DaBaby Says He Slept With Megan Thee Stallion In Latest Track ‘Boogeyman’

North Carolina rapper DaBaby reportedly said he slept with Texas rapper Megan Thee Stallion in his new track “Boogeyman.”

According to Newsweek, DaBaby made the bold claims in a line of the new song, which dropped on Sept. 23–the same day as his new album Baby on Baby 2. In the beginning of “Boogeyman,” the rapper said he slept with Megan several times, days before Canadian singer Tory Lanez allegedly shot her.

“The day before she said that Tory Lanez shot her, I was f***in on Megan Thee Stallion,” he rapped immediately after calling her childish.

The Houston hottie accused Tory of shooting her in the foot back in 2020. She also accused him of telling her to “dance b***h” while doing so. Later that year, authorities charged Tory and he pleaded not guilty. His criminal trial was initially supposed to take place in September 2022, but officials scheduled it for later in the year.

DaBaby continued, warning that his opposition would have to “handle me” if they started “poking the bear.”

The 30-year-old previously worked with him on her 2019 hit “Cash S**t” and her 2020 hit “Cry Baby.” DaBaby also featured Megan as a guest artist on his 2020 song “Nasty.” However, their camaraderie seems to have died down completely since then.

Baby on Baby 2 arrived just weeks after his recent New Orleans concert was reportedly canceled due to low ticket sales. He was going to perform at Smoothie King Center in September, alongside guests NoCap and Showtek. However, Ticketmaster revealed that fans only bought a small number of seats. The Smoothie King center reportedly has a capacity of 14,000 people.

Megan has not publicly responded to DaBaby’s claims. On a lighter note, she will be performing and hosting a Saturday Night Live episode in October.

The State Of Georgia Complains To Forfeit Young Thug’s Belongings

Young Thug has already spent a reasonable amount of time in custody. He initially went under arrest based on the questionable RICO case, which applies to YSL artists’ song lyrics as allegedly credible evidence.

The court also denied bond to Young Thug on multiple occasions. His inability to fulfill commitments resulted in more problems, such as A-1 Concert Entertainment suing the artist for missing out on the “Young Thug and Friends” music festival.

All of the above was insufficient for the state of Georgia’s judicial branch to reverse to third-world standards. You know, the ones supporting the usage of a product of artistic expression as a piece of reasonable evidence. The new questionable reports now come in.

According to AllHipHop, the state seized Young Thug’s belongings and now wants to forfeit them. The belongings at least include almost $150k in cash and 87 pieces of jewelry. There also was such significant evidence as “a green…sweatshirt.”

Maybe law enforcement should also bring up extremism charges. Since the shirt has “the phrase ‘SLIME OVER S#### Make America Slime Again.'”

Why Forfeiting Young Thug’s Property?

The reason why the authorities want to forfeit Thug’s property remains unclear. The Rafaello & Company jewelry claims to own nine chains from the artist’s apartment, which he allegedly never gave back.

However, even the law enforcement declares that “[out] of the nine jewelry pieces which Rafaello & Company Inc. asserts to own…only four pieces resemble any of the…jewelry seized. The other five pieces…do not resemble any of the pieces of jewelry seized.” The reasoning behind seizing the rest of the property, apart from 9 chains, is also unclear.

Thug’s lawyer, Brian Steel, also seems confused by the state’s actions. It makes sense since one can easily find them unconstitutional.

“Forfeiture of the seized property is barred by the prohibition against excessive fines set forth in the Eighth Amendment,” Steel explained. “The property was either purchased in lawful arms length transactions…or the items were gifted to Claimant by persons who have untainted funds.”

While the situation with Young Thug’s property remains unclear, the artist himself doesn’t seem to get out of jail anytime soon.

Thug’s incarceration is very controversial due to a multitude of reasons. Questionable lyrics-evidence, and allegedly terrible jail conditions. Multiple bond denials eventually brought more civil court cases to the artist–and now the questionable property seizure, which even the Georgian police finds troublesome to forfeit.

Hopefully, this sorrowful situation will soon end for Young Thug, and the overall problem of using lyrics as evidence will also end.

Drake Fires Back At Music Critic Anthony Fantano Over Leaking Fake DMs

Grammy Award-winning rapper Drake recently fired back at music critic Anthony Fantano. He fired back because Anthony allegedly leaked fake DMs.

Anthony Fantano Leaks Allegedly Fake DMs From Drizzy

“Anthony! It’s Drizzy,” the alleged fake message said. The YouTuber recited it in his latest video that dropped on Sept. 15. “I know we don’t really see eye-to-eye about music and that you are not the biggest fan of most of my albums (thanks for the kind words on Take Care and If You’re Reading This tho). But it is what it is, you know. Can always hope you’ll like the next one! But I’m not messaging you about your videos. I’m actually messaging you cause I found a really great vegan cookie recipe I’d love you to try.”

The following message included instructions on how to make vegan cookies, including the proper ingredients.

“I’d really appreciate it if you could give this a spin and let me know if it’s worth trying myself! Appreciate you! Drizzy out!” the end of the message said.

Drake Responds To Anthony

A few hours after Anthony released the video, Drake clapped back via Instagram stories. There, the Honestly Nevermind rapper shared the allegedly real DMs he sent to the music critic. The messages were reportedly in reference to Anthony’s rating system for his album reviews.

“Your existence is a light 1. And the 1 is cause your alive. And cause you somehow wifed a black girl. I’m feeling a light to decent 1 on your existence.”

Anthony Returns With Another Shady Response

After Drake’s response, Anthony took to Instagram Live to take shots at the six god. He called Drizzy “salty,” “in his feelings” and “obssessed” for knowing his rating system. The music critic even threw jabs the musician for allegedly using a ghostwriter.

“Drake was in his feelings, as he does tend to be, because that is his nature, that is his vibe, that is his style, that’s his whole thing. Being in his feelings, that’s his brand, you could say…He was in his feelings Wednesday night, very late into the evening…It was a salty little DM, it was quite sad and unfortunate…A couple of things were running through my head…One: ‘Why is Drake messaging me? I’m not 18 years of age. That’s kinda weird.’ Second thing I was thinking: ‘This man is familiar enough with me to know my rating system. Seems a little odd, seems a little obsessed.’…The other thing that I was thinking is that, why did he say the ‘light one’ thing twice?…I don’t know why he said that weak a*s line two times. It also made me think, this is why he has ghostwriters.”

Saweetie Speaks On Past Relationship With Quavo

Saweetie made an appearance on Yung Miami’s podcast Caresha Please, opening up on her relationship with ex Quavo. The Icy Girl’s dating life has been a major topic of discussion since she entered the rap game. She’s been linked with everyone from Lil Baby to Justin Combs.

However, fans can’t seem to stop circling back to Saweetie’s two year relationship with Quavo. The “My Type” rapper and the Migos star split last year over what she called a “betrayal.” No specifics about the breakup have been revealed, but Saweetie did address the issue on Caresha Please.

Yung Miami grilled Saweetie over rumors that the “Hotel Lobby” rapper cheated on her, fracturing the relationship. However, the Sacremento native didn’t give a direct response. “I think the past is the past and I’ve moved on since then,” she said while making a face. The City Girl followed up by asking whether or not the relationship was toxic. “I think we had a lot of growing pains together,” Saweetie replied.

As the podcast continued, Yung Miami touched on Saweetie’s memorable moments with Quavo. Saweetie then shared her thoughts on where the relationship may have been heading.

“I thought we was gon’ spend the rest of our lives together,” the “Best Friend” artist said. “With him, I knew it was the one. It was different.”

Yung Miami couldn’t help but address the fallout of the breakup when Quavo repossessed Saweetie’s car. The rapper simply laughed and told the host that she enjoyed the luxury lifestyle, but she would have to get her next car herself.

Saweetie since Quavo

Since her breakup in 2021, Saweetie has been spotted with many male celebrities. Earlier this year, fans speculated that she was back with her ex Keith Powers after the two were spotted at a friend’s party. Rumors also circulated that she was seeing Lil Baby after he reportedly treated her to a shopping spree.

600 Breezy Mourns the Loss of His Girlfriend Due To Suicide

600 Breezy has been on a roll with the release of new music. Sadly, today the drill rapper shared via social media that his girlfriend, Raven Jackson, has died of suicide.

A post shared by Six-O-Breezo (@600breezy)

Not much of the couples’ life together has been available to the public. However, 600 Breezy’s and his girlfriend’s businesses flourished independently. 600 took to Instagram to share Jackson’s tragic loss and what seems to be her last words. In a heartbreaking final plea, Jackson revealed her hopelessness in life itself and her inability to continue to hide them any longer.

The rumors claim she may have jumped from a bridge. These allegations may be supported by her message to Breezy, “It’s 5pm here, this bridge is actually nice. I wish we would’ve came here together.”

“The Best 2 years of my life……”

The two had been dating for 2 years. During that time, both excelled in perspective business ventures. Jackson founded Go cRAEzy Fitness which offered luxury fitness gear, gym essentials, and training. She also found the “Real Talk With Raven” community, where she emphasized and advocated for “mental health and awareness while providing a safe, inviting, and nurturing space to facilitate growth and awareness.”

600 Breezy, on the other hand, is a Chicago rapper amongst the long list of drill rappers. He is known to have been a close associate of the late King Von. Breezy recently released his “Retaliation” project with several singles and videos that generated hundreds of thousands of streams.

600 Breezy, Mental Health, And Depression

Per the messages 600 Breezy shared from his late girlfriend, she had been suffering long before she took action. Like many who have fallen victim to the clinically diagnosed disease, she felt disconnected. Though she had achieved what many wouldn’t succeed in a lifetime, she couldn’t bare to live with misdiagnosis and stress.

Mental illness has taken the lives of many public figures. While this is a mournful topic, the public must address it and take it seriously in the future.

Kanye West Reveals Some of his Favorite Music Via Flurry Of Instagram Posts

In a highly hectic series of recent Instagram posts, this Chicago legend has given props to his peers and criticism to Adidas.

Kanye West‘s Instagram feed has been a mix of strange and fascinating for the past couple of weeks. The 45-year-old has been using the social media app to personally call out some of the people in his life, specifically the Adidas staff.

Kanye’s Calm Before the Storm

The more positive term began with an interview with Los Angeles Rams defensive tackler Aaron Donald. In the interview, West asks the athlete what exactly he’s looking for in a shoe. “Yeezy Cleats coming soon” he typed in the caption. This is yet another big fashion venture for the already accomplished mogul. While Yeezy’s have seen a massive amount of success, athletic wear would be a first for Kanye.

Kanye then proceeded to upload a clip of Celtics player Jaylen Brown and an unknown woman playing billiards with the post captioned: “pool sharks.”

Of course, this streak of peacefulness didn’t last for too long.

“Just in case Instagram never lets me post again I need everyone to know one last thing…. Black hats matter,” he typed in the following post. He continued this cryptic rant in the caption, “In case it’s not clear I’m not working with Daniel Son Everybody quit since he been here Putting weaklings in positions of artificial power demoralizes the whole team I guess everyone will just blame Kasper adidas when I leave I’m still going to take my 15% on the fake 350s you gonna run.”

The Kanye/ Adidas Conflict

The Yeezus” rapper swiftly continued to post about his fashion-related ideas including new slides and pants. He then put up a screenshot of a comment left on one of those posts from IG user Deliberatew. The comment shed some light on the need for homeless people to have a backpack with features that can help their dire situation. Apparently, he loved the idea as he co-signed the comment in his caption. “Love this thinking”

If you’re a fan of Kanye, you may have already been following his fiery feud with Adidas. The “Mixed Personalities” artist screenshot a fans story, calling for Ye to release a  list of official shoe colorways so buyers can avoid fakes.

A post shared by ye (@kanyewest)

“Ye we need the list of unapproved YEEZY’s we the REAL YEEZY ARMY & we ain’t buying colorways designed by [clown emoji]” the post reads. Clearly, Kanye isn’t interested in patching things up with the global corporation just yet.

“The fact adi felt they could color my shoes and name them without my approval is really wild” he began in the caption. “But I promise everyone adidas is not as wild as me I really really care about building something that changes the world and something I can leave to my kids They tried to buy me out for 1 billion dollars My royalties next year are 500 million dollars alone Daniel Cherry Pop makes 2 million a year Yeezy’s are 68 percent of adidas on line sales You guys thought cause DCP Daniel Cherry Pop went to Warden that he could politely give me a billion dollars to hand everything I built over.”

What’s in Rotation

Amidst all the corporate drama, Ye touched on more lighthearted matters. He revealed his favorite comedians of all time in a long list. “Me Mitch Hedberg Anthony Jeselnik Louis CK Jerrod Carmichael Deray JP Smooth Mase Elon Musk 50 Justin LaBoy GLC Eddie Murphy Sakiya Sandifer Chris Rock Larry David Kevin Hart (In Jumanji) and of course King David Dave Chapelle.”

In addition to this, Kanye posted some of his favorite drops in the music world. Namely, “Church Girl” by Beyonce and “God Did” with DJ Khaled and Rick Ross got some props. In a stunning statement, Kanye deemed “Essence” by Wizkid and Tems the “best song in the history of music to date.”

Kanye is never one to dash grudges. After posting about his playlist, Ye subsequently began posting the names and faces of high-ranking Adidas employees. Jing Ulrich, Guenter Weigl, Thomas Rabe, Bodo Uebber, and Micheal Storl are only a few of the 16 staff posted by Kanye along with a mysterious caption. “Sending super positive love and good energy :)))” he typed under senior Vice President of global sports marketing Guenter Weigl. “Sooooo much positivity” he captioned with a photo of chief executive officer Sawiris. It’s unknown what exactly Ye’s motive is for posting the long string of employee photos.

50 Cent May Have Squashed Longstanding Beef With Floyd Mayweather

It appears that 50 Cent has decided to end his long feud with Floyd Mayweather. After years of beefing both on and offline, the rapper posted a picture on Instagram which seems to suggest that the two have made up.

50’s post features a photo of Floyd with the “Confirmed Tycoon” stamp over the picture. “Yeah Champ said he gonna pull on me for Tycoon so you know we gonna go crazy. Big bags coming out TMT floydmayweather BOOM,” the caption read.

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by 50 Cent (@50cent)

50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather have fired shots at one another on social media and in interviews for years. The beef reached new heights in February when 50 said that he would be open to a boxing match with Floyd. The rapper’s only concern was being able to make weight.

“I’d fight Floyd if I could get down there. Or he could just let me not have to get down to 150. I could make about 180. He walking around 150, maybe 147,” 50 said. As for “Pretty Boy” Floyd, he said that he would do the fight regardless of weight class.

“If [50 Cent] wants to lace up at the end of the year we can do an exhibition then. I don’t care about weight class with any of these guys. The Paul brothers will make great money with the events, but with 50 Cent it has to be Winner Takes All,” Floyd said on social media.

The two are expected to link up next weekend at 50’s new Tycoon Comedy Music Festival in Houston. The festival will take place at the Toyota Center from August 25-28. The lineup consists of well-known comedians such as B-Simone, DC Youngfly, Karlous Miller and Michael Blackson.

The background of 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather’s beef

There isn’t a definite reason for the feud between 50 and Floyd. In 2014, the rapper went viral when he bet $750,000 that Mayweather couldn’t read a Harry Potter book. The incident led to shots between the entertainers, who were once close friends.

The two appeared to bury the hatchet in 2015. However, by 2018 they were beefing once again. Mayweather has even stated that even he doesn’t know how the feud started.

“We could have stayed friends,” the boxer said on Drink Champs in 2020. “I never asked him to be a part of G-Unit. I just thought we had a genuine friendship. That’s what I thought. It is what it is.”

Mystikal Arrested On Rape, Domestic Violence Charges

Rapper Mystikal was arrested Sunday on charges of rape and domestic abuse. The New Orleans native also faces charges of false imprisonment and property damage. According to the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, no bond has been set for Mystikal. He also hasn’t appeared before a judge.

Police responded to a hospital call regarding a sexual assault late Saturday night. After interviewing the victim, Mystikal was identified as a suspect and arrested on Sunday. The victim also reportedly sustained minor injuries from the assault. A spokesperson from the Sheriff’s Office gave a statement regarding the investigation.

“He was arrested and booked into the Ascension Parish jail,” Donovan Jackson said. “This is an ongoing investigation. Further details may be limited at this time.”

Mystikal’s reps declined to comment. However, this isn’t the first time the Grammy-nominated artist has faced charges of sexual misconduct.

Mystikal’s History With The Law

In 2017, the rapper was indicted on rape and kidnapping charges. He spent 18 months behind bars before being released on a $3 million bond. According to the Associated Press, the charges were dropped by the Caddo Parish District Attorney after a second grand jury declined to bring an indictment.

Mystikal served a six-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to sexual battery in 2003. The rapper allegedly forced his then-hairstylist to perform sexual acts on him and two bodyguards. The hairstylist also allegedly cashed thousands of dollars worth of unauthorized checks from Mystikal’s account. As a result of his conviction, the rapper is a registered sex offender.

He emerged on the music scene in the ’90s with his hit track “Here I Go” before joining Master P’s No Limit Records in 1996. He then went on to produce hit songs such as “Shake Ya A**” and “Danger (Been So Long),” earning a 2001 Grammy nomination.

Mystikal would go on to earn two more Grammy nods in 2003, one for Best Rap Album and another for Best Male Rap Solo Performance.
