South Side Chef Clears Name in PNB Rock Murder

Emmanul Danquah, a videographer and photographer in Minneapolis with the screen name South Side Chef, has cleared his name in the PNB Rock murder case. Before the murder, the two had an argument. Following PNB’s murder, people on social media began to claim that Chef was the murderer.

Past feud ignites rumors

South Side Chef and Rock’s argument dates back to 2021, and was over a stolen shirt design. Various bloggers and Youtubers have used that argument to implicate Chef in PNB’s murder. However they were claiming that the argument between Chef and PNB had happened shortly before his death, when that was simply not the case. In fact, after the argument the two men became friends and were actually planning on a charity boxing match.

“When we had our last talks, we weren’t at odds,” Chef said. “He was a real one. He was gonna give me an opportunity to change both of our lives with this fight that we were promoting … I’m thankful for that.”

The rumors were so bad that he had to push back against them during an interview with the Drea O Show. Another reason for Chef clearing his name is due to the LAPD looking into PNB Rock’s past beefs and enemies.

Just because there was an argument once, that does not mean that there will always be problems between the two. People can grow and change, as Chef and PNB Rock’s situation certainly proves.

PNB Rock’s murder still unsolved

PNB Rock died September 12th, 2022 while out eating out with his girlfriend at Roscoe’s House of Chicken & Waffles in South Los Angeles. While dining he was approached by at least one armed suspect. This suspect demanded jewelry and after a verbal exchange, shot Rock several times.

There is currently no known suspects in the case.

Rapper PnB Rock Dead After Being Robbed And Shot In L.A. Restaurant

Devastating news has taken over the internet! Rakim Hasheem Allen, better known by his stage name PnB Rock, was robbed, shot, and killed in front of his girlfriend, Stephanie Sibounheuang Monday afternoon in a Los Angeles restaurant called Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffles. He was 30 years old.

A panic ensued among employees as the “Selfish” rapper lay on the floor fighting for his life, according to TMZ.

PnB Rock Posted Himself Wearing Diamond Chains; Did It Make Him A Target?

Before the shooting, the “Fleek” rapper posted a video of himself in the car with Stephanie wearing several diamond and silver chains. Capt. Kelly Muniz of the Los Angeles Police Department told the LA Times that the suspect posed a gun threat and requested items from the victim. Unfortunately,  according to law enforcement sources, the rapper’s jewelry was targeted.

“He shot the victim and ran out the side door to a getaway car and then fled the parking lot,” Muniz reportedly said.

In addition, a graphic video circulating the internet shows a group of spectators and an employee encircling the rapper lying in a pool of blood. He was twitching and desperately struggling for his life. Rock seemed to have sustained severe injuries based on his lost blood. Sadly, the 30-year-old victim was rushed to a nearby hospital around 1:59 p.m., where he was pronounced dead.

According to Muniz’s remarks, the South Bureau of Homicide and many other detectives will investigate the incident.

Rock’s Girlfriend Allegedly Exposed Their Location

It’s been revealed in the latest issue of People that shortly before the shooting, Rock’s girlfriend uploaded a video of her meal. In addition, she allegedly tagged it with their location in a since-deleted Instagram Story.

Law enforcement sources received a call at 1:23 p.m. reporting a shooting victim at the Inglewood location. According to KTLA and a source connected to the restaurant, PnB was the only target of the attack. However, the suspect has not been identified.

Per People, police sources told The Los Angeles Times that they are examining surveillance footage from the restaurant and nearby businesses to identify the suspect.

Moreover, a spike in armed robberies on streets and homes across Los Angeles during which thieves target victims for their luxury watches, jewelry, and handbags has prompted his death.

Twitter Users Blame His Girlfriend

Twitter users have expressed concern about PnB’s condition in the hospital before his death and are upset about this news. However, many have blamed his girlfriend for the shooting taking place Monday. Take a look below!

It Never Ends

What a heartbreaking story! There is no end to the killing of rappers and people in general.

The tragic incident that occurred to this man, in which he was taken away from his family, is unfortunate. What can be done to rectify this situation? Condolences and prayers are extended to his girlfriend, family, and friends during this difficult time. Rest in peace, PnB Rock.

Report Reveals A Suspect In The Death of Young Dolph Was Attacked In Jail

TMZ reports another inmate punched Young Dolph’s murder suspect, Justin Johnson, while making a phone call last Friday (Mar 18). Likewise, Juni Ganguli, Johnson’s lawyer, says he was in the visitation area of the facility when someone struck him.

Furthermore, the exact location of Johnson’s hit is unclear. Still, TMZ claims the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office said there are no injuries.

Young Dolph was shot and killed inside of Makeda’s Butter Cookies in Memphis on Nov 17, 2021. He was 36 years old. This case has continued to develop after his passing. Memphis police were searching for two suspects in connection with the murder the day after Dolph’s death.

Images that appear to be from surveillance videos show two men standing outside Makeda’s Butter Cookies near Dolph’s vehicle. Police posted a wanted fugitive alert for Justin Johnson, 23, on Jan 5.

The arrest of Johnson took place on Jan 15 after spending a short period on the run and dropping music. The police have also arrested Cornelius Smith, another alleged gunman.

Straight Drop, Justin Johnson’s stage name, appears to have filmed a music video at the same Tennessee home in the past where police found the getaway vehicle used in Dolph’s murder. However, the car was found Saturday in the Orange Mound neighborhood of South Memphis on 1100 block of Bradley Street. After talking to law enforcement, a FOX13 reporter confirmed the news, who believes they might have it.

Young Dolph’s Autopsy Report Released

Additionally, Dolph’s autopsy report came out last week. He is a victim of 22 shots. Nevertheless, it appears homicide is the cause of his death.

Following Dolph’s death, his family released a statement: “There are no words that exist, that sufficiently express the pain we are feeling as a family. Losing Adolph, Dolph, Man-Man, changes our lives forever.

And while we will take each day as it comes, we also know that he leaves a legacy that reflects his heart. A heart that was for his family. A heart that was for the people.”
