Snoop Dogg Educates Boosie Badazz On Celebrating Independence Day

On Jul. 4, Boosie Badazz took to social media, exposing his level of knowledge regarding Independence Day. While the topic of Independence Day and its implications for members of the Black Community has been a subject of debate for some years now, it appears Boosie missed out on a great deal. And given his lack of knowledge, the artist elicited help in gaining clarity.

Social media users didn’t disappoint, showing that this world has a supply of people willing to extend their knowledge if asked. And even one prominent member of hip-hop joined in.

The Context of Boosie’s Inquiry

Boosie recently hopped on social media after appearing to be at a point of extreme confusion. According to a video Boosie posted on Instagram, the performer needed help understanding essential details about the true purpose of Independence Day Celebrations. He required anyone with the time to offer enlightenment to share their knowledge. But why, now?

Boosie noted he’s had a flood of people direct messaging him on why he shouldn’t celebrate. And he needed some real explanations. But he didn’t have to wait long.

Snoop Dogg Imparts Knowledge

One thing that fans understand about Snoop Dogg is that if a fellow brother is in need, he’s there to fill in, in whatever capacity he can. Additionally, the Dogg-prenuer always takes advantage of every opportunity to educate. If someone will listen, he’s more than willing to share. In true Snoop Dogg fashion, he answered Boosie’s call. This is a little of what Snoop had to share.

“It’s ya oppressors freedom celebration we weren’t free yet, and that’s why call me Nefew I’ll game u up. Juneteenth is our holiday of last free slaves.”

Perspectives Come a Dime a Dozen

Of course, there was other advice to follow Snoop Dogg’s. Some re-emphasized what Snoop said, others offered deeper historical context to Boosie, and others offered a more divergent perspective. One poster said: “All know we built this f****** country and fought in all they wars. We can celebrate the 4th if we want. This is our f****** country too! And our ancestors built it so strong…everybody wanna live here. F**** THAT, and stop letting entertainers tell y’all what to celebrate.”

What Did Boosie Do With the Info?

Boosie turned up with friends and family, celebrating as he saw fit. Now some will try to read into that and draw assumptions, which is nothing new. And that really isn’t an issue of consequence. But what matters most is that an individual sought knowledge and received it. How he interprets or uses that knowledge is his preference.

What Can We Learn From This?

Hopefully, what the masses will garner from this is that educating the masses is imperative. There are too many individuals with knowledge who are repressing it. And that means there are too many lacking critical knowledge. There’s no excuse for not sharing what we know willingly. Having access to vital knowledge should be a necessity, not a privilege. One of the most valuable assets people have in this world is knowledge. Sharing knowledge is also a principal tenant of hip-hop. as spreading knowledge equals empowerment.

Where’s MJ: Boosie’s Upcoming Movie Premiere

Where’s MJ Movie Premiere

Boosie Badazz is premiering his new film Where’s MJ this Sunday. The Louisiana rapper will be hosting two screenings at Clark Atlanta University, the general public showing is at 3 PM. There will also be a private showing at 7 PM. The film appears to have a Christmas tone combined with some hood hijinks. The film features many social media mainstays including Desi Banks, Grove Hero,  and Rob Kazi; along with hip-hop and reality TV legend Flava Flav and the late rapper Trouble. From the trailer, it looks like the movie will be an excellent addition to the growing resurgence of independently produced films from Black creators. Check out the trailer for Where’s MJ below:

Boosie’s Growing Film Company

This isn’t Boosie’s first time as a filmmaker. His website features several movies he’s produced and/or directed starting with My Struggle in 2021. Earlier this year, he released Water Boyz The Movie featuring the acting debut of Corey J. The young hip-hop artist hails from Mississippi with past appearances on CNN, The Ellen Show, and VICE’s Noisey alongside Young Thug. 2010 saw Boosie begin his acting career appearing in Ghetto Stories. It also featured Webbie, Bun B, Tyrin Turner, and Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander.

The Resurgence Of Independent Hood Films

Recently, there has been a resurgence in support for independent Black film creators. One platform this is most evident on is Tubi TV. Over the past few years, the streaming service has seen a rapid rise in original Black productions such as Crosses, Plug Love, McGraw Ave, and many more. However, this isn’t a new trend; many classic Black films that are held in high regard today were independently produced. Films such as 3 Strikes, Friday, The Wash, Boomerang, Civil Brand, Gang Of Roses, and the majority of John Singleton’s early work were all produced with small crews and budgets. The successes of films like these helped to legitimize the selling ability of Black creatives to the powerhouse studios. It’s great to see Boosie and his team carrying on this legacy for a new generation.

Boosie BadAzz Makes Claim About His Influence in Street Culture

Rapper Boosie BadAzz makes recent claim on VladTV that he has influenced street culture for people more than any other rapper in his genre.

Boosie’s Claim

Boosie BadAzz has been in the music business for more than two decades and has worked with numerous artists within and outside of his genre. He’s been around the likes of his state’s (Louisiana) natives such as Master P and No Limit Records and Baby and Cash Money Records. His natives have had a huge influence in rap and hip hop culture. However, he claims to be more influential that the others and explained the differences between the love people give rappers.

“Ain’t nobody ever in rap history never raised more street n-ggas than me,”

“I done been around tons of rappers, they fans like, ‘I love you, I love you.’ Don’t none of them fans come up to them and say, ‘N-gga, you raised me.’ It’s a difference.

He has good confidence in his influence. He has also claimed that he is loved by every generation and that he loves when people give him his flowers despite him not typically getting them.

Song Inspired By Boosie

Boosie has made quite an impact on a rapper in particular that has given him his flowers. Kodak Black. He wrote a song about him titled “Boosie Too.” This song came out last year on one of his mixtapes. It pays homage to Boosie and even has verses where he compares the likeness of his actions to him. He is very proud that Boosie has had an influence on his style and life as a rapper. Kodak’s example of homage describes the type of love Boosie referred to within his interview. The difference between I love you and like your music compared to I grew up off of your music and you raised me.

A Joint Album & More For Boosie Badazz and T.I.

According to Boosie Badazz, he and T.I. have big plans for the future. They plan to work together on a new joint album and television show.

Boosie Badazz recently appeared on B High TV radio, where he dropped the news. The host asked Boosie about working with Yung L.A. on “36 Oz”. Yung L.A. got his break after signing to Grand Hustle Records. Naturally, one of the founders of Grand Hustle came up.

“Me and T.I. got an album on the way,” Boosie Badazz claimed.

Boosie decided to give out that information freely. The joint album between these two southern rappers is definitely a project to look out for. Boosie Badazz hints that the album is already in progress. “We sendin’ ’em back and forth, and we gonna get it in for the last rodeo and knock out our last five,” Boosie explained.

This also wouldn’t be the first time T.I. and Boosie have worked together on music. A joint album was most likely always in the air, and now it will finally become a reality.

A Reality Show For The South

The joint album is not the only project in the works. Boosie Badazz and T.I. have decided to put out a reality show. Their sons, King Harris and Tootie Raww will be the event’s focus. According to Boosie, the reality show will be called “Raw Ass Kids.”

King Harris and Tootie Raww have decided to follow in their fathers’ footsteps in more than one instance. Both kids are rappers but unfortunately, they have also been arrested. The arrests of T.I. and Boosie Badazz then made the Hip-Hop news circuit. These topics have a high chance of coming up in the show. “Raw Ass Kids” seems interesting, but for now, the show is only in the development phase.

T.I. and King have been on reality television before. T.I even had his entire family on “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle.” King also got a considerable following from the show after becoming a fan favorite.

T.I. and King have prominent personalities, making them perfect for a reality show. Also, Boosie will fit right in with the two of them, and if Tootie Raww is anything like his father, then the entertainment factor will not be lacking.

Boosie Badazz Performed For Police After Getting Pulled Over

Police pulled Boosie Badazz over again for speeding, but he did something nobody expected this time. Instead of yelling and screaming at the police like before, he began a surprise performance. The incident happened on Friday in Fulton County.

Police pulled Boosie Badazz over for evidently going over 73 miles an hour in a 53-mile-an-hour zone. Deputy Chief of Fairburn told TMZ that after the stop, police said they could smell weed, which prompted a car search. Something that Boosie Badazz is once again no stranger to. A few months ago, July 12, 2022, to be exact, the rapper was pulled over by police and had his car searched then as well.

This time, however, Badazz, in incredible frustration with the situation, did what anyone else would do—start rapping. He began performing his hit song “Set It Off,” a fitting piece since it starts with the rapper expressing his annoyance.

In the video, Badazz starts talking with a cop and offers him a new job. He even waves money around in the cop’s face. Of course, this was no small change. According to Badazz, though, this measly amount of 30 thousand dollars is “chump change. The money flying around or the employment benefits under Boosie’s wing did not excite the cop. Check out the full video below.

The Fallout of Boosie’s Performance

During the car search, however, the cops are said to have found a small amount of weed. Luckily though, they did not cite Badazz for it. Unfortunately, the Louisiana native would not get away completely free as the cops cited him for speeding and littering. At least with the 30 thousand dollars that he was waving around, he can quickly pay off those citations. Badazz expressed his thoughts on his latest run-in with the police, stating it is because he is “a successful black man today.”

Boosie Badazz Harassment Claims Shut Down by Cops

Boosie Badazz claims the reason that he was pulled over and handcuffed by the police is because he is famous. The cops in Georgia, where the incident took place, claim this is false. Badazz was riding shotgun in a black Cadillac SUV when police pulled the car over. The reason cops pulled the rapper over was because the car had heavy window tint and concealed tags. During the traffic stop, however, the cops handcuffed Badazz and this sent the rapper off on a huge rant about cops. In the rant, Boosie Badazz talks about how he is being targeted by the cops for his celebrity status. TMZ obtained the entire rant video and was told that the cops were intending to search the car. You can watch the entire video below.

The Outcome of Boosie Badazz Dealing With Cops & Fame

Obviously, this is not the first time that a celebrity has made such accusations. In this case, the police officers claimed to smell marijuana and put the cuffs on the rapper for police protection. According to Fairburn Police Department Deputy Chief Anthony Bazydlo, it is common for cops to use handcuffs when searching a car. Bazydlo says that Badazz’s claims are false and his celebrity status or past criminal history had nothing to do with the stop. The cop’s main reason for the stop was for the temporary license plate. Additionally, the license plate was obstructed and could not be checked. The cop’s search turned up a large bag of cash and a bag of weed. The driver of the Cadillac SUV, De’Shun Lawrence claimed ownership of the pot. Lawrence was cited and Badazz was released.

This is not the first time that TMZ has caught up to Badazz. Recently they also got footage of him getting in the face of a man outside a hotel. This incident was completely different from this as Badazz was defending a hotel employee who was being berated by the man.

Boosie Badazz Hurls Verbal Tirade at Police, “Man This Is Harassment”

According to IHeart, on Tuesday, July 12th, a traffic stop turned into much more for Boosie Badazz and a driver.

 What Went Down In Georgia

Boosie and a fellow driver were pulled over in Georgia due to window tint and hidden tags. Reportedly when the police walked up, they smelled cannabis. This prompted them to search, wherein they found a bag of weed and some cash. After this, they put both in cuffs, having them wait.

Things went south quickly. There is a song entitled the Devil Went Down to Georgia. Today the world knows Boosie went down to Georgia, was pulled over, and some interesting things took place.

Boosie vs. The Police

The artist was anything other than patient with the waiting process. It wasn’t long before the artist began to threaten the officers. His tirade began with promises to sue the police. In his words,

“I gotta go to y’all superior and file charges man this is harassment.”

But the verbal tirade did not end there.

Boosie Had a Lot More to Say

It was apparent Boosie wasn’t letting things go at the threats. He went from threatening to giving the officers a breakdown of his unfortunate history with the police and legal system. But, no matter what he was spilling, the officers weren’t budging, and his compadre wasn’t saying a word. So Boosie continued.

He Won’t Quit

Given the litany of responses pouring forth, Boosie was feeling the pressure. The next item on his agenda was making proclamations of violence if the incident ended in arrest. The artist went on to say,

“I’m a spit on every f****** in that b***h. I’m a make you charge me. I’m a show you how I get down when I get locked up.”

Digging a Deep Dark Hole

One would think he had said more than enough. But once he got going, there was no stopping him. He took things to a whole other place. Boosie’s following string of statements was dangerously close to bribery. He went even as far as trying to offer the officer some favors, possibly in exchange for his release. According to Boosie, he had a harem of women at his house, ready to please the men if need be.

“I got like 35 hoes sucking dick at my house right now. If anybody wants their dick sucked,”

After that, no one will deny that Boosie had gone to a place he couldn’t come back from.

Reflection Time

Today’s a new day to look back and reflect. Whatever the artist was feeling that day came out in his endless ravings. He was all over the place. Unfortunately, the exchange was caught on video. Not sure if the officers pitied Boosie, were frustrated, or didn’t care. They eventually let both go giving Boosie and the driver two citations.

Tuesday was a tough day for Boosie indeed. Today is perhaps an even tougher one with him having to rewatch and live down everything he said. Maybe it’s not so tough and it is simply another day in the life of Boosie.

Boosie Badazz Confronts Man at Hotel After He Was Seen Being Rude To a Woman

Boosie Badazz confronted a man outside a hotel and claimed the man was being disrespectful towards a female staff member. The rapper has never been one to hold his tongue and proved this once again when he got in the man’s face and began to shout loudly. Just so the man knew that the way he was talking to the female staff member upset the Louisiana native.

Boosie heard the man talking to a female staff member in an unpleasant tone and was not having it. In a video shot outside the hotel, though the exact location is unknown, Boosie jumps into action almost immediately. In the video, posted by Justin Whitehead, Boosie tells the man “You ain’t gonna talk to her like that. I will beat your azz!! You ain’t gonna talk to no women like that.”

As soon as Boosie Badazz is involved the air in the situation seems to shift drastically. The man who supposedly was being unpleasant towards the female staff member is suddenly quiet. The video shows Boosie surrounded by hotel employees trying to deescalate the situation. The woman who was supposedly being disrespected is also trying to calm the rapper down. People have pointed out the man in the black shirt, in the video, who seems to be stretching like getting ready for something to happen.

Thankfully the issue was resolved without anyone getting hurt, but as soon as the video popped up online, Boosie thought he should explain himself.

Boosie Badazz’s Explanation

“The reason I told that man that because he backed a woman down until she could do nothing,” Boosie said in a tweet. “He kept approaching her after she said sorry. Then he said no you go apologize to my wife too!! he was doing the most don’t let that video fool u.”

Boosie claims that the man kept pressing the woman even after she apologized, so he decided to step up. Read more stories on Boosie Badazz at FM Hip-Hop.

Boosie Badazz Wants Smoke With Son’s Ex Who Lied About Paternity

Boosie Badazz jumped for joy after discovering that he’s not a grandfather to his son’s ex-girlfriend’s child. However, this isn’t the rapper’s first time voicing his distaste for someone.

Back in 2021, he blasted Lil Nas X after the “Industry Baby” musician said he’d perform naked during his performance at the 2021 MTV Music Video Awards. As time passed, their beef also escalated. After Lil Nas X trolled Badazz by saying they have a song together, the Goat Talk 3 artist went off!

His extremely harsh words then went a little something like this:

“…#uhateyourself I WOULD TOO IF I WAS YOU LOL NASx IF YOU #commitsuicide YOU WOULD DO THIS WORLD A HUGE FAVOR. NOBODY WANTS U HERE.”

After the backlash, you’d think he’d then show some kind of remorse. Yet, instead, Boosie doubled down on his stance.

Last November, the artist hopped on live to unveil that some people agree with his statement. Oblivious that words really do hurt, the Baton Rouge musician then said:

“Eight different people came up to me and told me,’ Boosie Badazz, you the voice I ain’t got bruh. Eight different people told me, ‘Man, don’t let nobody silence you, bruh. You all we got, bruh.'”

Boosie’s IG Live

On Saturday, the artist also went on Instagram Live to spread the great news about not being a grandfather. Boosie Badazz then said in the same breath that he wanted to get revenge on his son’s ex-girlfriend’s fabrications.

Screaming gleefully, he also says

“Just found out that ain’t my son’s baby!” I’m not a grandpa! Oh lord! They kidnapped somebody’s baby and brought it down there like it was my grandchild. You going down, baby! Errybody coming’ to the club tonight. I’m giving everybody free drinks. I ain’t no fucking’ grandpa! […] Oh, they going’ down!”

Boosie Badazz then continues,

“Oh, what the fuck!? Why would you do that!? The mom and everybody — oh lord. This is the conspiracy for the ages. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Whooo! Great day. And where the company at who made the fake birth certificate? Where’s the company? I want your company!”

Boosie Badazz’s claims were then supported by a copy of the DNA test and a fake birth certificate.

The artist also wrote in the picture’s caption:

“The things these women do these days is CRAZY. my son has had the most stressful year of his life because of this situation. ok yall wanna do this too my son bet n the moma of the daughter the worst. Last pic is real mother n father.”
