Toosii Performs On Good Morning America

On Jun. 19, Hip-Hop artist Toosii appeared on Good Morning America, giving the world a little taste of his talent.

Who Is Toosii?

Toosii is a talented, high-achieving Hip-Hop artist with roots in New York and North Carolina. The young artist was born in New York but spent much of his formative years in North Carolina. But as anyone knows, place and time have no bearing on the reach of one’s talent when it’s expressive as Toosii’s.

One look at his story, and it’s no question where he derives his depth and perspective. Toosii is like a phoenix who rose from the ashes of impoverishment, citing homelessness as an authentic part of his life experience. But hard luck is no barrier to a dream and drive.

A little Of Nature And Nurture

Toosii, like many others in the industry, began developing his craft at a young age. In his teenage years, he was already refining his art and pursuing a career in the field of his passion. In 2019, he got his first big break. But one break is all that is ever needed. Even in 2019, it was apparent that he was ready for the world, and the world was obviously prepared for him. No one stops a train in motion. His project, released in 2020, confirmed his caliber of talent.

According to National Today, “”Poetic Pain” ranked 17 on the Billboard 200 list. And “Love Cycle” got so famous it gained recognition as a U.S. Gold record by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Now it’s 2023, and he’s still doing his thing.

Toosii On Good Morning America

Juneteenth, Jun. 19th, Toosii gave a moment to share with GMA viewers. As a measure of promotion, the artist bought a sampling of his flavor, a little sugar, and a pinch of spice to the world’s stage. But mostly, it was a melodic, rhythmic offering.

Cutting to the bare bones, Toosii offered a teaser of what fans could expect in his upcoming North American tour. And it was, as he so smoothly termed before his performance, something for those who like authentic music.

The Broad Umbrella Of Hip-Hop

The one beautiful thing about Hip-Hop is the breadth of its reach and the depth of its artistry. Toosii has proven himself to be a Hip-Hop artist with immeasurable depth in expressionism. His smooth rhythmic sound is distinctive. And when he steps up to the mic, whether in the booth or on stage, he pours himself fully into what he does best. And from the looks of it, he’s on his way to achieving all his dreams.

When asked about his aspirations, Toosii told Flaunt in a 2022 interview, “I want to go #1, to continue to shock the world. It’s a whole world that doesn’t know me.” And we believe that. With talent and some Hip-Hop magic, anything is possible.
