Khadijah9310 wrote, “Lol let’s celebrate with a new episode!”

Cam’ron Speaks On Jay-Z And His History In Rap

Cam’ron appeared on the popular podcast Million Dollaz Worth Of Game and spoke on Jay-Z and his history in rap. The video dropped last Sunday, Aug 21, 2022, on Youtube, Spotify, and other platforms where you can listen to podcasts.

While also talking about his latest business ventures, Cam speaks about many things within the hour and forty-minute interview. Topics ranged from when Cam and Jay-Z ended their beef to why Cam’ron scrapped a verse from Jay-Z and remarkable Ma$e stories

A standout subject within the podcast is the topic of Jay-Z, or Hov, as Cam’ron refers to him, comes up. The beef between the two rappers and how they eventually squashed it. In a distant reality, Jay-Z appeared on Cam’ron’s classic song “Oh Boy.” Unfortunately, that did not happen in our time, but Cam revealed that Hov did spit a verse for one of his biggest songs.

Cam’ron & Jay-Z

Cam’ron stated, ” So Hov did a remix for “Oh Boy,” and I erased it.” Looking back on the situation, he clearly wishes he would have just vaulted the verse even if he never planned on ever using it. His reason for deleting the verse was very simple: “He erased my verse. I did a song for Peedi Crakk, and he erased my verse and threw it out, so I was like I’ma erase his verse.” Pettiness is to blame, and because of it, the world will never get to hear the lost verse from Jay-Z. However, Cam would take full responsibility “we ain’t gone find it nowhere,” adding, “I’m a very, very petty man.”

Another topic that comes up repeatedly is Cam’ron’s history in the rap game. Just hearing his stories can give you the impression that he’s been around the block. Many people who don’t know Cam’ron may not realize he has been in the game for over two decades. He has worked with giants in rap history like Biggie, is an actor, and even worked in movies. Ma$e Calls Himself “Diddy 2.0”

Ma$e grabbed the public attention recently following Fivio Foreign, who signed a $5000 contract deal with the rapper. Fivio Foreign aka Maxie Lee Ryles III, announced the news last week during his time on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game Podcast.

On-going Feud Between Diddy & Ma$e

Former Bad Boy rapper, Ma$e seems to be in the limelight for these past weeks.

Mase’ New Single ‘ORACLE 2: Standing On Bodies’

On the 30th of July 2022, Gillie Da kid and Wallo267 were recording an Instagram video along with Ma$e. Wallo looked at the camera and said: “$5000, man. $5000” while Ma$e who was drinking from his bottle of water thereafter end up saying: “Diddy 2.0.” He acts flippant as usual when it concerns his grudge against the Founder of Bad Boy Record, Combs. It’s no new news that Diddy and Ma$e have been in an on-off feud for a long time now. The ongoing fight between the two rappers started over publishing; getting involved in shady business practices. Add up to Ma$e humiliating the 52-year-old rapper in his single entitled “The Oracle 2: The Liberation Of Mason Betha”. Basically, Ma$e didn’t appreciate the fact that Diddy never paid him and gave him the respect he rightfully deserved. It’s obvious Ma$e cannot stop landing on the topic in all his interviews.

The Deal between the 2 rappers

After Fivio said he received only $5000 in advance during his interview with Million Dollaz Worth of Game Podcast, Ma$e decided to go down and shed light on the matter. Foreign was apparently pressurized by his friend to sign the deal.
“The n-gga that brought me to him, he was like, ‘Yo, man. Just sign that shit. You bugging,’” Fivio remember. “I’m like, ‘Yeah, read it.’ He’s like, ‘Alright, just sign it. It’s good,’ so I just signed it. The advance was $5,000.”
Moreover, he accused Ma$e of trying to fool him concerning the revenue distribution but the latter couldn’t care less since he now got some cash in his pocket. Ma$e made it crystal clear that he handed Fivio $750,000 in sum. He added:
“At one time, I gave him $5,000, but I gave him $750,000,” “Because I set him up to do a deal to where I can control the deal, make the deal what it should be because I knew if he had the leverage, he would go in there and sell both of us out.”
Furthermore, the Florida-born rapper blamed Fivio for being reckless. Mase claimed that he deposited $50,000 for Fivio’s career before he even signed the deal with Columbia Record.

Uncertainty is a stressful thing. When there’s confusion, that’s where chaos is created. Well, for now, it seems like we will to tune in the podcast in the coming weeks to know more.

Drake Is The Milestone

Drake and where he is in his career has become the milestone that new rappers want to pass. Becoming larger than the Canadian native is a badge of honor. Lil Durk wasn’t being disrespectful when he answered the question, but to his crew and him, he is bigger than Drake.

Big Sean And Hit Boy Talk Hardships Working With Ye

Big Sean and Hit-Boy discussed the difficult side of working with Kanye west were in a recent interview with Million Dollaz Worth Of Game.

The interview was released on November 14, although Big Sean confirmed the interview was recorded a month ago via Twitter. He made the clarification to avoid leading fans to think the comments were in response to Ye’s recent viral Drink Champs interview.

A post shared by Elliott Wilson (@elliottwilson)

In the interview, they talk about Ye’s perfectionism and how difficult it is to work alongside. Sean said he does not even celebrate featuring on a song with West until it is officially out. He has revealed that he was taken out of a Kanye song before, without even a phone call. There even has been times where a track just never dropped. Kanye’s hit “Clique” was an example Sean gave of cutting people off tracks. “With ‘Clique,’ I did that verse on the fly so there’s like eight other verses on there. After him and Hov met up, they cut everybody but they was like, ‘Leave Sean on there, he went too crazy with the hook.'”

“Kanye can be very hard to work it,” Big Sean admitted while Hit-Boy chimed in, “I thought you was gonna say that first.” “Kanye will have you re-do a verse 10 times and not use them,” Sean continued before Hit-Boy added, “[Kanye will have you] redo some drums 10 times.”

Snoop Dogg Makes Bold Claim Regarding Death Row Records

On a recent episode of Million Dollaz Worth of Game, Snoop Dogg made a bold claim regarding Death Row Records. According to the Dogg Father, Death Row Records would prosper in his hands.

In the words of Snoop,

“I should be running that sh*t!”

Snoop Dogg’s stake in Death Row

Snoop Dog’s roots with Death Row Records Runs Deep.

Under the helm of Dr. Dre and Suge Knight, Death Row Records began making power moves in hip-hop in the early 90s. The company is known for putting gangsta rap on the map. According to deathrowofficial.com, Dre’s Chronic was paramount to putting Death Row on the charts. Dre, along with Snoop, was the indomitable pair instrumental in the success of The Chronic.

Highs & Lows

The Chronic was not the only release to propel the company to the forefront. It was also Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle that solidified the company’s reputation.

But Snoop’s relationship with Death Row wasn’t always smooth sailing. In 1998, Snoop went public with his decision to leave the company he helped build. According to a 1998 article on mtvnews.com, Snoop Dog said,

“They don’t know how to run business. That’s why their business is gone. And I’m no longer a part of them.”

And that was only part of the reason that the Lion of Hip Hop left Death Row to join No Limit Records.

Snoop’s Proclamation

Now the Dogg wants to take ownership of what he believes he has rights to. And with all the bravado and chill that only he can come with proclaimed that under his charge, he could have flipped the company’s trajectory.

And given his overall success in whatever he touches, there is no sign that he wouldn’t be successful at the helm. Because in his own words,

“I manifest, I was told that I was a manifester,”

To find out what else has been going on in the life of Snoop Dogg check out FM Hip Hop’s retrospective articles.

In a Podcast with 21 Savage, Gillie Da Kid Comments on Wack 100 Calling 6ix9ine a ‘Civilian’

The inaugural episode of DJ Akademiks’ Off the Record podcast kicks off with an argumentative conversation between 6ix9ne and Wack 100. During their discussion hosted by DJ Akademiks, Wack 100 had called 6ix9ine a ‘civilian.’

The most recent episode of Million Dollaz Worth of Game features 21 Savage. 21 Savage was a part of the Clubhouse shooting match with both 6ix9ine and Wack 100. Gillie Da Kid is there in the podcast, too, disagreeing and responding to Wack 100. He thinks that “‘civilians’ don’t pay thousands of dollars to shoot someone” or “run around and tell they operate out here in them streets to suck they d***.”

Gillie Da Kid also commented on the recent conflict between 6ix9ine and Lil Durk: “Civilians do not tell…, ‘F*** you, your brother got killed, b****, why you ain’t, did nothin’,” he said. “They just killed another one of your motherf****** homies. When you gon ride.’ Civilians don’t act like that.”

Back to when Lil Durk’s brother OTF DTHANG was killed, 6ix9ine went on Twitter to criticize Durk.

“@lildurk tell the truth about yo Gang man they really dyin,” he wrote alongside several laughing emojis at the time. “@lildurk stop the senseless violence.”

He also left a sarcastic “RIP” under The Shade Room post about DThang’s death.

6ix9ine’s Plea Deal

Back in 2018, 6ix9ine was arrested on federal criminal charges. The rapper was facing a life sentence since he “participated in the operation and management of” the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

Facing a life sentence, 6ix9ine then agreed to cooperate with authorities and provide information on his ex-colleagues from Treyway. 6ix9ine also refused to join the witness protection program. Instead, he got 24/7 bodyguards.

6ix9ine also drastically cut his sentence. It went from forty-seven years in prison minimum to only two years, mostly at home. 6ix9ine might have even snitched on 21 Savage.

Once out, the rapper got back to his career and didn’t seem to worry about the consequences.
