YK Osiris Thanks Fans, Gets Support From Big Sean

YK Osiris worried fans when he went live on Instagram October 16, and expressed diappointment in the way his career is going. He explained he was experiencing suicidal thoughts. Friends and fans reached out to support him. In a video, the smiling rapper assured everyone he was doing better. He said he might not have many friends in the industry, but knowing that people out there still love him, really helps. “Check on your people. Check on your moms, sisters. I don’t care if you mad…people need love, man.

On a list of Osiris’ supporters, is Big Sean. He reached out to the rapper after YK posted his update. Big Sean being  an advocate for mental health makes sense given his own struggle. While making the album Detroit 2,  he opened up about his own journey. Under Osiris’ post the rapper left some advice in the comments.

When you your own source of happiness n love then any love you get is just extra on top (which is beautiful) and any love you dont get, you’re still you and un affected, or at least not as affected by conditional circumstances or how others feel about you. Just leaving that here for others as well. Glad you feeling better though bro. God got you.

Is This Symptom Of A Bigger Mental Health Crisis?

People often attribute depression to a chemical imbalance or personal circumstance, but the social reasons matter as much. Race plays a part when it comes to how Black people, and in this carse Black men, navigate this world.

According to the National Allaince on Mental Illness, “Black adults in the U.S. are more likely than white adults to report persistent symptoms of emotional distress, such as sadness and feeling like everything is an effort.” And given that a common theme in a many hip-hop track revolves around hardships related to poverty and public scrutiny. While YK Osiris may not have the same plight as the average person, the level of hoplessness and isolation is the same, famous or not.

Rappers Shine A Light On A Difficult Topic

When Megan Thee Stallion put out her single “Anxiety,” that was enough for a lot of young black people to feel seen. Of course she took it a step further by starting a website “Bad Bitches Have Bad Days Too.” However, Meg is not the only person in hip-hop advocating for mental health care. From Jay-Z to Mary J, all have songs that touch on depression, grief, and substance abuse.

YK Osiris isn’t the only rapper to go through this, and he won’t be the last considering the demands of the modern music world. However, by being vulnerable with fans, he has kept the door open for the conversation on mental health to continue.

YK Osiris Reveals Suicidal Thoughts On Instagram Live After Fallout With Drake And Lil Baby

Sunday, October 16th, YK Osiris took to his Instagram Live to share the emotional downfall he’s been experiencing. The artist also revealed that he is no longer friends with Drake and Lil Baby. He even admitted he is feeling suicidal at this moment in time.

“You can’t use Drake with me, you can’t use Lil Baby, ’cause they don’t fuck with me no more… So please don’t use that. You haven’t seen me around Drake in a minute or Lil Baby. Long time. So let’s get that out the door. Please don’t use that no more.”

YK Osiris concerns fans with suicidal thoughts.

The “Worth It” artist says that he wants to die and kill himself. “I wanna just leave this Earth. But something telling me… I don’t know.” He added that he believes people view him as a clown, stating, “I can’t even see my f*cking kids…. I’m a talented person. But that doesn’t matter because I don’t drop my music, I don’t do sh!t. I haven’t even performed in f*cking two years, n*gga!”

YK continued to ask fans how they would feel if he killed himself right now. He stated if he were to commit suicide people would say “good, he don’t have to pay no more debts no more.” He say’s, “I don’t have to pay Drake anymore… I don’t have to pay Lil Baby no more, they gonna say that bullshit, they gonna say the dumbest shit ever!”

YK Osiris just wants to be happy.

Osiris took a moment of his live to give away $500 each to some kids on the corner and another $500 to a woman as well, asking for prayers in return. He then continued his live to say, “I just want to be happy. That’s all I wanna do is be happy.” The star explains that his baby mother always told him, “Osiris, nobody f*ck with you, stop doing music, bruh. Your sh!t wack.” The singer usually never believes anything the child of his mother says, but now he say’s he does.

YK Osiris Offers To Cover Funeral Expenses For Teen Killed After Falling From A Ride At An Amusement Park

YK Osiris wants to help the family of 14-year-old Tyre Sampson, who died from an amusement park ride last week.

YK Osiris Reaches Out To Instagram Followers

After slipping out of his harness on the Orlando FreeFall ride, Tyre fell to his death at ICON Park. To connect with Sampson’s family, the ‘Worth It’ rapper wrote to his almost 3 million Instagram followers on (Mar 26).

“If anybody knows his family, tell them to DM me because I want to pay for his funeral cost,” YK wrote on his Instagram Story and a blog post.

Moreover, the death of Sampson made headlines across the country. On Mar 24, the honor student and high school football player went to ICON Park in Orlando for spring break with his team. Sampson and his friends rode the FreeFall ride, which ascended 400 feet before launching 75 mph. A video that has become viral shows Sampson flying off of the ride during its descent. He’s also shown hitting the ground in front of stunned people.

Tyre’s Death Raises Some Questions

“He was panicking when he was going up,” Tyre’s father, Yarnell Sampson, told Fox35 Orlando. “When the ride took off, that’s when he was feeling uncomfortable. He was like, ‘What’s going on?’ That’s when he started freaking out, and he was explaining to his friend next to him, ‘I don’t know man. If I don’t make it down, please tell my Mom and Daddy I love them.’ For him to say something like that, he must have felt something.”

Furthermore, Yarnell says his son couldn’t get on other rides due to his size (6’5″, 340 pounds).

“This one particular ride said, ‘We can take you, come on! Get on!’” Yarnell told the news outlet. “No one else allowed him to get on the ride, so I’m wondering what happened between now and then that made them say, ‘Come on, get this ride!'”

According to reports, the Sampson family hired attorneys to investigate his death. This story is heartbreaking! Our thoughts are with Tyre’s family at this trying time as we send them our sincere prayers.

YK Osiris Robbed By Car Thieves During The Holiday Weekend

YK Osiris was robbed of $5,000 worth of clothes by car thieves. He has had a pretty bad Christmas this year.

Last night (December 26), Osiris documented the aftermath of the crime via his Instagram Stories, posting a video of his black SUV showing several of its windows smashed, as well as a photo of the breached vehicle with the caption, “Damn.”

“Man, these n-ggas want to break in my shit,” Osiris can be heard saying in the clip. “Y’all n-ggas dumb, man. Y’all n-ggas so dumb y’all took like five thousand worth of clothes. Come on, man. Y’all n-ggas playas, baby. We playas. What you breaking into my car for?”

Even though valuable garments were stolen and his car needed repairs, YK Osiris doesn’t seem too bothered by the whole ordeal. In another Instagram Story, he shrugged it off, writing, “I’m not even mad but damn lol. ‘MERRY CHRISTMAS BIG BRO.’”

Osiris has had pretty bad luck over this holiday season. Last week, he lost a $325,000 earring. He offered a $60,000 reward for its recovery.

“I really lost one of my earrings I’m sick,” Osiris wrote in a series of Instagram Stories. “Please if anybody find my other earring can you return them please. I’m never getting another pair again I can’t believe this shit.”

On top of all of this, Osiris is also drowning in debt. He has $5,000 debt for Lil Baby, $1,200 to Boosie Badazz, and a massive $60,000 to Drake. Osiris was able to clean the debt with Drake. When he went to Drake’s Toronto mansion, he was able to sing his 2019 hit, “Worth It”, to pay off the debt.

Well, those who pointed out Osiris’s “poor” investment are having a good laugh now. He shared the unfortunate information via his Instagram live.

While he holds out hope his jewelry will make it back to his ear, fans are all about the jokes. With his notable hefty reward, you can’t deny the math isn’t matching.

2021 has brought questions to how much money YK has. Osiris had to defend his custom-made Gucci outfit against trolls in January. 21 Savage, Lil Yachty, and Meek Mill accused Osiris of buying fake Gucci on social media. Turned out, it was all jokes and love in the community.

YK Osiris Posts Dark Messages on Instagram Following Money Drama

YK Osiris has been in the media for some hilarity lately, including an exchange with Lil Baby at the jewelry store. Baby claimed that Osiris owed him money. The interaction was caught on camera and posted on social media, which set the internet ablaze. After that, Osiris flexed a pair of $325,000 diamond earrings on his Instagram stories. In response, former NFL player Chad Johnson jumped on Twitter to clown him for wasting money. Next thing you know, Claire’s $10 studs are getting free advertising from the interaction.

Despite the comedic relief commentary surrounding YK Osiris’ money may have brought, the  “Worth It” rapper himself doesn’t seem to be laughing.

On Saturday, Osiris posted some very dark messages on his Instagram which, he has since deleted.

“God take me away please, I just want to sleep and don’t wake back up. I know y’all would love that.”

A following slide read:

“Let’s see how everyone got something to laugh at then, it’s all fun and jokes until y’all don’t got nun to joke about no more.”

Twitter Won’t Let Up

Meanwhile, Twitter continues to have a field day with the drama. Multiple outlets have posted screenshots and video clips of Johnson and Osiris’ firing shots at each other. These online battles went on throughout Thanksgiving weekend.

“I got the same earrings for $10 from Claire’s,” Chad Johnson Tweeted, quoting pictures of YK Osiris and his expensive diamond studs.

As a result, Osiris got wind of the tweet and responded on Instagram.”We all grown baby, you don’t nobody how to spend their money. If Ocho Coco wanna go to Claire’s and spend $10 on earrings, man I congratulate you.” he said. “You should do that. That’s your money. But you don’t go in another man’s business and tell another man how to spend their money. Big facts.”

In conclusion, YK Osiris wants everyone to just mind their business and stop pocket watching. Fair enough.

YK Osiris tried to defend himself through both platforms, but the jokes were hitting hard. 21 Savage was the one with the most and even saying Osiris looked like a whole suitcase.

With the jacket, it can be seen that the word Vuitton is embroidered on the front, with the main colors being red, white, and some black.
