Brooklyn Pastor Lamor M. Whitehead Has Been Accused Of Stealing $90,000 From One Of His Church Members

The saying “What’s in the dark will come to light” resonates with the situation the elegant Brooklyn pastor is currently facing. It emphasizes the importance of exposing what’s in the dark. Even a pastor who may seem incapable of sinning due to their position in the church has sins to confess.

Bishop M. Whitehead, who leads the Leaders of Tomorrow International Churches, was robbed with his wife of $1 million in jewelry during his live-streamed sermon on Sunday. On top of that, some new information has just come out of the woodwork!

A member of Whitehead’s church, 56-year-old Pauline Anderson, alleges that Whitehead stole $90,000 from her retirement funds. In September of last year, she filed a complaint with the New York Supreme Court in Kings County.

Pastor Allegedly Persuaded Victim To Invest In One Of His Businesses

According to the New York Post, in November 2020, Lamor was alleged to have convinced Anderson to invest nearly all her life savings in one of his companies, according to a lawsuit filed in Brooklyn Supreme Court. Despite her bad credit history, he assured her that he would be able to assist her in buying a home. Evidently, Pauline believed that she could trust Lamor completely. No one will trust someone with their money or assets if they are not confident that they are trustworthy.

Anderson’s lawsuit alleges that rather than helping her find a home, the Rolls-Royce driving clergyman uses the funds as part of a down payment on a contract to buy a $4.4 million house for him in Saddle River, New Jersey.

Whenever the fashionista appears in the public eye, he flaunts his sparkling chains, dazzling outfits, and motorcade of luxury vehicles. Critics believe that his material possessions are one of the reasons why the robbers targeted him. In some cases, jealous individuals attempt to sabotage a person’s life if that person seems to lead a high-profile existence.

The Alleged Scamming Process

Furthermore, you may be wondering how Pauline met Lamor. Whitehead was introduced to Pauline by her son Rasheed Anderson in April 2020. Rasheed arranged for his mother to speak with Lamor through a prayer call. In response to Pauline’s desire to purchase a home, a second phone conversation occurred between Pauline and Lamor in July.

As per the lawsuit, Whitehead helped Pauline navigate the process of purchasing a home by walking her through each step of the way. During a three-way telephone call later that month, the Brooklyn pastor sought to obtain Anderson’s life savings from a financial institution.

The clergyman introduced Pauline to two mortgage lenders unwilling to lend to her due to her deteriorating credit record. He recommended that she invest $90,000 into his own company. Why? Because he said, he would use it to buy her a home. In addition, he promised to repair any damage it might have and fully refund her change if there was any. Because of that oral agreement, Anderson provided the preacher with cash in November 2020 without requesting a receipt or confirmation.

Pauline Anderson Is Suing The Brooklyn Pastor

Whenever a person engages in a business that is likely to sabotage one’s life if one is not careful, getting as much documentation as possible is crucial in case one is screwed over and ultimately loses everything. Choosing wisely is very important when you live in a world where people are willing to commit fraudulent acts.

Later, Lamor told Anderson he was not responsible for repaying her since he had invested the funds in his company. While the case is still pending, Pauline Anderson seeks $1 million in compensation for her losses due to Whitehead’s illegal activities.

Eminem Admits In ‘The King And I’ Single That He Has Stolen Music From Black Culture

Arguably Hip Hop’s most successful white MC, Eminem, is consistently accused of stealing from Black culture. One of the reasons he is so successful may be due to this. “The King and I” is Slim Shady’s new collaboration with Cee-Lo Green, released on Thursday (June 16). The song comes from the upcoming Baz Luhrmann movie Elvis. Furthermore, in the third verse, Shady speaks over a sample of Elvis Presley’s 1957 classic, “Jailhouse Rock,” to illustrate his bold admission.

“I stole black music, yeah true,” he raps. “Perhaps used it (For what?) as a tool to combat school/Kids came back on some bathroom sh*t”.

Moreover, Eminem regularly admits that he is a “guest” of Hip Hop culture. Also, in an interview with KXNG Crooked in February 2020, he was asked how he felt about his position in the rap industry.

“I never said I wasn’t a guest,” he replied. ‘I’m absolutely a guest. I never said I was king of anything, right? I had a song called ‘Kings Never Die’ …  that was the concept of the song. I can’t say I’m the king of Hip Hop, so I threw Run-DMC in there, Jam Master Jay.”

‘The King and I’ Rapper Isn’t The Only Artist Who Stole From Black Music

There is no doubt that Elvis Presley has left behind a challenging and problematic legacy. There have been long-held accusations that the King of Rock and Roll was a racist. Also, it is alleged that he stole from black musicians. Apparently, Elvis Presley once said, “The only thing a Black woman can do for me is buy my records and shine my shoes.” Therefore, this is merely a rumor.

Unfortunately, Elvis is not a favorite among other artists. For example, Chuck D from Public Enemy famously rapped on the 1988 single “Fight The Power” from the album It Takes A Nation Of Millions … To Hold Us Back.

“Elvis was a hero to most/But he never meant sh*t to me you see/Straight up racist that sucker was/Simple and plain,” to which Flavor Flav added, “Muthaf*ck him and John Wayne.”

Rapper Copywrite Accuses WWE Superstar John Cena Of Stealing His Lyrics For His Own Music And Performances

The High Exhaulted II album by Copywrite features a new diss track against John Cena.

The veteran underground rapper accuses him of stealing his lyrics for his music and WWE performances. The third track on the album is titled “Spoiler Alert / Have U Cena?”

John Cena Is A Fan Of Copywrite

Previously, Cena stated that he is a fan of Copywrite. Cena performed a heel rapper gimmick in the early days of his career. In May 2005, he released his “You Can’t See Me” debut album with his cousin Tha Trademarc.

Furthermore, John originally played the Dr. of Thuganomics from 2002 to 2005 before adopting his current persona. Also, he brought back this gimmick for a promo segment on Raw before his WrestleMania match against The Rock. As well as in 2019 for his in-ring segment with Elias at WrestleMania 35.

On his latest album, The High Exhaulted II, Columbus rapper Copywrite shares news of a bizarre encounter with WWE wrestler John Cena.

Additionally, on track 3, titled “Spoiler Alert / Have U Cena?”, Copy reveals the theft of his lyrics for Cena’s music and WWE performances in a series of lyrics.

Plagiarism

Copy discovered that Cena plagiarized his lyrics for his WWE act on YouTube.

“I got the news from a fan out the blue, at first I think was the truth/ til he sent the YouTube link as the proof/ now I’m tryna think what to do,” he said.

Moreover, Cena’s embarrassment stems from the fact that it became evident to the veteran rapper that his lyrics were manipulated without his consent, as Copy raps “bit it, it was so apparent.”

Exposing Cena

Using sharply crafted, vicious bars in the second half of the song, he comes at Cena with even greater intensity following a beat change. Lines like “lies, what your rap career is based on” and “right now, John loves to play emcee” expose Cena’s biting heavily. It also shows that he has used plenty of lifted lyrics in crafting his rap act for WWE.

“Spoiler Alert / Have U Cena?” is a powerful diss track that rips into Cena from every angle. Most importantly, biting lyrics and styles are a grave offense in hip-hop history. However, in terms of stealing without regret, John Cena appears to have committed these sins. “Spoiler Alert / Have U Cena?” delivers big surprises on every level. Cena comes into the spotlight as Copy evaluates the situation and throws lyrical darts at him.
