Lil Durk has canceled a few of his upcoming tour dates for his Sorry For Draught Tour. The rapper also backed out of his Rolling Loud Miami performance that was set for this Friday, Jul. 21. As of today (Jul. 18), 24 dates had been marked as canceled, with five shows remaining unaffected. Two of the shows will take place in his hometown Chicago’s United Center.
DJ Akademiks Issues Statement
DJ Akademiks took to Instagram to say that he got a statement from Durk about the cancellations. “Since I’m still awaiting to get full clearance from my doctors to travel and perform again, I have no other choice but to cancel my headlining Rolling Loud performance. While I’m home resting, I am looking forward to my two homecoming shows on the 11th & 12th in Chicago. For the rest of the country, I’ll be announcing new dates soon. #StillHealing”

The Aug. 11 show is part of the headlining tour, while the Aug. 12 show is 107.5 WGCI’s Summer Jam, where Durk is still scheduled to perform alongside Kodak Black, NLE Choppa, and DD Osama. The non-canceled shows include Jul. 28 in Tampa, Florida, Aug. 13 in Indiana, and Aug. 21 in Houston, TX.
Kodak Black, NLE Choppa, and DD Osama were set to join Durk on the tour, but there is no word on if they will still play the scheduled shows.
Lil Durk’s Health Scare
Durk was hospitalized last week after suffering severe dehydration and exhaustion. He made a statement to TMZ, saying, “My fans mean everything to me; you’re the reason why I do this.” Lil Durk continues, “I was looking forward to touching all of my European fans, performing this week(end), attending the ESPYs, and more but after performing and traveling daily, I’ve become severely dehydrated and advised by my doctors not to travel due to exhaustion. Once I get my full energy back, it’s back to business which I’m looking forward to. #StillHealing”
Aside from tours, Lil Durk also released his eighth studio album, “Almost Healed,” on May 26. The 21-track LP debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 and number one on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop album chart. It includes the hit single “All My Life” featuring J.Cole, which reached the number two spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
