Afroman’s Home Invasion Featured In His Music Videos

The classic “Because I Got High” rapper has done it again. Afroman has molded his personal experience and musical talent into two new songs.

“Will You Help Me Repair My Door” and “Lemon-Pound Cake” features Ohio’s Adams County Sheriff’s department which is going viral via TikTok.

In August of 2022, Joseph Foreman, also known as Afroman, was away in Chicago when the Adams County Sheriff’s department raided the rapper’s property. The sheriff’s department had a search warrant that a local judge signed for drug trafficking and kidnapping.

Foreman tells VICE he can understand drug trafficking, but has no idea about the kidnapping charges, “I guess they heard I was trafficking drugs. I don’t know where the kidnapping charges came from. And what they wanted to do was kill me and then make up whatever they wanted to say.”

During this invasion, deputies are seen breaking down doors, barging in with AR-15 rifles, and rummaging through his personal belongings. His children were home during this raid and found that a portion of his hard-earned money from a gig was missing.

The end result of the raid left not only left Afroman appalled but questionable, “Why are you stealing my money?” he asks, adding, “You represent the law and it’s funny. You’re stealing my legal-worked-hard-everyday-paid-taxes money.”

In Afroman’s new release, “Will You Help Me Repair My Door”, officers are seen ransacking the property and taking cash. The search goes beyond the extent of moving into another room full of CDs.

The Adams County Sheriff dept. has a warrant solely for narcotics and kidnapping, yet they seized the room of CDs.

“ Any kidnapping victims inside my CDs,” he tells VICE.

The Raided Result

Police confiscated a jar of CBD flower, some roaches, and a vape pen. They also took about $5,600 in cash from one of Foreman’s suit pockets which was a payment for a past gig.

According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, reports Foreman’s money is returned but is short $400. Under this circumstance, the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation will be handling the issue of the missing cash.

As the singer awaits the return of his belonging there are no charges filed toward Foreman or the sheriff’s department.

The narcotics found and seized are currently being tested. In Ohio, the law indicates that medical cannabis is legal, but only in small amounts for adult-use only.

The cannabis must be less than 100 grams or the penalty is a fine of US $150 according to the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws.

Consequently, Foreman also received backlash from this invasion.

I lost gigs because of the kidnapping charge written on the warrant. People started looking at me different.”

Foreman is seen as convicted by the sheriff’s dept. and amongst many others. Clubs began turning away the singer, defaming him for his career and financial stability.

Afroman tells VICE, on the day of the raid he asked the head officer if they were going to help him pay for his door to be repaired. The cop replies “ We’re not required to fix your door. That’s not what we do.”

Upcoming Projects

Above all, Afroman has milestones in his future and it begins with these two new hit songs.

“Lemon Pound Cake” shows the surveillance footage of police disconnecting his own security cameras and more.

Moreover, last month he did announce his future vision of running for presidential candidacy in 2024. His plan is to legalize recreational cannabis in all states.

A TMZ  report says Foreman has yet to complete his Federal Election Commission paperwork, as an independent runner.

On Afroman’s Instagram, his campaign manager Jason Savage posted and said in a statement, “My Fellow Americans, There comes a time in the course of human events when change must be affected. That time is now. Americans are suffering, and the status quo is no longer acceptable.”

Rapper PnB Rock Dead After Being Robbed And Shot In L.A. Restaurant

Devastating news has taken over the internet! Rakim Hasheem Allen, better known by his stage name PnB Rock, was robbed, shot, and killed in front of his girlfriend, Stephanie Sibounheuang Monday afternoon in a Los Angeles restaurant called Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffles. He was 30 years old.

A panic ensued among employees as the “Selfish” rapper lay on the floor fighting for his life, according to TMZ.

PnB Rock Posted Himself Wearing Diamond Chains; Did It Make Him A Target?

Before the shooting, the “Fleek” rapper posted a video of himself in the car with Stephanie wearing several diamond and silver chains. Capt. Kelly Muniz of the Los Angeles Police Department told the LA Times that the suspect posed a gun threat and requested items from the victim. Unfortunately,  according to law enforcement sources, the rapper’s jewelry was targeted.

“He shot the victim and ran out the side door to a getaway car and then fled the parking lot,” Muniz reportedly said.

In addition, a graphic video circulating the internet shows a group of spectators and an employee encircling the rapper lying in a pool of blood. He was twitching and desperately struggling for his life. Rock seemed to have sustained severe injuries based on his lost blood. Sadly, the 30-year-old victim was rushed to a nearby hospital around 1:59 p.m., where he was pronounced dead.

According to Muniz’s remarks, the South Bureau of Homicide and many other detectives will investigate the incident.

Rock’s Girlfriend Allegedly Exposed Their Location

It’s been revealed in the latest issue of People that shortly before the shooting, Rock’s girlfriend uploaded a video of her meal. In addition, she allegedly tagged it with their location in a since-deleted Instagram Story.

Law enforcement sources received a call at 1:23 p.m. reporting a shooting victim at the Inglewood location. According to KTLA and a source connected to the restaurant, PnB was the only target of the attack. However, the suspect has not been identified.

Per People, police sources told The Los Angeles Times that they are examining surveillance footage from the restaurant and nearby businesses to identify the suspect.

Moreover, a spike in armed robberies on streets and homes across Los Angeles during which thieves target victims for their luxury watches, jewelry, and handbags has prompted his death.

Twitter Users Blame His Girlfriend

Twitter users have expressed concern about PnB’s condition in the hospital before his death and are upset about this news. However, many have blamed his girlfriend for the shooting taking place Monday. Take a look below!

It Never Ends

What a heartbreaking story! There is no end to the killing of rappers and people in general.

The tragic incident that occurred to this man, in which he was taken away from his family, is unfortunate. What can be done to rectify this situation? Condolences and prayers are extended to his girlfriend, family, and friends during this difficult time. Rest in peace, PnB Rock.

Boosie Badazz Performed For Police After Getting Pulled Over

Police pulled Boosie Badazz over again for speeding, but he did something nobody expected this time. Instead of yelling and screaming at the police like before, he began a surprise performance. The incident happened on Friday in Fulton County.

Police pulled Boosie Badazz over for evidently going over 73 miles an hour in a 53-mile-an-hour zone. Deputy Chief of Fairburn told TMZ that after the stop, police said they could smell weed, which prompted a car search. Something that Boosie Badazz is once again no stranger to. A few months ago, July 12, 2022, to be exact, the rapper was pulled over by police and had his car searched then as well.

This time, however, Badazz, in incredible frustration with the situation, did what anyone else would do—start rapping. He began performing his hit song “Set It Off,” a fitting piece since it starts with the rapper expressing his annoyance.

In the video, Badazz starts talking with a cop and offers him a new job. He even waves money around in the cop’s face. Of course, this was no small change. According to Badazz, though, this measly amount of 30 thousand dollars is “chump change. The money flying around or the employment benefits under Boosie’s wing did not excite the cop. Check out the full video below.

The Fallout of Boosie’s Performance

During the car search, however, the cops are said to have found a small amount of weed. Luckily though, they did not cite Badazz for it. Unfortunately, the Louisiana native would not get away completely free as the cops cited him for speeding and littering. At least with the 30 thousand dollars that he was waving around, he can quickly pay off those citations. Badazz expressed his thoughts on his latest run-in with the police, stating it is because he is “a successful black man today.”

Rae Sremmurd’s Slim Jxmmi Arrested at LAX

Slim Jxmmi appears to be in trouble with the law (again). Customs and Border Patrol arrested the rapper after discovering he had an outstanding arrest warrant. The search for his arrest transpires from Jxmmi’s warrant in Georgia. Previous arrests for possession and sale of marijuana were against him.

According to TMZ, Georgia authorities have obtained a judge to authorize extradition from L.A. to Georgia. The Rae Sremmurd member could have up to 30 years in prison, which is Georgia’s maximum sentence. Currently, he’s in an L.A. jail without any bail. After flying in from Canada, the rapper ended up in unfortunate events.

Slim Jxmmi’s lawyer, Steve Sadow, argues that the rapper’s warrant was wrongly issued due to miscommunication. He said:

“Nearly two years ago, Aaquil entered a plea to a marijuana offense in Cobb County, Georgia.”

As a result, they placed him on probation.

“In early June 2022, the mother of his child filed an untruthful complaint with the Cobb County Police Department, which led to an arrest warrant being issued.”

After explaining that Aaquil was not arrested on that warrant, he said a Cobb County Magistrate Judge held a hearing on July 20. They dismissed the warrant.

The Cobb County Probation Office was unaware of the dismissal of the arrest warrant and therefore did not withdraw the probation violation warrant.

Police arrested Slim Jxmmi on a probation violation warrant after arriving at the L.A. airport from Canada. They expect that they will withdraw the warrant in the next day or so, leading to Aaquil’s release.

Just yesterday, Rae Sremmurd made a strong comeback in the hip-hop game with their Flo Milli-assisted track, “Community Dick.” This record will be one of many on their upcoming project, “SREMM4LIFE.”

In February, Jxmmi had a misdemeanor battery charge against him. That January, Jxmmi and the mother of his child. In the end, the woman recanted her claims against him. From there, prosecutors decided they did not have “a good faith basis” to pursue the charges.

Bishop Lamor M. Whitehead Was Robbed At Gunpoint While Delivering A Sermon On Livestream, “I’m Hoping And Praying That They Catch All Three Of Them”

The world seems to be dominated by people who are more concerned about keeping criminals out of jail than punishing them. Some individuals are intent on seeking revenge against those who assisted with the arrest of that criminal. In this case, not just anyone was a target but also a bishop.

The Robbery Involving Bishop Lamor M. Whitehead

According to CBS New York, Bishop Lamor M. Whitehead was robbed at gunpoint while delivering a live-streamed sermon in Brooklyn. “How many of you have lost your faith because you saw somebody else die what you about to go through?” he said during his service.

Soon after, the perpetrators kicked the back door of the church open and marched toward Whitehead with guns in hand. Such prompted him to plead with the perpetrators not to harm his members. The robbers took several chains he wore under his robe, his ring, and his wedding band.

“‘Alright, alright, alright,’ pretty much stating that I’m not going to do anything because I know you’re coming for me. You’re coming straight to me. I don’t want my parishioners hurt. I’ve got women and children there,” Whitehead told the outlet.

According to the bishop, one of the men searched him while he lay on the ground. In addition to taking Whitehead’s wife’s jewelry, one of the suspects held a gun in front of the bishop’s eight-month-old child’s face. Whitehead and his wife lost around $1 million in jewelry.

The pastor reported that approximately 100 people attended the service. In the video, a few people made noises out of fear, but most people remained silent as they dropped to the ground.

It is only natural for anyone in a life-threatening predicament to worry about their lives. There was no remorse on the part of these assailants for the bishop’s family and the church members. They also didn’t bother with whether the children got psychological trauma.

Why Was Bishop Whitehead And His Family Targeted?

While the police haven’t yet identified the robbers, the report claims that the suspects drove away in a white Mercedes. According to Whitehead, the officers also possess a license plate, and people have observed the men changing clothes outside.

The robbery did not result in any injuries, which is a massive relief. However, Lamor believes that the suspects purposefully targeted him and his family after he was proactive in reporting Andrew Abdullah’s arrest. In May, Abdullah went under arrest for the murder of Daniel Enriquez, 48, on the New York City subway.

Some people have such a strange mindset when it comes to thinking. Is there no reason someone who killed an innocent civilian shouldn’t face prosecution? Fair trade! Accountability is essential.

Still Searching For The Suspects

In a new video by CBS New York, police are still searching for the three suspects. Each of the three men wore all-black clothing and had their faces covered. Whitehead expressed hope that the police would be able to capture all three suspects. “I’m excited…hoping and praying that they catch all three of them,” he said. “I’m sure that the community…they’re from, um, I’m sure that someone will recognize them.”

According to CBS New York reporter Zinnia Maldonado, the bishop is offering $50,000 to the NYPD as a reward for information leading to an arrest.

The Murder Of Daniel Enriquez

The life of 48-year-old Mexican American Daniel Enriquez randomly ended when he was shot and killed by a gunman on a subway called the Q train in May.

Andrew Abdullah opened fire on Enriquez in broad daylight while riding the train into Manhattan to obtain some food. The arrest and subsequent trial of Abdullah for second-degree murder have been successful.

Daniel was loved and cherished by so many friends and family members. It puzzled his niece Jessica why no one knew of Abdullah’s firearm ownership. She believes that no one paid attention to their surroundings.

“How did this guy even get control of a gun, and how was he able to actually go onto the train?” she said. “And then nobody sees that he had a gun in his hand? Because everybody’s so distracted on the phone. Nobody sees it.”

In a world filled with sin, it is sad that innocent people continue to die at the hands of evil. We pray for the eternal rest of Daniel Enriquez, as well as the return of Bishop Lamor Whitehead and his family to peaceful circumstances.

Musician And Father Nyier “Nas” Cunningham Killed In A Hit-And-Run Accident In West Philadelphia

There is absolutely no way to describe how heartbreaking this story is! Compassion is not something that some people have in abundance. Specific drivers leave the scene without considering the victim or their family regarding hit-and-run crimes. A 28-year-old Parkside West Philadelphia resident named Nyier “Nas” Cunningham was riding his mountain bike at about 1 a.m. on Friday. Around this time, he died in a hit-and-run accident a few blocks from his residence.

According to the police, a dark-colored, four-wheel drive pickup truck hit Cunningham near 52nd Street and Wyalusing Avenue. Currently, no information is available regarding the identity of the driver. However, the search continues.

The late Nas Cunningham was a multi-talented individual. It was not only that he was a rapper but also a beatboxer, a gifted harmonica player, and a father. Nas participated in YSI’s 12th annual My Life, My Future Teen Conference, and Rally held at Temple University’s Howard Gittis Student Center on Jun 25, 2014.

Driver Negligence Led To The Death Of Nyier Cunningham

According to CBS 3 Philly, Chief Inspector Small states that Nyier was struck so severely that he was knocked out of his shoes. The remote cameras monitor area, which is a positive development. Officers and medics who responded to the scene found the victim lying on the sidewalk. His head had injuries and two legs that may have broken too.

Unfortunately, individuals in this world drive recklessly, which illustrates their irresponsibility. It is the responsibility of every driver on the road to drive carefully to avoid accidents. Never compromise your sense of safety, regardless of your level of experience.

Moreover, after going to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Nyier underwent surgery. At 4:30 a.m., he died.

Truck Located

While the police are still searching for the suspect, they discovered the truck Friday evening at Belmont Avenue and Thompson Street. Strangely enough, authorities reported that the license plate was removed from the back of the vehicle. Since the license plate hasn’t been on the car, it proves that the driver is trying to get away. It also shows he’s aware of the impropriety of what has happened. In addition, the left front headlight and left side mirror are damaged.

Furthermore, one of Cunningham’s friends spoke highly of his care for his son. “He always had his son with him. No matter when I saw him, he had his son with him, all the time,” Tamara Murphy El said. Our deepest sympathies are going to Nyier’s family and friends during this difficult time. We pray that he will rest in peace.

NBA YoungBoy’s Gun Charges And Demands To Be Removed From House Arrest

22-year-old YoungBoy Never Broke Again, aka NBA YoungBoy, born Kentrell D. Gaulden, is one of the most streamed artists in the United States. Since 2017, he has been in trouble with the law. However, the situation appears to be improving.

NBA YoungBoy was found not guilty on July 15 of having a firearm and ammunition in Los Angeles. This charge stems from a separate federal arrest warrant that Youngboy issued in March 2021 for gun possession in the Los Angeles area. Moreover, in September 2020, the rapper was among 16 individuals accused of possessing guns and drugs during a video shoot in his hometown, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

A post shared by Andrew (@yoboi.ab_)

Considering that the “I Got The Bag” rapper has recently been found not guilty of the specific charge, he and his lawyers believe he should be released from house arrest. Among his house arrest conditions in Utah are using a GPS tracking device, incarceration at home, and pre-approved visitation privileges.

Due to this, his attorneys argue that house arrest rules should cease and impede his career as an artist. In addition, AllHipHop acquired court documents from Gaulden’s legal counsel requesting the modification of his bail order from October 2021.

“NBA YoungBoy was acquitted in a parallel prosecution concerning the firearm found inside of his car when he was arrested on the underlying warrant in this case,” said his attorneys. “We believe that a modification of bail is in order and that the current release conditions are more onerous than necessary to assure his appearance or protect the commencing from danger.”

YoungBoy Never Broke Again: A Look Back at March 2021

As police officers pulled over the Baton Rouge rapper in his Mercedes Maybach in March 2021, he initially complied with them. Despite this, NBA was unaware of an outstanding federal warrant.

His nervousness led him to pull off and lead the police on a high-speed pursuit. A short time later, he abruptly exited his vehicle and sprinted away. Upon approaching the car, police officers discovered a pistol equipped with an FNX .45 caliber cartridge, ammunition, money, and jewelry.

Wise Decisions

Despite NBA’s recent acquittal, it is pertinent to note that we must make better decisions regarding firearms as a nation. A gun owner should ensure that the firearm is registered to avoid legal repercussions.

Furthermore, it is essential to maintain a clean record to the best of your ability. Criminal records that include misdemeanors or felonies may limit an individual’s opportunities in life. In life, things happen, which is understandable; however, some situations can be avoided. Lyrics in rap songs can reveal a great deal about an artist. In other words, be careful what you disclose to the public.

Boosie Badazz Harassment Claims Shut Down by Cops

Boosie Badazz claims the reason that he was pulled over and handcuffed by the police is because he is famous. The cops in Georgia, where the incident took place, claim this is false. Badazz was riding shotgun in a black Cadillac SUV when police pulled the car over. The reason cops pulled the rapper over was because the car had heavy window tint and concealed tags. During the traffic stop, however, the cops handcuffed Badazz and this sent the rapper off on a huge rant about cops. In the rant, Boosie Badazz talks about how he is being targeted by the cops for his celebrity status. TMZ obtained the entire rant video and was told that the cops were intending to search the car. You can watch the entire video below.

The Outcome of Boosie Badazz Dealing With Cops & Fame

Obviously, this is not the first time that a celebrity has made such accusations. In this case, the police officers claimed to smell marijuana and put the cuffs on the rapper for police protection. According to Fairburn Police Department Deputy Chief Anthony Bazydlo, it is common for cops to use handcuffs when searching a car. Bazydlo says that Badazz’s claims are false and his celebrity status or past criminal history had nothing to do with the stop. The cop’s main reason for the stop was for the temporary license plate. Additionally, the license plate was obstructed and could not be checked. The cop’s search turned up a large bag of cash and a bag of weed. The driver of the Cadillac SUV, De’Shun Lawrence claimed ownership of the pot. Lawrence was cited and Badazz was released.

This is not the first time that TMZ has caught up to Badazz. Recently they also got footage of him getting in the face of a man outside a hotel. This incident was completely different from this as Badazz was defending a hotel employee who was being berated by the man.

DJ Drama Reflects On Getting Arrested 15 Years Ago For Selling Illegal Mixtapes And Defeating RICO Charges

Philadelphia native Tyree Simmons, known as DJ Drama, posted a tweet on Tuesday morning, July 12, reflecting on his victory in the RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) case in 2007.

“I REALLY got hit wit the R.I.C.O.  (and won),” he said.

DJ Drama and Don Cannon, co-founders of Generation Now, were arrested and raided at AMG Headquarters recording studio in downtown Atlanta on Jan. 16, 2007, for selling counterfeit mixtapes.

DJ Drama Is Informed That Something Bad Is About to Occur

During an interview with Shawn Cotton, creator of the YouTube channel Say Cheese!, Drama discusses how a friend whose family is associated with law enforcement called him and informed him that the authorities were heading to the recording studio to conduct a raid. At the time, there was little reaction from Drama.

“I’m thinking it’s a mixed up. I’m like all right good looking, thanks for the heads up,” he said. “But you know there’s a studio next door and I’m thinking something’s going on over there. They’re not coming over here.”

Eventually, Drama returned to the office to tell one of the employees, Jason Brown, about the phone call he received. Brown immediately grabbed all the computer discs and hurried out of the building. While Drama stepped outside the building to move his car out of the parking lot, law enforcement abruptly surrounded him.

“I see black tahoes from every corner just pulling up onto the pavement and they just jump right out,” Drama said. “Like whole outfits on M16s drawn pointing right at me.”

Confiscation

Moreover, police informed Drama and Cannon they were being arrested for bootlegging and racketeering under RICO laws. They raided the building and asked the employees where the drugs and guns were located, but neither were found. However, Billboard reports that the police seized 81,000 mixtape CDs, studio equipment, hard drives, Drama’s bank accounts were frozen, and much more.

DJ Drama and Don Cannon Face Betrayal

Furthermore, neither Don nor Drama spent more than one night in jail. The following day, they were able to post bail of $100,000 each.

It was shocking for Drama to learn that the RIAA was involved in their arrest. Since this organization has a long-standing association with Drama and has made millions of dollars from his Gangsta Grillz creation, this felt like a breach of trust.

“Here these people are supplying me with music and you know these labels are paying me to do this thing,” Drama said in an interview with 247HH. “Then you know they come and raid me for the same reason they thanked me on the other end.”

There are many artists whose careers have been launched by DJ Drama. Sadly, he and Cannon were stabbed in the back by an organization that seemed to be trustworthy. This, however, allows you to determine who is genuinely interested in your well-being.

Jayland Walker, An Unarmed Black Man, Was Shot Over 60 Times By Akron Police During A Traffic Stop

Akron, Ohio, is closing major intersections before the 4th of July weekend to prepare for peaceful protests. A traffic violation resulting in a fatal foot pursuit led to the shooting and death of Jayland Walker, 25, on Monday (June 27). According to reports, eight officers fired over 90 shots during the deadly encounter.

WKYC reported that seven of the eight police officers involved in the shooting are white.

“Use of force cases are always ugly. This case is ugly times ten,” according to a police source who spoke to 3News Investigates. A body camera video recording of the shooting should be available within the next week due to the investigation. Nonetheless, an autopsy revealed that Walker suffered injuries from his face down to his legs.

As reported by CNN, the medical examiner’s office “indicated that Walker was observed laying on his back and was in handcuffs when a medical examiner investigator arrived at the shooting scene.”

In a press conference, Bobby DiCello, a lawyer for Walker’s family, said, “How these events took place leaves us with many, many, many questions.” He also encouraged people to protest peacefully.

What Led to the Death of Jayland Walker?

Walker allegedly conducted a high-speed chase with Akron police, resulting in his accusation of firing shots at them. Four-and-a-half minutes after the encounter began, Walker reportedly took off on foot before police used tasers. However, the authorities claim that over 90 shots occurred within seconds, hitting Walker more than 60 times.

The police fired some of their last shots at Walker’s body as it lay on the pavement, sources told WKYC. Despite not having a firearm at the time of the incident, police found a gun inside his vehicle.  Based on the autopsy results, the officers handcuffed Walker following the shooting. At the time of arrival of medical assistance, he was dead.

In preparation for further protests, Akron’s Mayor Dan Horrigan canceled the city’s Rib, White, and Blue Festival yesterday (June 30). “Independence Day is meant to be a celebration and a time of gathering with friends and family. Unfortunately, I feel strongly that this is not the time for a city-led celebration,” he said.
