Tory Lanez defended Chris Brown, who is now facing accusations. Unfortunately, Chris Brown had found himself in the spotlight again for allegations of rape. One artist is saying he’s had enough of people coming for Brown. So Tory Lanez went to social media to speak on Chris Brown’s behalf.
A Recap On Trending Chris Brown Story
A woman came forth claiming that Chris Brown raped her on December 30th while at a party. The incident reportedly took place on a yacht outside P. Diddy’s home. Chris Brown later posted on social media in response to the allegations. The crooner claims the woman in question was primarily looking for a come-up like the others before.
“Hope y’all see this pattern of [cap] whenever I’m releasing music or projects, ‘THEY’ try to pull some real bullshit.”
Tory Lanez Defends Chris Brown
Many are familiar with Chris Brown’s history, and it’s not exactly spotless. However, this new allegation and his response cause some to give Brown the side-eye. Others, such as Tory Lanez, are defending Chris.
Lanez makes it clear he is in Brown’s corner. His recent statements are proof of his position.
“Every time he got some good sh*t going on.. or he start an album rollout here, somebody come with some fake sh*t to drag him down!!!!! “
Without a doubt, Tory Lanez is rigorously defending Chris. Seeing brothers sticking up for each other is not abnormal. However, how could Lanez possibly ascertain whether current allegations are fake with no proof? Now that’s not a good look.
Regardless Of What Tory Lanez Says In Defense, Chris Brown’s History Speaks Loudly
Brown has a history of violence against women. We know he has a history of allegations against him for sexual misconduct. History will often lead people to choose a side prematurely. As of yet, no solid evidence has been reported confirming the incident. Conversely, Tory Lanez can’t defend Chris Brown by denying the alleged victim’s detailed account.
Are There New Developments?
Brown and his team have made no comments since his initial posting on social media. However, he may not need to make a statement. Does Chris need to say anything else when others, like Tory Lanez, stand in the gap as character witnesses?
We will follow where this goes. If it is found the “Love in this Club” singer committed the act, may justice find him? On the other hand, if it is all a ploy, as Lanez argues, hopefully, Brown learns something. Regardless, FM Hip Hop will keep an eye out.
