Drake Fires Back At Music Critic Anthony Fantano Over Leaking Fake DMs

Grammy Award-winning rapper Drake recently fired back at music critic Anthony Fantano. He fired back because Anthony allegedly leaked fake DMs.

Anthony Fantano Leaks Allegedly Fake DMs From Drizzy

“Anthony! It’s Drizzy,” the alleged fake message said. The YouTuber recited it in his latest video that dropped on Sept. 15. “I know we don’t really see eye-to-eye about music and that you are not the biggest fan of most of my albums (thanks for the kind words on Take Care and If You’re Reading This tho). But it is what it is, you know. Can always hope you’ll like the next one! But I’m not messaging you about your videos. I’m actually messaging you cause I found a really great vegan cookie recipe I’d love you to try.”

The following message included instructions on how to make vegan cookies, including the proper ingredients. 

“I’d really appreciate it if you could give this a spin and let me know if it’s worth trying myself! Appreciate you! Drizzy out!” the end of the message said. 

Drake Responds To Anthony

A few hours after Anthony released the video, Drake clapped back via Instagram stories. There, the Honestly Nevermind rapper shared the allegedly real DMs he sent to the music critic. The messages were reportedly in reference to Anthony’s rating system for his album reviews.

“Your existence is a light 1. And the 1 is cause your alive. And cause you somehow wifed a black girl. I’m feeling a light to decent 1 on your existence.”

Anthony Returns With Another Shady Response

After Drake’s response, Anthony took to Instagram Live to take shots at the six god. He called Drizzy “salty,” “in his feelings” and “obssessed” for knowing his rating system. The music critic even threw jabs the musician for allegedly using a ghostwriter. 

“Drake was in his feelings, as he does tend to be, because that is his nature, that is his vibe, that is his style, that’s his whole thing. Being in his feelings, that’s his brand, you could say…He was in his feelings Wednesday night, very late into the evening…It was a salty little DM, it was quite sad and unfortunate…A couple of things were running through my head…One: ‘Why is Drake messaging me? I’m not 18 years of age. That’s kinda weird.’ Second thing I was thinking: ‘This man is familiar enough with me to know my rating system. Seems a little odd, seems a little obsessed.’…The other thing that I was thinking is that, why did he say the ‘light one’ thing twice?…I don’t know why he said that weak a*s line two times. It also made me think, this is why he has ghostwriters.”

Lil Durk and India Royale May Have Called It Quits

Fans speculate that rapper Lil Durk and his fiancee India Royale have called it quits. Royale has unfollowed Durk on Instagram and tweeted saying she’s a “free agent.” India also removed all pictures from her feed that included Durk.

Lil Durk Strikes Back

Lil Durk went to post on his Instagram story shortly after implying that he and India are still together despite her tweet. “That [cat emoji] mines 4ever welcome to death row b*%ch,” Durk then posted on her story with only a hat emoji. 

While it is unclear if the passage was about India, one can assume.

The Love Backstory

Lil Durk and India Royale started dating in 2017 and have a daughter together. The kid’s name is Willow; she was born in October 2018. 

Last December, the rapper also proposed to India at one of his shows. “You’ve been the realest to me, and I love you to death. I’d smoke a muthafucka for you. So, do you want to be my wife?” Durk said on the stage.

India confidently responded with “yes” at the moment. 

In March, Durk also spoke with the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast. The hosts, Gillie Da Kid and Wallo, asked the artist what inspired him to propose to India. 

The Chicago rapper said that Royale’s low body count inspired him to propose. “Being real, not cheating, she ain’t been passed around. It was, like, her body count. That’s what really did it.”

He then added that that is who he is and does not want a wife who has been in many relationships.

Royale and her Durk took to Twitter to respond to the backlash made by his comments. “Idgaf what people think about my fiancé,” Royale tweeted out. “That’s why he mine, get you one.”

It’s not yet clear if the engagement has also reversed.

Kanye West Responds To 50 Cent Over Kim Kardashian “Diarrhea” Post

The fact that Kanye West is outspoken is not surprising, as he is very forthright about his views. Recently, he has been posting a great deal of information on Instagram. Sadly, the artist has mourned the death of Queen Elizabeth, criticized Adidas and urged others to follow suit, ripped into Kim Kardashian and her family, voiced his discontent with Instagram’s guidelines, and many more.

Nevertheless, one thing he neglected to mention was the matter he resolved with 50 Cent.

An image posted on Instagram by the ‘I’m The Man’ rapper on Friday, Sept. 9, appeared to be a repost from Kanye West, which described his ex-wife’s bathroom habits. “Kim has diarrhea a lot,” the removed post began. “Like way more than the normal person could have it.”

What Did 50 Cent Think About The Instagram Post?

As a result of being surprised by what he read, 50 Cent captioned the post. “What the f**k make you do this, smh,” he wrote. “Not liquor nah. That boy on dat branson!”

However, there is a possibility that Ye is not the man behind one of the most recent posts. West quickly responded to the Power co-creator’s post in the comments section, denying the post was published by him. “I ain’t write this bro,” he wrote.

The things that people choose to do with their time are astounding. Although trolling someone’s account might be an option, it is not always the best course of action.

Ye Previously Affirmed That He Didn’t Create The Post

Moreover, 50 Cent is probably unaware that earlier in the week, Kanye denied being the writer of the controversial “diarrhea” post that was initially posted on Twitter and became a viral hit eventually.

The “Gold Digger” rapper posted a message on his Instagram account to dispel the rumors. “This was not from me. Someone copied my style of text and wrote something not funny,” he elaborated.

Trolling

West has spent much time on his Instagram calling out various opponents in the past few weeks. Also, his account currently contains only two photographs. One of the photos is of a model wearing new Yeezy sunglasses. The caption, however, was omitted by Ye.

Due to all that West has been through lately, it is understandable why his Instagram page is so sparse. Furthermore, as a popular public figure, one is likelier to be stalked and trodden by others. There seems to be a system that prevents celebrities from living peaceful lives for whatever reason.

The person who created that post about Kim K should be ashamed of themselves.

Cardi B Shows Off New Ink On Her Face

Cardi B just got some new ink, and she’s been showing it off to the world. The Bronx artist revealed her fresh tattoos via Instagram Live. She tatted the names of her children, Kulture and Wave, on her face. Cardi has her son, Wave, on the side of of it in red ink. Kulture’s name is tattooed on her arm in a similar fashion.  It’s funny because last year the 29-year-old rapper was grateful that she never got a face tattoo as a teenager. Then, earlier this year, she hinted at getting a face tattoo on Twitter.  I guess the birth of her son changed her mind. Tattoo artist, Robinson De Los Santos did the work.

Cardi Loves Tattoos

As we all know, Cardi is no stranger to getting tattoos. She has a name tattoo of her husband, Offset, on the back of her thigh.  She also has a name tattoo of her sister, Hennessey, on her bicep.  These are just some of the many tattoos she has.  In hip-hop, tattoos on faces are a thing and have been for a while.  From Gucci Mane and Lil Wayne to Lil Uzi Vert and Trippie Redd many artists have tattoos on their face. Drake has even joined the club. Celebrity tattoo artist Noah Lee did the honors.  Just like Cardi, the 6 God honored someone near and dear to him. He got the initials “s.g” under his eye in red ink as well.  S.G. stands for Sandra Graham, who is his mother.

Trendsetter

Cardi B is a trendsetter, so I expect more women to follow suit in getting their faces tatted.  She also may make Duck nails a thing again.  The nails started trending on TikTok again recently and Cardi B has been involved.  Last week, the Grammy winning artist took to Instagram to show off her new nails.  She displayed French tips with cherry decals and red gems.  Also called “Jersey nails,” Cardi has elevated the craze of Duck nails.  We will be seeing Duck nails and face tattoos everywhere now.

Swae Lee Files For Joint Custody of Daughter With Brazilian Model

Swae Lee, half of the Rae Sremmurd duo, has entered into a custody battle. While this is a unique circumstance with industry fathers, Lee has filed his petition for 50/50 joint custody of his 1-year-old daughter, Angel.

Lee fathered a child with a model from Brazil, Aline Martins. The two welcomed their daughter last year, and now he wants more than to pay child support. 

Aline Martins shared with EXTRA that Swae Lee abandoned her and their newborn daughter. She went in to specify that she was pursuing to get child support from the rapper since physical and financial support offer never came. 

Love Turned Sour 

Aline Martins shared the two were in love when their relationship began in 2016. Infidelity and manipulation was the culprit to the demise of their relationship, possibly due to his Rockstar lifestyle. “He considered me a girlfriend, although the proposal was never made. During this period, some betrayals came to me, of course, but he always denied, manipulated me, and I preferred to close my eyes; I was in love,” Martins told EXTRA.

She also shared that Lee tried to persuade her to get an abortion. “He started sending me daily messages that he knew painless ways to have an abortion and that he was committed to taking care of me for the rest of my life if I took the baby away.”

Swae Lee: Being A Father

Swae Lee filed for 50/50 joint custody per legal documents obtained by TMZ. They also noted that their Swae sources shared this petition started as a preventative measure to avoid unnecessary drama. The “Unforgettable” singer seemingly wants to develop an organic relationship with his daughter that will include spending holidays and quality time together. 

The change of heart may stem from his newfound joy of welcoming another baby into the world. Fresh off of a jungle-themed baby shower, Lee and Victoria Kristine shared the grand event via social media, where both appear with all smiles.

Still, Aline let on that this may be a manipulation tactic to continue not supporting daughter Angel financially. Though the single mother reportedly received $15k, Martin claims she accumulated debt from the pregnancy.

The Custody Battles’ Facts

Absent parents may return out of the blue, petitioning for custody or visitation. Whether the abuse reports appear or a genuine change of heart to return, there is no law against it. However, an attorney will want to judge the facts of these cases to proceed. 

In many cases, the absent parent files for custody larger than 50 percent to lower child support payments. Though this rides the line of manipulation, there is a silver lining for the child; more time with the absent parent. The reason for that parents’ absence should also be considered. Not wanting to parent is grounds for implementing a limited court-ordered visitation agreement. 

Let’s hope the “Black Beatles” curator will uphold his word to spend more time with baby Angel.

YG Says Nas is his “Bucket List” Collab

Cali front-runner YG is prepping for the release of his sixth album. There’s one feature on an upcoming record the artist is most excited about so far.

The 32-year-old recently spilled to TMZ about the sixth installment in his discography, “I Got Issues.” 

According to YG, a much coveted Nas feature has been on his checklist for quite some time. While the two artists still haven’t formally worked together in person, the track clearly means much to the Cali native.

YG Crosses One Off The List

Since 2016, Nas has been a big dot on YG’s radar for a feature. The two previously collaborated on the Queens artist 2021 album “Kings Disease II.” On “YKTV,” Nas and YG, along with A Boogie, go back and forth about women, money, and cars. 

This newest addition, “I Got Issues,” is also the first time the pair joined forces on YG’s solo project. Understandably, it’s a whole new kind of excitement.

The song has the duo talking from opposite perspectives, with YG also speaking in the third person over Nas’ firsthand account. This accomplishment is a good time for the “Kommunity Service” rapper, who’s taken a noticeably mature turn for his newest release.

Amongst the variety of themes present in “I Got Issues,” gang violence and co-parenting issues are prominent. In a more lighthearted twist, YG offers his version of 50 Cent’s “How to Rob,” jokingly detailing how he’d steal from some of his industry peers. The LA hitmaker told TMZ Hip Hop he’s not too concerned with any backlash from the track, and hopefully, he’s right.

“I Got Issues” drops in their entirety on September 30th. However, you can now listen to a few teaser tracks on Apple Music.

YG dropped his fourth single from the album this past Friday, titled “Alone.”

Just when Lil Kim and Megan Thee Stallion fans got a taste of the “Plan B (Remix),” the thrill died. Within hours of the track being released, it was removed from all streaming platforms.

The blessed cultural collab 

With every photo tease, Lil Kim has had everyone on lock, wondering what the Queen was up to. The New York legend revealed her remix to Hot Girl Meg’s “Plan B” Last month, Kim shared a photo on her Instagram page showing just enough to get everyone pondering, much like her captioned emoji. In the image, two hands are wrapped around each other, each holding a glass of champagne. When the bubbly comes out, you can bet it’s a celebration.

It was a celebration indeed. On Sep 7, the legend fully revealed the mystery photo with herself and non-other than Megan Thee Stallion. The two were on a private jet toasting it up. Kim was draped in Dolce & Gabbana while Megan fashioned a red and sand-colored dress.

Lil Kim x Megan- A budding friendship

The female rap game is competitive as not many female rappers have survived the cutthroat industry. However, Lil Kim has solidified her spot amongst legends in the game. How did this collaboration come to fruition? 

There is no secret that Megan is Lil Kim’s fan. She has openly expressed her gratitude for female rappers who put in the work so that new MCs may emulate their success. From Lil Kim to Salt-N-Peppa, the Houston hottie paid homage to them all. 

Much like Megan, Kim pays respect to the new generation of lady lyricists who are changing the game. In a heartfelt message to Meagan on the gram, Lil Kim says,  

“@theestallion, I have watched how hard you worked since you stepped on the scene consistent with your work and your love,. You are an amazing talent. Always keep your head to the sky and know you have made your Mommy proud! You deserve it all! May God continue to bless you.”

A Dream Fulfilled; Short-lived

Just as quickly as the train left the station, it returned. Unfortunately, the track brought about unintentional drama. 50 Cent publicly alleged that Lil Kim dissed Nicki Minaj and her son, Papa Bear, on the “Plan B(Remix).” In shady nature, 50 shared a photo collage of Kim next to an owl, eluding to similarities between the two. 

“@NickiMinaj you better light her a$$ up i’m watching. she said something about the baby. Her baby eye f****d up. LOL.”

The line in question is certainly open for interpretation. However, Kim disagreed with his claims. 

“I don’t know who needs to hear this, but N*ga you’s such a b**ch, Your father’s a b**ch, Your brother’s a b**ch, Keep acting like this and your son gon be a b***ch, They think they use us but they useless…he wanna eat the cookie like I’m Lucius,” Lil Kim rapped.

Initially, she simply replied, 

“Now watch what God do to his Life!”

It didn’t take long for her to address the issue completely in her Instagram stories. 

“I never said a word about anyone’s child… please feel free to listen to the song where we were clearly talking about an EX.”

She continued, “to try and twist my words to have an excuse to take digs at my child is disgusting. I’m one of the most disrespected legends in the game, but what you will not do is come for MY CHILD.”

While 50 will be 50, let’s hope the song’s removal is not in correlation to this series of unfortunate events.

Veteran rapper Gucci Mane and his wife Keyshia Ka’oir announced that they’re expecting. 

The couple announced the exciting news via Instagram. The bun in the oven will be their second child, as they have one-year-old, Ice Davis.  

“Let’s Have Another Baby ICE Needs Somebody To Play With,” Keyshia wrote on Sep 9. Her post’s caption was about Gucci Mane’s song, “Mrs. Davis,” also dedicated to Keyshia Ka’oir. The song was released on Jun 3.

Gucci’s Parenthood

Gucci opened up about what it felt like being a father again after Ice was born. 

“It’s a great thing, and I love it, but it’s definitely challenging to be a parent,” he said. “I always want my music to talk about what was going on in my life. The most important thing in my life now is my son.”

The Atlanta rapper has been busy living his best life and promoting his artist’s music.  Last month he released his latest song, “Dissin’ the Dead,” which went viral due to its lyrical content. In it, he warns rappers to stop dissing dead people and talks about the consequences it comes with. 

As previously reported by FM Hip Hop, Gucci “[expressed] his regret over popularizing the trend of disrespecting fallen enemies. He also calls for the young generation to follow his lead. A visual crafted by Omar, the Director, accompanies the song. In it, Gucci Mane posts up in a cemetery while wearing hoodies commemorating Trouble and Young Dolph. 

Coincidentally, the track dropped on Wednesday, which would’ve been Dolph’s 37th birthday…Gucci Mane isn’t the only rapper to change his stance on disrespecting the dead. Last year, Lil Durk promised to stop the practice after the deluxe release of The Voice. Florida rapper Julio Foolio followed not long after, calling it ‘childish.'”

However, 600 Breezy’s and his girlfriend’s businesses flourished independently. 600 took to Instagram to share Jackson’s tragic loss and what seems to be her last words. In a heartbreaking final plea, Jackson revealed her hopelessness in life itself and her inability to continue to hide them any longer.

The rumors claim she may have jumped from a bridge. These allegations may be supported by her message to Breezy, “It’s 5pm here, this bridge is actually nice. I wish we would’ve came here together.”

“The Best 2 years of my life……”

The two had been dating for 2 years. During that time, both excelled in perspective business ventures. Jackson founded Go cRAEzy Fitness which offered luxury fitness gear, gym essentials, and training. She also found the “Real Talk With Raven” community, where she emphasized and advocated for “mental health and awareness while providing a safe, inviting, and nurturing space to facilitate growth and awareness.”

600 Breezy, on the other hand, is a Chicago rapper amongst the long list of drill rappers. He is known to have been a close associate of the late King Von. Breezy recently released his “Retaliation” project with several singles and videos that generated hundreds of thousands of streams.

600 Breezy, Mental Health, And Depression

Per the messages 600 Breezy shared from his late girlfriend, she had been suffering long before she took action. Like many who have fallen victim to the clinically diagnosed disease, she felt disconnected. Though she had achieved what many wouldn’t succeed in a lifetime, she couldn’t bare to live with misdiagnosis and stress.

Mental illness has taken the lives of many public figures. While this is a mournful topic, the public must address it and take it seriously in the future.

Kanye West Reveals Some of his Favorite Music Via Flurry Of Instagram Posts

In a highly hectic series of recent Instagram posts, this Chicago legend has given props to his peers and criticism to Adidas.

Kanye West‘s Instagram feed has been a mix of strange and fascinating for the past couple of weeks. The 45-year-old has been using the social media app to personally call out some of the people in his life, specifically the Adidas staff.

Kanye’s Calm Before the Storm

The more positive term began with an interview with Los Angeles Rams defensive tackler Aaron Donald. In the interview, West asks the athlete what exactly he’s looking for in a shoe. “Yeezy Cleats coming soon” he typed in the caption. This is yet another big fashion venture for the already accomplished mogul. While Yeezy’s have seen a massive amount of success, athletic wear would be a first for Kanye.

Kanye then proceeded to upload a clip of Celtics player Jaylen Brown and an unknown woman playing billiards with the post captioned: “pool sharks.”

Of course, this streak of peacefulness didn’t last for too long.

The Kanye/ Adidas Conflict

The Yeezus” rapper swiftly continued to post about his fashion-related ideas including new slides and pants. He then put up a screenshot of a comment left on one of those posts from IG user Deliberatew. The comment shed some light on the need for homeless people to have a backpack with features that can help their dire situation. Apparently, he loved the idea as he co-signed the comment in his caption. “Love this thinking”

Kanye is never one to dash grudges. After posting about his playlist, Ye subsequently began posting the names and faces of high-ranking Adidas employees. Jing Ulrich, Guenter Weigl, Thomas Rabe, Bodo Uebber, and Micheal Storl are only a few of the 16 staff posted by Kanye along with a mysterious caption. “Sending super positive love and good energy :)))” he typed under senior Vice President of global sports marketing Guenter Weigl. “Sooooo much positivity” he captioned with a photo of chief executive officer Sawiris. It’s unknown what exactly Ye’s motive is for posting the long string of employee photos.
