Exercise is more enjoyable when performed to music that motivates and puts one’s mind in a positive frame. Fitness Volt analyzed which artists were featured most frequently on Spotify’s most listened workout playlists.

Fitness Volt is an online fitness and nutrition resource dedicated to strength sports. It aims to provide readers with proven knowledge and practices concerning the latest wellness and nutritional trends.

Which Artist Is Currently At The Top Of The Most Listened-To Artists On The Workout Playlists?

The new study shows that Dutch DJ Tiesto dominates the list of artists most often listened to while exercising in the United States. The scientists ranked Tiësto as the most famous artist. The appeal of certain artists contributes to their higher profile and status.

Furthermore, the analysis indicated that Tiësto featured 51 times in conjunction with commonly heard songs, including “Hot In It” and “The Motto.”

A second-place finisher in the analysis is Canadian rapper Drake. His songs “Massive” and “Chicago Freestyle” were featured 49 times.

Moreover, 41 times are featured in Spotify’s workout playlists for French DJ David Guetta. He is third in the U.S. for workout music.

There Is A High Concentration Of DJs On The List

The music created by DJs is very popular with the masses.

English DJ Joel Corry, who has appeared 30 times on the site, took fourth place. One of his most frequently played songs is” ‘What Would You Do?'” which appears eight times on the list, along with “OUT OUT” (feat. Charli XCX & Saweetie).

Furthermore, Swedish DJ Alesso is fifth on the list of most popular workout playlists in the United States. One of the most famous songs features is “Words” (featuring Zara Larsson).

Hip-Hop Artists Are Receiving High Praise

As the list continues, Jack Harlow, the rapper behind the song “Nail Tech,” takes sixth place. Harlow has established a strong presence in the music industry since he entered the scene in 2020. In addition to his “Dua Lipa” song being featured six times, a remix of “WHATS POPPIN” (featuring DaBaby, Tory Lanez, and Lil Wayne) has also been featured six times.

With 25 appearances in workout playlists, American rapper Lil Baby is seventh in the ranks. “Detox” and “Right On” are two of his most famous songs.

A joint eighth place goes to Swedish House Mafia and “BOP” rapper DaBaby, each appearing 24 times in the playlists.

More DJs

In addition, there are 22 features by Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren, ranked ninth on the list. In terms of popularity, “One More Time” and “No Fun” were the most popular songs.

For someone who loves music, listening to music produced by DJs holds a certain appeal. There is no doubt that these songs fall under the workout playlist category due to their melody, beats, tempo, and rhythm.

Last but not least, Brazilian DJ Alok ranks tenth, appearing on Spotify’s most favorite workout playlists 21 times.

Notably, a spokesperson for Fitness Volt speaks on the importance of listening to music while exercising. Also, they argue that the public closely associates certain artists with working out.

“Music plays a vital part in many people’s workout regime, with studies having shown it helps to distract from pain, elevates mood, and increases stamina. The similarities between the most played artists reveal that there are certain genres and artists that are particularly popular to accompany exercise.”

“The study shows which artists people choose to listen to for their workout, crowning rappers, DJs and electro musicians the most favoured.”

DJ Akademiks Claims Ebro Is Blackballing DaBaby

DaBaby has been canceled online for about a year now for some poor homophobic comments made at one of the Rolling Loud Festivals last summer. Some have forgiven the North Carolina rapper, but many in the industry are still distancing themselves from Dababy. DJ Akademiks recently appeared on The Breakfast Club & claims that Ebro, Hot97’s icon, is still blackballing Dababy & his music.

The broader reason why Akademiks is calling the radio personality out is that he believes Ebro is “using Apple Music as a weapon for ur personal issues.” He even compared Dababy’s last album sales with his new album’s significantly lower projections. For additional comparison, independent rapper LUCKI is projected to outsell the Charlotte megastar with his new album Flawless Like Me. Take a look at the full tweet of Akademiks follow-up response to Ebro’s actions:

Dababy’s New Album Stirs Up More Controversy

Speaking of Dababy’s new album, the rapper dropped Baby On Baby 2 this past Friday (September 23rd). This is a sequel to his fan-favorite project Baby On Baby which jumpstarted his career & contains several huge hits from that year. The new release isn’t getting the same love though, as the sales projections would suggest. He also revealed his past sex history with Megan Thee Stallion despite their current beef with each other. While Dababy raps that he waiting to share this information on this album, many feel as the rapper attempted a clout chase. On a positive note, the song “Boogeyman” itself is still pretty good outside of that line:

What Is The Fate Of The Charolette Star?

Some still are in love with Dababy & his music while others have moved on from his antics & shenanigans. Although he’s arguably releasing the same quality of material at times, he’s also struggling to reach the same streams & success he attained over the years. Whether you agree with/support him or not, do you think Dababy’s career will be fine longterm?

DaniLeigh Says The Situation With B. Simone “Wasn’t That Deep”

DaBaby has caused a rift between DaniLeigh and Wild N’ Out star B. Simone, and he didn’t even need to be present! Reportedly, B. Simone was told to sit back for Wild N’ Out’s recent episode.

Because DaniLeigh was the celebrity guest-host that night, she requested for B. Simone to hang tight because of her history with the rapper. The comedian and “Baby On Baby” artist were rumored to have a romantic relationship. Meanwhile, DaniLeigh and DaBaby currently have a daughter together named Velour.

Although the singer initially tried to deny the rumors, B. Simone’s cast mates/friends spoke up about what happened.

“Let’s get something very clear, guys: The producers at wild ‘n out try do their best to make the guests feel comfortable… please don’t give this girl a power trip….”

SHE FELT AWKWARD ASF THE WHOLE TIME! DONT PLAY WIT B…Obviously, she needed the episode more than B. She got music to sell….SHID OUR TOURS DONT STOP,” Jess Hilarious wrote underneath a post on The Neighborhood Talk.

DaniLeigh and B. Simone already have some animosity towards one another. Previously, the “Situations” singer discovered texts from her father’s child and was even the subject of B. Simone’s diss track.

B. Simone Speaks Out

After the news about what transpired, B. Simone addressed it on Tamron Hall’s show. She confirmed the rumors before expressing her opinion on what happened.

“It is true, but we’re gonna have grace for that situation. I don’t agree with it, but I do understand it, especially…you know, she’s not that mature, so we’re just gonna have grace for her and move forward.”

B. Simone continued, “I know that sounds like…I don’t even have a publicist, that sounds like the publicist’s answer, but I’ve had time to think about it and not react emotionally, and that’s genuinely how I feel.”

The Other Side

Once everything was out in the open, DaniLeigh decided to tell her side of the story. Verifying that the two don’t get along, DaniLeigh says she didn’t demand the Wild N’ Out producers to boot B. Simone off this specific episode.

“Me and B. Simone are not cool,” DaniLeigh started. “So, I just—my team asked if she doesn’t do the episode that I do, respectfully. It was never anything to be like, ‘I’m a diva, I don’t want’—I thought it’d be more mature to not have us sitting next to each other on a show, making it mad awkward and uncomfortable.”

“I’m protecting my peace. I’m protecting my heart on the situation,” DaniLeigh added. “It wasn’t petty. She was actually there, so I’m sure she got paid. It wasn’t to take nobody from nobody’s pocket.”

DaBaby Says He Slept With Megan Thee Stallion In Latest Track ‘Boogeyman’

North Carolina rapper DaBaby reportedly said he slept with Texas rapper Megan Thee Stallion in his new track “Boogeyman.”

According to Newsweek, DaBaby made the bold claims in a line of the new song, which dropped on Sept. 23–the same day as his new album Baby on Baby 2. In the beginning of “Boogeyman,” the rapper said he slept with Megan several times, days before Canadian singer Tory Lanez allegedly shot her.

“The day before she said that Tory Lanez shot her, I was f***in on Megan Thee Stallion,” he rapped immediately after calling her childish.

The Houston hottie accused Tory of shooting her in the foot back in 2020. She also accused him of telling her to “dance b***h” while doing so. Later that year, authorities charged Tory and he pleaded not guilty. His criminal trial was initially supposed to take place in September 2022, but officials scheduled it for later in the year.

DaBaby continued, warning that his opposition would have to “handle me” if they started “poking the bear.”

The 30-year-old previously worked with him on her 2019 hit “Cash S**t” and her 2020 hit “Cry Baby.” DaBaby also featured Megan as a guest artist on his 2020 song “Nasty.” However, their camaraderie seems to have died down completely since then.

Baby on Baby 2 arrived just weeks after his recent New Orleans concert was reportedly canceled due to low ticket sales. He was going to perform at Smoothie King Center in September, alongside guests NoCap and Showtek. However, Ticketmaster revealed that fans only bought a small number of seats. The Smoothie King center reportedly has a capacity of 14,000 people.

Megan has not publicly responded to DaBaby’s claims. On a lighter note, she will be performing and hosting a Saturday Night Live episode in October.

DaBaby Gets Crucified in ‘Tough Skin’ Music Video

DaBaby released his latest music video for his track “Tough Skin” where he gets crucified and burned in the video. The track was released on Tuesday, August, 9, and the visual representation was released very soon after that. The video shows the Charlottesville native bound to a cross with faceless figures in matching red suits around him. The faceless figures throw rocks at DaBaby’s naked body before lighting him on fire. This new single finds the “Bop” rapper reliving and reminiscing about his rough childhood upbringing. While on the Full Send podcast, DaBaby mentioned that this music is the most focused of his career. The rapper stated, “This is the most attention I’ve paid to some music before I dropped it.”

DaBaby took to Instagram to announce the release of the single “Let’s get this Baby on Baby 2 shit started.” Check out the full Instagram post below.

A post shared by BILLION DOLLAR BABY 👶🏾 (@dababy)

DaBaby’s Rough Years and How it Shaped His Music

Things have certainly not been easy for DaBaby lately, earlier this year he confirmed that someone tried to invade his home. DaBaby explains the situation of the home invader while on the same podcast, stating “I got a call from somebody that was outside working, like my contractor. I got a call from him and he was like ‘Somebody’s on the football field.” The rapper shot the intruder in the leg after they trespassed on his 2.3 million dollar home in Troutman. Before this, in 2021 a video of the rapper being interrogated by Miami Beach Police was made public and revealed he was involved in another shooting that left two people injured. Both shootings seemed to be cases of self-defense.

With so many difficulties happening to DaBaby, it’s no wonder that this music video has a bit darker tone than previous ones. See the full music video below.

DaBaby Discusses His Successful Career, Rolling Loud Predicament, And More

DaBaby, born Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, is among the most popular rappers today. However, if you are unfamiliar with him, you can learn a lot by reading this article.

Recently, DaBaby was interviewed by Kyle Forgeard, Bradley Martyn, and Steiny on Bob Menery’s Full Send Podcast on July 22. The “Kirk” rapper addressed several headline-grabbing topics during the lively discussion.

How Much Money Does Jonathan Make From His Performances?

He has traveled to several countries throughout his career, including South Korea. As a result of doing one show in South Korea, he earned a significant amount of money. Approximately 10,000 people attended this concert.

“In South Korea I made $450,000 for one show,” he said in the interview. “Do you know how many people came?” Steiny asked. “I think they had about 10,000 out there. It was outside of where they have the Olympics at,” said DaBaby.

Also, the Charlotte native says he receives offers of $200,000 for performing at clubs on occasion.

DaBaby Makes Infuriating Remarks

As a recap, July 25, 2021, in Miami, the third and final day of the Rolling Loud Music Festival, was an unsettling experience for many festival-goers. In addition to DaBaby, other big-name artists such as Megan Thee Stallion, Jack Harlow, Chris Brown, and several others also took the stage. However, some of his performance was quite different from what many expected.

At one point in the performance, the “21” rapper erupted on a rant and made homophobic and misogynistic remarks.

“If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up,” he told the crowd.

“Ladies, if your p*ssy smell like water, put your cellphone lighter up. Fellas, if you ain’t sucking d*ck in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up.”

Many people were offended by these remarks. Nevertheless, rapper T.I. defended him. Nonetheless, Jonathan maintains good relations with Rolling Loud regardless of what transpired at the festival. “It’s all love with Rolling Loud, ” he told Full Send Podcast. “When everything was going on with Rolling Loud I still went on like a tour with them and everything.”

Commercial

Here’s a fun fact: DaBaby told Full Send Podcast that he was developing his own meal at Burger King, the Jonathan Kirk Meal. Unfortunately, he shot an advertisement for it, but it never made it to television due to the controversy surrounding him at the time. Because the meal would contain natural, unprocessed ingredients, Burger King intended to use his government name instead of his stage name.

Even though DaBaby has been involved in a great deal of drama during his career, he explained in the podcast at the 40:50 mark that he is not an aggressive individual. Contrary to what the media portrays. Also, FMHipHop reports that the rapper has exhibited a kindly disposition. It explains why we have not heard of any recent drama involving him.

DaBaby Makes Vow To Be More Positive

Recently, DaBaby has made an effort to turn a new leaf and engage in positive behavior. The Charlotte native has had his fair share of altercations but is now sharing messages of peace and anti-gun violence.

With gun violence seemingly on the rise across the country as well as his hometown, DaBaby discussed how children should find more positive ways to express themselves in a recent interview.

“If they do that, everything else will follow suit. Whether it’s sports or if you like doing music, do whatever you want to do,” DaBaby said.

However, DaBaby is well known for his controversial past. He has been the subject of police investigations, including the fatal shooting of a teenager in a local Walmart. He received a 30 day jail sentence as well as 12 months probation. Unseen footage of the shooting was released by Rolling Stone in April of this year.

Also in April, a person was shot in the leg while trespassing at DaBaby’s Charlotte compound. Police haven’t identified the shooter, but they said there would be no criminal charges.

DaBaby’s plan to be positive

Ahead of his performance at the QC Sound Stage Saturday, DaBaby laid out his plans to help fund an athletic facility for kids in Charlotte.

“Me and the city are turning a new leaf,” the “Suge” artist said. “The government officials now understand I bring more to the table than just music.”

He also advised citizens to learn more about gun laws, addressing the lack of measures preventing school shootings.

“School, that ain’t no place for a gun at all, by nobody,” he explained. “Implementing something like… a buffer, whether it’s metal detectors or what. The same way you get searched at the airport, it needs to be like that to walk into a school.”

Brandon Bills Addresses Fans Regarding TikTok Video With Sister DaniLeigh

DaniLeigh is twerking next to her brother in a new TikTok, which may have also sparked controversy. Brandon Bills claps back at fans to say there was nothing weird about the clip.

DaniLeigh and her brother Brandon Bills are no strangers to social media. A few months back, the pair got involved in a heated dispute with DaBaby, DaniLeigh’s child’s father.

Brandon Bills and DaniLeigh Receive Backlash

Clearly, DaniLeigh has no shame in shaking what her mother gave her. However, many fans have stressed their opinions about the TikTok being disturbing and weird. No matter how one looks at it, Bills checks out his sister’s butt.
