Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Welcome Baby #2

Rihanna adds another member to her family! The Bajan icon reportedly gave birth to her second baby earlier this month. TMZ reports the couple have another boy and the baby’s name starts with “R.” That would keep the family’s name trend going: Robyn (Rihanna), Rakim (A$AP Rocky), and RZA. The iconic pair are already parents to RZA, who is a little over a year old. 

Historical Surprise Pregnancy Announcement

The 35-year-old and her partner are now a family of four. This according to sources who have spoken to Entertainment Tonight, PEOPLE and TMZ. RZA was born in May 2022. So, her surprise pregnancy reveal at her Super Bowl halftime show this year took the world by storm. A team member officially confirmed she was carrying another life after her performance. She displayed her baby bump during the performance as she rubbed her tummy several times while she danced. Her all-red outfit also played a huge part in the swirl of questions that surrounded after her halftime show. She wore a fitted bandeau top under a zipped down jumpsuit, the zipper hitting just below her belly.

RZA’s Name Comes From Hip-Hop Royalty

Robyn Fenty’s eldest son’s name was just confirmed a few months ago. The 15-month-old’s name, RZA, pays homage to the WU-Tang Clan star. The hip-hop legend showed love after finding out the couple honored him. 

Sources Speak To Entertainment Tonight

The newborn’s name and gender have not been disclosed. Plus, the couple hasn’t publicly confirmed the birth of their second child. A source told Entertainment Tonight, “Rihanna and A$AP will spend the early days of parenthood out of the public eye.” The insider also added, ” [the pair] won’t make any immediate plans to debut the new baby.”

We will miss seeing Rihanna’s chic “maternity” outfits as the “Take A Bow” singer never let her bump hinder her. However, she embraced every look and proudly showcased her pregnancy for all eyes to see.

PETA apparently felt extremely generous and wanted to gift Rihanna a faux fur coat. As many know, the fashionista is always on top of her fashion game, so it is a kind gesture for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals to add to her wardrobe. But the reasons are obvious… PETA advocates for not wearing anything of real animals.

A Letter To Rihanna

PETA decided to gift Rihanna a faux fur coat after she appeared to wear real fur to dinner. The so-called animal rights organization wrote the pregnant singer pleading their case. They attempted to compare Rihanna’s motherly instinct to animals’ maternal instinct to protect their families.

“As a mother, you know what it’s like to feel protective and to want to make sure no harm comes to your family. Please understand that this desire — this instinct even — is shared by the minks, foxes, and rabbits who are torn away from their families and killed for their fur,” the letter from the animal organization said. 

First Pregnancy Gave Unpredictable Maternity Looks From Rih

In her last pregnancy, Rihanna showed off with some unpredictable maternity looks.

However, she changed her look slightly during her second child‘s pregnancy. Ri Ri is now giving us more covered-up fashion while still remaining to strike us all with her beauty.

This is one of the first looks we are catching from Robyn Fenty since her striking Super Bowl Halftime Show performance. People can’t seem to get enough of Rihanna, as PETA is not holding back in commentary on her real fur coat. Rihanna is a billionaire… not sure if we should expect anything less but her to be wearing a real fur coat, printed baggy jeans, and a sick graphic tee.

Rihanna is always pressing the envelope with her clothes and hairstyles. No one can place Rihanna in a box because she will find a way to break out of it. So good luck to PETA!

Cardi B Not Rushing New Album

Cardi B hasn’t released in album in 4 years!  That’s a shame because her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, was received very well.  In fact, it won a Grammy for Best Rap Album in 2018!  What’s the holdup Bardi?  She is really busy after all; she is a mom of two and an A-list celebrity that does more than just music.  Just recently, a fan suggested that the Bronx rapper hasn’t dropped anything because she is afraid it won’t sell.

The fan said this on TikTok after Saweetie had very low sales number after releasing her new tape, The Single Life.  Cardi had time to clap back at the fan on Twitter.  She said she doesn’t have to put out another album if she doesn’t want to because of her Diamond records.  Her Diamond records include, her breakout hit, “Bodak Yellow” and “I Like It” featuring J Balvin and Bad Bunny, and “Girls Like You”, which is a collaboration with pop group Maroon 5.  She continued to add that her tours do numbers as well.  In 2019, her Arena Tour grossed an average of $1 million per show!  It’s safe to say Cardi B is living well and might not ever have to make another album again.

Invasion of Privacy is still doing numbers to this day!  The debut album is certified triple platinum.  She became the first female rapper to have multiple number-one songs at the same time on the Billboard Hot 100.  This album is the first album in music history to have all songs certified platinum or higher.  Invasion of Privacy is the best-selling female rap album of the 2010s!  With this much success, I don’t blame her for not rushing to record.  She may be taking a page from Rihanna’s book.  We know the Fenty owner doesn’t have to step in the booth ever again if she doesn’t want to.  Cardi may be on the same type of time.

Rihanna Set To Headline Super Bowl 2023 Halftime Show, “I’m Nervous But I’m Excited”

Although it’s been a while since Rihanna has released any new music, the singer will be hitting the stage in February as she headlines the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show. On Sunday, September 25th, an unexpected announcement was made by the NFL on their Twitter account saying “Let’s GO,” tagging Rihanna.

According to Complex, a TMZ reporter spoke with Rihanna outside a grocery store in Los Angeles on Tuesday, October 4th. In a clip that was caught by the paparazzo waiting for the star directly outside of the store, the woman asks, “How do you feel about performing at the..” but before she could finish Riri chimed in to say, “you are too… that was real sneaky girl!”

The reporter continued to say, “I’m sorry, but I have to ask. How do you feel about performing at the Super Bowl Halftime Show?” Rihanna responded with, “I’m nervous, but I’m excited.” The paps continued to question the Fenty Beauty creator as to who she will be bringing out on the stage. As Rihanna walks past, she shrugs her shoulders trying her best to brush off the conversation. The woman behind the camera said, “could it be ASAP?” and told the idol, she’s “gotta know.” As the “Needed Me” singer got into the car, she threw up a peace sign, thanking her.

Rihanna has fans excited for her LVII Super Bowl Halftime Performance!

The NFL, Apple Music, and Roc Nation broke the news of the artist headlining Super Bowl status just last month. A statement shared by Roc Nation founder and frequent collaborator Jay-Z suggested Rihanna acts as a “generational talent” who is “self-made in business and entertainment.”

Past Super Bowl Halftime performances have seen stars such as Dr. Dre, Snoop, Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar in 2022, The Weeknd in 2021, Shakira and Jennifer Lopez in 2020, and the list goes on. Meanwhile, Dr. Dre spoke with Ebro Darden on Apple Music 1 just last month, where he shared some advice for the singer. He says, “Put the right people around you, and have fun! That’s basically what it is, making sure you have the right creative people around you.” Dre then adds, “I’m a super fan of Rihanna. I can’t wait to see what she’s going to do.”

Fenty By Rihanna May Be Taken To Another Level, The Artist Trademarks ‘Fenty Hair’ To Soon Sell Wigs And Hair Products!

Rihanna may have recently given birth to a baby boy, but that won’t stop the artist and beauty module from continuing her business adventures. According to All Hip Hop, Rihanna filed for a new trademark with a mission to sell wigs and other hair products, called Fenty Hair.

Fenty brand expanding into hair products!

Although it’s been a while since Rihanna has put out any music, the “Sex With Me” artist continues her success by expanding her beauty line with Fenty Hair, as she feels fans would love to strut wigs made by her. The United States Patent and Trademark Office worked with her company, Roraj Trade, LLC, in filing legal documents geared toward hair care. On March 3, the singer produced two Fenty Hair categories with a variety of hair care products. Included in the categories were not only hairbrushes and combs, but also hair accessories, and several styling implements. The trademark also designed wigs, hair extensions, other false hair, and toupees.  The two categories continue to expand surrounding anything from styling, straightening, relaxing, and waving products to even hair color and glitter.

Rihanna taking over hair care industry!

Rihanna may be taking over the hair care industry as trademark applications would agree. Over the years, the superstar has gained an extremely loyal fanbase worldwide in which her global empire includes Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, and Savage x Fenty and now introducing Fenty Hair.

In other news, Rihanna took a trip to Paris this weekend to support her man, A$AP Rocky while he is on his European tour. While strutting around the city before A$AP’s Lollapalooza concert, the Fenty Owner and new mom has never looked better for someone after giving birth. She appeared to be very stylish as always rocking an Adidas x Balenciaga navy, green, and white ensemble with pantaleggings to cover her heels. Rihanna has always been a trendsetter, especially during her pregnancy but for this occasion, she accessorized the sporty look with layers of necklaces and chains, and to top off the look with some signature glam.

Rihanna Debuts on ‘Forbes’ Annual Billionaires List

For the first time in her career, Rihanna has made the ‘Forbes‘ annual billionaires list. The 34-year-old officially reached billionaire status in 2021 with an estimated net worth of $1.7 billion.

According to Forbes Madeline Berg, Rihanna’s newfound wealth isn’t due to her musical career. Instead, her successful ventures into beauty and fashion are the key to her wealth. Per Forbes’ report, RiRi’s stake in her Fenty Beauty line makes up most of her wealth.

The company, which Rihanna co-owns with conglomerate LVMH, brought in more than $550 million in revenue in 2020. She also owns a 30 percent stake in her Savage x Fenty beauty line, which raised $115 million at a $1 billion valuation in 2021.

Rihanna, expecting her first child with ASAP Rocky, is also the first billionaire from Barbados. She spoke about the achievement with the New York Times in September 2021.

“It’s tricky because it’s hard to even accept that’s where you’re at because I know where I’ve come from,” RiRi said. “At the same time, it feels good to be able to inspire young women and boys, who like me, come from humble beginnings, who come from parents who are immigrants or who are immigrants themselves, to be able to do this.”

Rihanna joins other ‘Forbes’ celebrities

According to Forbes, there are now 2,668 billionaires with a collective net worth of $12.7 trillion. Rihanna was ranked at 1,729. 2021’s list had 2,755 billionaires with a total estimated net worth of $13.1 trillion. The publication attributes the decline- the most significant drop since 2009- to sanctions on Russia, which lost 1/3 of its fortune due to the ruble’s collapse.

This year’s list was topped by Elon Musk, with Amazon founder Jeff Bezos taking the number two spot. LVMH owners Bernard Arnault, Bill Gates, and Warren Buffet filled out the rest of the top five. Other celebrities included on the list were Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, and Jay Z.

Rihanna’s Rock Filled Ring Finger Sparks Rumors of Engagement To A$AP Rocky

Last month, A$AP Rocky and Rihanna announced they’d been pregnant with their first child by sharing a pregnancy photoshoot with PEOPLE magazine. TMZ published a photo of the Barbadian star sporting a giant ring on her left hand’s ring finger. Now, there are rumors the couple plans to marry.

Does Rihanna’s Ring Represent an Engagement or Something Else?

Rihanna was seen by paparazzi while shopping at Kitson, a local boutique, in Los Angeles on Monday (Mar. 20). There’s a possibility the ring has nothing to do with an engagement. For instance, after receiving the Barbados National Hero award last November, she wore the same ring on another finger. Then, she rocked it on her middle finger while filming a music video with A$AP Rocky in July 2021.

Engagement rumors have been going around ever since A$AP Rocky and Rihanna started dating in November 2020. In August 2021, a source told Us Weekly an engagement was on the horizon.

“These two are so madly in love, and it’s true there’s a lot of buzz in their circle about an engagement being in the works,” they said. “Going by the hints Rocky’s been dropping, [it] may well happen soon, but there’s no pressure and what matters most to both of them is to keep building on this truly beautiful thing they’ve got going.”

Teasing the Fans

After Rihanna’s baby news, some people were more worried about the imaginary follow-up to ANTI, which has yet to happen. In February, the singer said she likes to annoy her fans by making them wait. However, two years later, the project still hasn’t happened.

Before her Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 3 in Los Angeles, Rihanna told the Associated Press, “You’re not going to expect what you hear — just put that in your mind. Whatever you know of Rihanna is not going to be what you hear. I’m really experimenting. Music is like fashion: you should be able to play. I should be able to wear whatever I want and I treat music the same way. So I’m having fun and it’s going to be completely different.”

Rihanna has extended her line of Fenty Beauty products to perfume!

Earlier this week, Rihanna announced the latest addition to Fenty Beauty: Perfume! Eau de Parfum will stock Fenty’s virtual shelves starting August 10, and fans could not be more excited. The perfume will be exclusive to the Fenty Beauty website for a limited time, and the price is set at $120. “One smell you’ll never forget” is the scent, as described by the Barbados mogul. This leaves a lot of speculation up to the imagination of the buyer. Despite only selling online, the perfume will definitely sell out quickly when August 10 comes. When guests place an order for more than $40, they will also receive and Eau de Parfum sample with their purchase.

“It’s an experience; it’s a memory, encapsulated into a fragrance.”

Once again, Rihanna never ceases to amaze with new additions to her Fenty collections. Fenty Beauty markets their products towards everyone, with this latest addition being no different. She has, in the past, showed great levels of inclusion in her advertising campaigns, with models of all skin tones, sizes, genders, and orientations. She created the perfume in the perfume capital of Grasse, France. Fenty claims that Rihanna selected each ingredient personally, and we already know she has great taste! So we hope Riri delivers, once again, with product that continues to amaze!

A$ap Rocky and Rihanna Dating? Heres What We Know

 

Pretty Flacko and Bad Girl Riri are rumored to be dating. The news comes after the New York Post’s Page Six reported that the couple-both 32, were spotted having dinner with friends at the Beatrice Inn in New York over the weekend. Rumors of their relationship started after Rihanna  split from her billionaire boyfriend, Hassan Jameel, in January. Since then, the pair have been seen hanging out together multiple times.

In July, Rihanna also featured the rapper in her Fenty Skin campaign. The two did several interviews together to promote the collaboration. During these interviews, fans seemingly noticed the two doing some light flirting. “My skin type is just as complicated as men are,” Rihanna jokingly said when A$AP Rocky asked about her skin type for Vogue. “Y’all always try to say women are complicated but it’s y’all!” When Rihanna asked the rapper what his own skin is like, he answered: “Handsome.”

A$AP Rocky and Rihanna have been friends for a while now. The rapper served as an opening act for the U.S. dates of her Diamonds World Tour in 2013. A$AP Rocky was also featured on her track “Cockiness.”

The duo was also seen attending a Louis Vuitton fashion show in Paris back in 2018.

The rapper has previously dated celebrities such as Kendall Jenner in 2017 and Brazilian model Daiane Sodré last year.

Now, Rihanna is  pretty private about her personal life, so don’t expect her to confirm these dating reports anytime soon. But,who knows! Maybe they are just friends; maybe they are just friends with benefits; maybe they are an official item. The Rumors seem to be true, but whatever the status is of the duo we’re willing to bet that Drake is on the case.

Together, Rihanna and Christian Combs, the new brand ambassador, “designed gender fluid underwear and loungewear” for the collection.

 

This announcement leads to the Savage X Fenty Fall/Winter 2020 show that will premiere on Amazon on the same day. The collection will be inspired by “Comb’s 90’s fashion and New York attitude”.

According to a recent press release, the Fenty Menswear collection “will consist of a range of a satin monogram print [pajamas], woven boxers, knit boxers and trunks.”

 

The multifaceted entrepreneur  “wanted to create menswear styles that everyone can wear. And after Christian did such a great job at the 2019 fashion show wearing men’s, I knew we had to have him as a collaborator.”
